Jay's Point of View

Jay, Kirai, and Scullscan exited the Nether portal. They had eventually found it with no more trouble.

They stepped out in Sector 48, which was a swamp. Looking around, they saw a Witch hut about fifty blocks away. Somehow, it looked slightly bigger than normal Witch huts.

"Well let's go see if the little helper is home," Jay suggested, and the three of them trudged through the swamp.

They walked up to the Witch hut. Jay knocked on the door.

They heard a lot of fumbling around inside, then the door finally opened.

A girl that was about one and a half blocks tall, (most adults and teenagers were two blocks tall), stood there. She had black hair in a ponytail, green eyes, and she wore a grey T-shirt and grey pants. She looked very athletic, and was maybe 18 years old.

"Hello," Jay said. "Are you Madge's helper?"

"That's none of your business," she said, crossing her arms.

"Well, we need to know if you can help us--" Jay started.

"I'm not helping you with anything," she interrupted.

"Well--" Jay started again, but Kirai elbowed him. "Let me handle this," she said.

"What's your name, sweetie?" Kirai asked the girl.

"First of all, I'm 18, so don't call me sweetie. Second of all, my name is Nomis," the girl answered.

"Nomis?" Jay asked. "What kinda name is--"

Scullscan elbowed him in the ribs.

"Okay, Nomis, could you help us with something?" Kirai asked as sweetly as she could.

"No." She slammed the door in their faces.

"Touchy," Kirai said. "Looks like we're gonna have to force her."

She side kicked the door, and it fell down.

Nomis looked up from across the room, surprised.

The place was a mess. There were brewing stands and potions everywhere. There were chests and ender chests, crafting tables, even a TV on the side of the room. But there was still a big empty space in the middle of the hut.

A black cat with a white face and a white stripe down the middle sat on one of the chests. Jay could see that the name tag said 'Simon'.

"Get out of my hut," Nomis said menacingly.

"First of all, this is Madge's hut," Jay pointed out. "And second of all, how are you gonna stop us?"

Suddenly, Nomis ran at Jay so fast he didn't have time to pull out a weapon. She punched him in the face twice really fast, then swept his legs out from under him. Jay fell to the floor.

Then she ran at Scullscan. He also wasn't fast enough, and soon he was on the ground too.

Kirai had had time to pull out her diamond sword. She swung at Nomis when she charged at her.

Nomis ducked and slid, and while she was sliding she kicked the sword out of Kirai's hands.

It clattered on the floor near Jay.

Nomis swung with her fist, but Kirai blocked it. They did karate and kung fu and tae-kwon-do on each other. Nomis had obviously trained with only her hands and feet.

Kirai attempted to sweep her legs out from under her, but Nomis jumped and punched Kirai in the face. Kirai tried palming her in the head, but Nomis grabbed her wrist and threw her.

This took about a minute.

"Are you quite finished?" Nomis asked.

"No," Jay said from behind her. He had his diamond axe out. He didn't want to touch the sword that had gone near him.

Nomis didn't move, but she could sense the axe poised and ready to strike.

"Now, sweetie, you're going to sit in that chair while we talk to you," Jay ordered.

Nomis did as she was told, not wanting to get her head cut off.

Jay put his axe away and went over to sit with Kirai and Scullscan.

"Alright Nomis," Jay said. "We know you are the only one who can reverse monster controlling, correct?"

Nomis's jaw dropped. "How did you know that?" she asked.

Kirai pulled out Madge's diary. "We found this by chance," she said.

Nomis's face hardened. "Okay, so what? You know my secret."

"We want you to help us take down Mojang," Jay said.

"Why should I?" Nomis asked. "Madge and I are on Mojang's side."

"Madge isn't," Kirai replied. "She said so in the diary."

"Or, you could just teach us how to undo monster controlling," Jay suggested.

"It can't be taught," Nomis snapped. "I am the only one who can reverse it."

"Then come with us," Kirai said, extending her hand.

Nomis grabbed it, then literally threw Kirai over her head.

Kirai crashed into some brewing stands.

"Alright, that's it," Jay said. "No one messes with my girl." He got out his diamond axe and stood up.

Nomis put her hands up in surrender. Jay pointed the axe at her.

"You're coming with us," he said.

All three of them were thrown out of the hut by Nomis, literally. She had charged at them with just her hands and feet, and still kicked their butts.

"We have to get her to come with us somehow," Jay said.

"Thanks, captain obvious," Kirai replied, rubbing her arm.

"Why don't we tell her what happened at Creektown?" Scullscan asked.

"She'd never believe us. We need proof," Kirai replied.

"Let's just try it," Jay said.

* * *

Jay crashed into the TV. Nomis had thrown him after explaining what had happened at Creektown and asking to come with them.

He had apparently hit the on button, because the TV turned on.

Jay gasped at what he saw.

A news reporter stood in front of a screen, which showed Mojang monsters attacking Creektown. Buildings burned and exploded. People ran away.

Jay turned around and saw Nomis, Kirai, and Scullscan watching, all with horrified looks on their faces.

He turned back around and Ruby started talking. She told about how Mojang lied, and how they are using monsters to control the world. She finished saying "Join the Resistance today!"

Then the screen changed. The news reported talked about how there have been uprisings in the cities because of the Resistance's promo. The world was turning against Mojang.

But it wasn't enough.

The screen showed Mojang attacking citizens with their monsters in "defense".

Mojang was destroying the world.

"See this, Nomis?" Jay heard Kirai say. "Mojang is evil. They have to be stopped. Come with us. Help reverse the spell."

They all looked at her expectantly.

"Fine," she said. "But I'm taking Simon with me."
