Chapter 2
It had been six days since Mangle met Foxy.
Foxy had tried multiple times to cheer Mangle up, but nothing seemed to work. However, on the third night, Freddy found out where Foxy had been going. Freddy banned Foxy from seeing Mangle except when they were both hunting the nightguard.
But Foxy was worried. He knew Mangle was too busy feeling bad for herself to hunt down the nightguard. Desperate, Foxy walked up to Mangle's BFF, Chi, one night.
"Are ye Chi?" Foxy asked. Chi turned around, her eyes wide. Toy Freddy had told her that the old animatronics wanted to kill the toys as much as the nightguard. Chi backed away slowly, but Foxy spoke again.
"Do ye know where Mangle is?" "Why would I tell you? Just so you can go tear her up even more?" "What? I don't want ter tear 'er up! She's 'urt, and I wanna comfort 'er, but I can only comfort 'er if she 'unts down the nightguard!" "How can I be sure that you're telling the truth?" "I swear ter god I'm not lying. Cross me heart, hope ter die, stick an axe in me eye. If I'm lyin', I'll tear meself up. Alright? Just please tell Mangle ter 'unt down the nightguard. I really wanna see 'er again."
Chi frowned and thought for a moment.
Is he lying? He said he'd tear himself up if he was, but maybe he's just over exaggerating. Well, I've never seen someone exaggerate this much for someone. It's possible he's telling the truth.
Chi nodded. "I'll tell Mangle." A smile spread across Foxy's face. "Thank ye so much."
"F-o-o-o-xy." Cried a voice from the hall. The voice was so garbled that you could barely even tell what it was saying. Then, a tall bunny walked out to Foxy.
The bunny's face was missing, and where his eyes should've been, there were glowing red dots. He had deep, dirty purple hair, and only one arm. He was 2 inches shorter than Foxy, yet 4 inches taller than Chi, who blushed the moment she saw him.
"Fr-e-ddy w-ans ou." The bunny said. Foxy nodded and walked off. The bunny glanced at Chi, and turned pink, before walking off.
"Mangle!" Chi cried, running into Kids Cove. Mangle lifted her head pitifully. "Mangle, Foxy told me to tell you that he wants to see you! But he said he can only see you when he's hunting the nightguard, so he needs you to hunt the nightguard as well!"
Mangle laid her head back down. "So that's why he stopped coming." She mumbled sadly. Chi frowned in pity. She felt so bad for Mangle. "Just go and hunt the nightguard for just one night, Mangle. Foxy sounded really desperate to see you."
Mangle looked up as Chi said that. "Really? D'ye reckon he likes me, Chi?" "I think so. He said he didn't want to hurt you, and he wanted to protect you, and he said he would tear himself up if he was lying."
Mangle smiled. "Alright, I'll hunt the nightguard. For one night. I wanna see how much Foxy wants ter see me."
Chi smiled. "That's the spirit Mangle." She said smiling, before walking out of Kids Cove.
Mangle laid her head back down and smiled weakly.
So he wants ter see me? That's good, I've never met anyone who would want ter see me as badly as he does...
And before she knew it, Mangle had dozed off peacefully, her thoughts swarming around in her head.
Do I like Foxy?
