Zero was there before she got there. He was staring at the floor, tapping the tip of his shoe to the ground for entertainment.

Seven stared at him as she walked down the hallway to reach him. It was as if he was the prey and she was the predator.

He gave her a nod of acknowledgment as she stood next to him. She returned it, choosing to keep the silence between them.

She wasn't in the mood for talking. It was ironic as she was about to do a compatibility test with Zero. He respected her and he was her student. She took care of him when he was still a trainee and she continued to give him advice.

She treated him like a baby sometimes, but Zero realized it was her way of caring for him. The two weren't much for talking, but they had different reasons. Her guess was that he wasn't used to people. Being taking in at such a young age would do that to a person, especially if they're teaching you to not trust others and to kill.

"Thank you for being right on time," Dr. Park greeted.

Seven put her hand gently over her heart and bowed, tapping her shoe against Zero. Zero quickly followed her gesture and greeted the doctor.

"Thank you. Now, follow me."

The trio turned and started to walk when Seven saw something out of the corner of her eye. It was something black that was lingering by the corner. She stopped just as a strange man stopped in front of them.

He pulled out a stun gun and aimed at the doctor.
