Cassandra was done with her shower and sitting at the couch in the living room. "How was the shower?" "It was amazing! I was filthy. I got in and instantly all the dirt on my body fell off and went down the drain. How was the jar of peanut butter you ate?" She laughed. I sat the empty jar down, "It was like heaven." "Well maybe you should take a shower you have more of it on your face then you probably got in your mouth." I felt my face turn red. I walked out of kitchen into the bathroom in the bedroom. I turned the handle on the shower and let the water rain down. I took my dirty clothes off and went inside. The water pelted my body and all of the dirt and grime fell off my body. Oh yea and some peanut butter fell off as well.

I got out of the shower to find that my normal clothes weren't there but replaced by a gray shirt and jeans. Who was in the bathroom while I was taking a shower? And how could I not of heard it? I threw the clothes on went into the living room to find Cassandra reading some papers.
"That one officer dropped these off as well as some clothes for us, he suggests that we read these so we understand the rules here." She said handing me some papers.
"So that officer put the clothes in the bathroom while I was showering!"

"No that was me silly, I didn't want you in dirty clothes and I didn't want you walking out naked either."

"Oh" I said turning my attention to the papers in front of me.

The paper in front of me was basically about how this place is run.

1.) laundry will be collected every other day(clothes, bedsheets, ect.)  as well as trash. Simply leave these out side your door at 5pm.
2.) Food can either be made by yourself or have it made and sent to your room. You may also go to the cafeteria.
3.) Everyone has a job to do, jobs will be assigned to you in a weeks time.
4.) No one can be out of their room past eleven. This is just for safety reasons.
5.) no weapons will be aloud inside the building unless your job requires it.

We were also given a map of the building to know where everything is.
"I don't see why there is so many rules! This says that if we want to eat in the cafeteria we have to be there at 5 for dinner." Cassandra says throwing the papers across the room.

"Well it's 4:45 do you want to see if the others want to go eat?"

"Sure." She says standing up and walking towards the door.
I follow her as she goes to warrens room. She knocks and a few seconds later Warren appeared at the door, "Well look who it is!" Cassandra smiles and talks to her about going to get food. "I would love to go but Doc is asleep in his room, so I'll stay here and just have the food brought to our room." With that Warren smiles and shuts the door. We walk to Mack and Addy's room. I pound on the door and I wait. No one answers so Cassandra and I decided to just have the food delivered to us.

I put an order in for our food over the phone that was in our room, the phone only had three numbers we were able to call, the kitchens, the emergency number and the cleaning service number. I dial the number that was given for the the kitchens, "Hello how may I help you." The voice behind the phone says.
"May I order to dinners for room 220?"

"Ah, you are the new people yes you can." The lady says.
"Ok thank you." I say hanging the phone up.

I went back and sat on the couch with Cassandra who was still reading Some of the papers, "Did you know we only have electricity from 8am to 6pm!" She said. "No I didn't."

It took around 15 minutes for our food to be sent up. I heard a knock on the door. Cassandra got up, "Well there is our food!" She said walking over to the door. A lady stood there with an apron on with two plates in her hands with a bottle of wine under her arm. She takes the plates and turns to me, "Will you grab the wine?" I took the wine from the lady, she looked to be in her forties I was taller than her by about six inches and she smiled at me, "You have a very pretty girlfriend." "I...uh... She's..." I tried saying but before I could get the rest of it out she was already walking away. So I closed the door and set the wine on our dining table. "She seemed like a nice lady." Cassandra said. I couldn't tell her what she said to me because Cassandra would probably flip out so I kept that part to myself. "Yea she did." I said sitting down. The food that sat in front of me had to be the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. There sat a plate full of Spaghetti, a meal I never thought I would eat again. I was brought back to reality when I heard a popping sound, I looked up to see Cassandra taking the top of the wine bottle off. She poured a glass and handed it to me. I looked at the wine with disgust.

"What have you never drank alcohol?" Cassandra said sounding surprised.

I shook my head.

"Will you please try some it is the best thing ever!" She said taking a big gulp from her glass.

I took a sip. I felt the liquid burn my throat all the way down to my stomach. A disgusted  look formed on my face. Cassandra started giggling. "That was the worst thing I ever tasted." I said taking another sip this time getting used to the drink.

"So do you like it?" Cassandra said laughing.

"It's okay" I said putting my glass back onto the table.

The rest of our dinner was basically drinking and a ton of laughter. Cassandra would drop her fork occasionally.

I stretch my arms out,"I'm tired, I think I'm going to head to bed."

"I think I will too. We can clean this mess up in the morning." Cassandra says.

I walk into the bed room and begin taking a pillow off of the bed and placing it onto the floor.

"No you can sleep in the bed with me. No need for you to sleep on the floor." Cassandra says getting into bed, "And besides the floor doesn't look that comfortable." She adds.

"Are you sure it's ok. I mean I fine with the floor!" I say.

"Oh my gosh just get up here silly!" Cassandra yells.

I place the pillows back onto the bed and get inside. I've never slept on a bed this comfortable in a long time. Cassandra almost immediately rolls over snuggles herself next to me. I lie there still, careful not to move. I'm afraid to touch her, she is so gentle even just the slightest touch might hurt her. I slowly pull my arm down and wrap it around her. She smiles and pulls herself in closer. Then I fall asleep.
