"Missy, Gibson get up we have to leave theirs a fire."I ran over them nudging them. They both quickly woke up and were looking around.

"Why did you have to wake us up I was having a great dream" Gibson complained I was gonna tell him but Missy spoke before me.

"Can't you see somethings on fire we have to leave." 

"That's right now when we get to the mouth of the den run to the right run like you never have run before," I told them they ran out of the den in the direction I told them. I ran in the same direction. When we got to the clearing I told them we were going somewhere.

" We have to go back to the pride. Come on" I said. We ran in the opposite direction not stopping till we crossed the border. I turned to them and saw the fear in their little beady eyes. Then walked tworads a large rock in the middle of the savannah. I stopped at the bottom and looked up. Gibson and Missy both sitting there shaking with freight.

"King Ashanti I have come to ask for help." I roared. Instead of the king coming down it was a younger lion. He looked very serious for some reason I recognized him but I didn't know where. Then it came to mind.

"Who are you and what do you want." He roared he was now standing right in front of me.

"It's me Ace your best friend. Come on Flame you couldn't have forgotten me that easily. Wheres the king at." I said he studied me for a little before answering.

"Oh, Ace and the king is dead. Im king now. Killed by a wolf in battle im king now and if you want I could let you join the pride." He said before rubbing his muzzle over my head. I stepped aside and he looked at me with confusion.

"I cant the other lionesses and lions won't accept me. You see Im raising a collie pup named Gibson and a Shih Tzu pup named Missy." I said the nudged them forward. Gibson showed him his little puppy teeth and then Missy did the same.

"Oh, I see well we can go see if thats true. Come along Im sure your mother will be proud to see you." He ran off and I followed when we got to the old clearing all the lions in clearing got up growled at me and the pups. Then a dark brown lioness with a black stripe on her face came up to me.

"Ace is that really you." She asked. I nodded my head and she started purring.

"Yes, mother it is me and Im a mother now," I said proudly even though I knew my mom would not approve. She looked at me.

"Wait  whos the father and are they with you."She asked I moved out of the way to let Gibson and Missy walk up.

"They had no mother or father so I took them in. Their names are Missy and Gibson. Also, I want to join the pride again." I asked her. Before she could answer another voice rang out.

"Why should we let her join. Those dog pups are gonna cause war and she tried to kill the king." A tan lioness growled others around her growled in agreement.
