As Kima and Tyze return to the tent they hear their daughters laugther and enter. They see Zye happy in her hammock making them smile. Zye came up and lifted her. "Strange I wonder why she was crying" Kima said as she looked towards Tyze. He shurrged his shoulders coming to her with a smile. As they saw to Zye the zion was running back to his den to see the mother zioness. Her coat was white as she was covered in leopard spots going down her back with big blue eyes.

He came to see her laying down as the cubs played around her. The black zion licked head her than layed down next to her as the cubs started to gather around him. The white zioness looked at him curious wondering where he has gone.The black zion only layed too tired to show her. She lowered her head licking him on cheek than rested herself tired from the cubs.

Zye sat on the blankets behind her mother as she knitted. Kima saw her sister throw the flaps."Are still wanting to finsh picking berries I still need some for my recipe." "Alright"  She smiled putting down her neddles. Zye watch as her mother rose and wondered if she could do it herself. She was about to try when her mouth lifted her up. "Come Zye lets pick some berries before your father comes back." Kima smiled leaving the tent.  

They arrived and she set Zye down and bent down."Ok Zye stay put and you can have juicey berries." She smiled and Zye giggled. Kima rose starting to pick berries talking to her sister. Zye looked throw the bushes looking for the zion. She crawled under the bushes going to where she saw the zions before. She saw the white zioness giving her cub a bath. The zioness heard the child's laughter and looked up. She saw the infant come to her. She tilted her head.

The cub tryed to go to Zye but the zioness lifted him up not sure what the creature do. She nudged the black zion so he take care of it. He moaned annoyed. She growled holding her cub in her mouth and he knew that growl meant get up before I make you growl. He looked to see Zye, He want to throw the child on the other side of the planet to be done with her but he had a feeling that she find a way to get back. He stood up coming to her. Zye saw him stand than looked at her legs. She used her hands to push herself up and stood on her legs.

The zion saw this and backed up in suprise. Zye saw the zion and tryed to walk to him but fell on her stomach with a step. She whimphered up at the Zion. The black zion looked back at zioness as she held her cub. He saw the cub moving his paws and figured it she was learning to walk. He lowered his nose tapping her cheek trying to push her up but she only held his snout with her small arms. The zion lifted his snout slowly as she stood on her feet. He backed up slowly helping her walk forward as she smiled. He lifted his head making her let go and she took a step. She giggled then tripped but zion lowered his nose for her to catch. She stood and smiled. 

The zion lead her back to the bush.He stay close behind as she walked. She walked forward as the Zion backed up. She looked back at the zion and tryed to to turn but fall. The zion came lifting her up and walked her back going to the bush. The zion set her down and she walked forward. Kima heard a rustle in the bushes. She looked to see Zye walk out and gasped. Zye saw her mother and walked to her. Kima bent down smiling and hugged her. She lifted her off the ground. "We must tell your father" She smiled than ran off towards the camp.The zion watched as the mother goes with Zye. He then thought of how he just helped a two legger learn to walk. He just hoped it wouldnt be in vain.
