Murkyspark- a pale brown she-cat with a dark ginger tail and dark ginger bands around legs, green eyes. Mother to Ripplekit (a blue-gray she-kit with pale brown paws and blind blue eyes), Petalkit (a pale brown she-kit with dark ginger ears and silver paws, yellow eyes), and Emberkit (a dark ginger tomkit with a blue-gray mask and bands on tail and legs, yellow eyes).

The four pelts in the front of the tortoiseshell she-cat were painful to see as she crouched down beside her lifeless family. Tawnysplay's green eyes were listed as she pushed her nose into her brother, Paletuft's sandy pelt. Closing her eyes as the clouded and distant yellow eyes haunted her mind. A small whimper escapes from the warrior's mouth. The rouge attack had been unexpected and brutal, and Tawnysplay's own wounds still stung from it, but they didn't pain her as much as the grief that welled inside her at her family's demise from the attack.
She could hear her Clanmates shifting in around her, and heard some murmur sorries to her as she passed. She felt a few tail tips brush her spoke but nothing stirred her from her grief.

Tawnysplay lifted herself onto stiff legs. Her green eyes were still hollow as she turned and headed for her den, trying not to glance back to where her Clanmates were heading to bury her family. With a huff and a grieved sigh, Tawnysplay collapsed into her nest and curled her gray-yellow-and-black tail over her muzzle as a fitful sleep took her in it's grips.
"Finally!" a raspy voice hissed near Tawnysplay's war and she opened her eyes, about to hiss to someone for disturbing her rest, but the hiss dried in her throat as she saw the stretching and identical trees. The forest seemed to be getting its light form the fungi on the trees. She jumped to her paws, her Tawny pelt bushing in surprise and terror. She spotted a dark ginger tortoiseshell pelt in the shadows.
"Who are you?" Tawnysplay growled, arching her back.
"I'm Mapleshade, and before you attack," the she-cat replied, her tail lashing behind her as she rolled her amber eyes, "follow me."
Tawnysplay watches for a moment as the tortoiseshell who called herself Mapleshade, her mind buzzing as the name seemed familiar. She couldn't place how though. She shook her head and followed the strange cat. Mapleshade stopped in a little clearing, and Tawnysplay could see many other pelts, dim and bloodstained like Mapleshade's, their eyes were slight with malice. She couldn't surprise the shiver, but as her eyes landed on familiar pelts she gave a yowl of dismay.
"Sandfall! Smokeflare! Paletuft! Stormsong!" She yowled the familiar names of her family, fresh grief welling in her, quickly replaced by confusion and worry. What were they doing here? This wasn't StarClan, Tawnysplay was sure.
  "Let's cut to the chase," Mapleshade growled, stepping between Tawnysplay and the variety of pelt colors that were her family. "this is the Dark Forest, we all know they don't belong here. Now, here's all you need to know. There are more warriors here than you'd think, and we're all agreed. We'll arrange a little... game. I have some enemies still alive, you have access to all of them. There are four.  Oh! How continent! Four family members? Each cat is a member of your family spared. Reuse, they all die, refuse in the middle, the remaining family dies. I'll tell you names and which family member they'll be saving. It's our choice. Your family, or some strangers?"
