Batman -02

Wally could see for the bat's face that something was wrong as he sped into the room, "Where's Rob? He was supposed to be here yesterday and he never showed." Wally knew then that Rob had gone missing again as the man's face darkened at the mention of his protege. The others walked into the room behind the speedster to listen to the Leaguer.

"That's your mission," He stated as he brought up a screen. "Robin disobeyed orders yesterday and did patrol instead of taking his needed rest. Cameras show he collapsed from exhaustion on Wayne tower in Gotham and was later taken by Shadows." The group gasped as Batman pulled up a map with a tracker, "Your job is to follow his coordinates here."

"What are you going to do?" Wally asked, knowing Robin would be disappointed Batman wouldn't be showing up himself to get him.

"Ra's al Ghul has called me out personally for a meeting that probably has to do with him taking Robin, you all are going to get him so Ra's can't use Robin as a bargaining chip," Batman said slightly annoyed as he then left for Gotham.

"Let's go, Robin has a history with the Shadows and I don't want to know what they could be doing to him," Wally said grimly and they all quickly got ready.

Wally started to regret his earlier comment as he watched his friends faces morphed into horror the closer they got, no doubt imagining what could be happening to Robin at the moment.

As they got closer they talked strategy and set up a mind link, though it was harder to do since they didn't have their hacker to get a map of the mansion headquarters they were about to enter.

Wally was the first to enter and found a spot for the team to stealthily enter (as best as possible). They then partnered up and all took a part of the area to search for their missing bird, Raquel with Artemis, M'gann with Superboy, Aqualad with Zatanna, Wally being on his own so he could go full speed.

It was an hour of searching before Wally did a double take as he studied the label on a certain door. It was a room in the nicer part of the building and no one really expected Robin to actually be there but as he stared at the stylized sign with the initials RG.

'I think I found him,' Wally said quickly over the link as he sent the mental instructions on how to get there. He tried the door, expecting it to be locked, but was surprised to find it opened easily, "Rob?"

Dick's head shot up at his name being called and was surprised to find him staring at his best friend, "Hey Walls." He smiled as he put down the book he was reading, "Close the door they took my mask." Wally confusedly complied and moved towards his friend.

"The door is unlocked and you haven't tried to get out?" Wally was starting to question if this was his friend at how casually he sat on the giant bed while reading a book.

"They took my mask and let everyone know I'm here so I can't, and they only wanted to make a deal, not one anyone will like but I really have no say," Robin shrugged as he put the book back on the bookshelf.

"Deal?" Dick sighed as he picked up some papers off the desk and gave them to the speedster who gave his friend an extra mask.

"They are photocopies so destroying them does nothing," Robin put on the mask and watched as his friends face fell as he read each line. It was then that Wally noticed that Robin was wearing a Shadow uniform.

"No-but-dude this can't happen. This is wrong," Wally stuttered as the others entered the room.

PS- None of you know what a week is apparently... (thanks to @IsabellaFarley for the ten-day reminder that sadly got lost in my notification stream). So here it is a month late.
