Harper POV-

Harper struggled against Vicious's hold on her as he carried her like old luggage. "Put me down!" She screamed, he didn't understand her and simply hissed at her. She shrunk into herself, eyes wide. Brittany cried harder.

Blue had never hissed at her, he'd given her gentle reminders not to do something. Once when she'd jumped on the bed, he'd put her in timeout. When she had colored on the table at a restaurant, he hadn't let her order dessert. (It wasn't her fault she'd been given crayons like a toddler, and her coloring sheet had been full!) Still, even realizing she had been a naughty human at times, Blue had never hissed at her.

She was quiet for a moment before she started to struggle again, this time harder. A hiss wouldn't make her stop! Her friend was crying, she needed to comfort her. And this hold was uncomfortable around her waist! She kicked out, hitting Vicious in the shin. He gasped in pain, dropping Brittany. "Run!" Harper said as she aimed another kick. The human only curled up, hugging her legs. Vicious set Harper on the ground so hard, her legs shook, and grabbed her by the shoulders, "You are a bad human!" He rasped. She  understood bad, and the tone. "And you're being mean!" She snapped, trying to pull away from the hands on her shoulders, smiling smugly as one hand pulled away, but it returned only a second later, slapping her hard across the chest. The air whooshed out of her, and a loud crack echoed through the hallway.

Tears streamed down her face and he picked her back up across the waist. He did the same to Brittany.

Harper was still and silent as she struggled to breathe. When she finally could, pain was all she felt, and stayed still hoping no more would come.

Vicious/Vil's POV-
Closing the office door, Vil threw the humans to the plush floor. The crying one crawled to the other's side. How could one slap make the first human stop struggling and turn into a crying mess like the other?
It didn't matter, the boss would set their punishment. He turned to her desk, the beautiful and cold Malphna peering over with a rare flash of her fangs. Her electric blue strips seemed to glow in happiness. "I was told sister found the pet that got away from me." She stared down at the humans. "What did they do?"

"Broke a plate of food they were supposed to give to a customer. Stupid humans." He tore the once cryer away from the one that had once struggled but now lay still on the floor. This one actually started to struggle and reach for the human on the floor.

"Interesting," the boss said, noticing the humans reactions. "Punish them together as you see fit. But that one," she pointed to the human on the floor who squeaked when it noticed her. "She nearly cost me. Had the one that bought her noticed the back room of the apartment, I would have lost the whole shipment of humans. I want her punished much more severely.

Vicious nodded, grabbing both humans again, the hurt one screaming as it was moved. Malphna stood, leaning over her desk. "She always hated when I dirtied her hair
It's shorter now, but I'm sure she still feels the same," she hissed a laugh, reaching to her discarded lunch. Grabbing some of the leftover insect mash, she smeared it into her hair.

Harper POV-

Her whole body shook. It was her. The one from before. She thought she would never have to see her again. But she did.

She lay in the floor as tones and the few words she new, paired with the pain she was already in, knowing she was in trouble and going to be punished. Brittany had tried to aid her briefly, but had been torn away, and picked up like before. When Harper had been picked up, she was offered out to the one from before, and something was wiped into her hair. She whimpered, she loved her hair, and it was just starting to resemble a short bob. Would Blue have to cut it again? She cried harder, Blue wasn't coming for her.
