Welcome to my new story involving Alvin and the Chipmunks. So, without further adieu...

The sky in Los Angeles was clear and breezy for a spring day. This particular day saw a car driving towards the local school as a male was taking his three sons to school. This man was Dave Seville and the children in question were Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.

"You all excited to go back to school after spring break?" Dave asks his boys smiling.

"Can't wait for sports!" Alvin exclaimed causing Simon and Theodore to chuckle at their older brother.

"I can't wait to get back to studies," Simon said while Alvin eyed him.

"You haven't stopped studying since we got on break," Alvin remarked smirking causing Simon to blush crossing his arms.

"S-shut up Alvin!" Simon remarked causing Theodore to giggle.

"I'm just happy to see the Chipettes again," Theodore said as Alvin and Simon nodded.

Dave smiled pulling into the parking lot just as students began pouring into the main hall of the school.

"You have a great day you three!" Dave said before driving off to work. The three chipmunks walked into their school heading to the office to get their schedules. When all the students went in with the doors closing, a lone kid soon turned from his heading place behind a tree being a chipmunk as well but his fur was a smoky gray with white stripes being uncommon in a chipmunk.

(The version of chipmunks are the ones before the 2007 movie just for reference)

"Great... This would have to be the only school in Los Angeles and they go here," the male chipmunk said before looking around before slowly walking towards the school but headed for the main entrance humming. He wore a white sweatshirt jacket and black sneakers as he listened to the bell releasing the students for home room. The chipmunk smiled slightly pushing the bell waiting for the door to open before entering the facility.

After a few seconds of revelling, the chipmunk soon headed into the office talking to the main receptionist.

"Hello," the chipmunk said as the receptionist looked at him with a smile.

"Good morning, is there something you need?" The receptionist asks as the chipmunk pulled a piece of paper from his pocket.

"I'm here to see Principal Rubin," the chipmunk said handing the note to the receptionist who read it with wide eyes.

"Of course, Mr. Alyster," the receptionist said escorting the chipmunk to the principal office with an awe look. After a single knock, a woman soon looked up at the receptionist with a smile.

"Mr. Alyster is here to see you," the receptionist as Alyster soon walked into the room smiling.

"Of course have a seat," Principal Rubin said as Alyster nodded sitting down, "So, you wish to attend our school is that right?"

"Yes ma'am," Alyster said as Rubin nodded typing on her computer looking up Alyster's credentials staring at it with wide eyes.

"At my old school, I was gifted in everything excelling in everything," Alyster explains as the principal looked at him, "Especially, music."

"I can see that... Sold out many concerts," Rubin said smiling as Alyster frowns, "But from the looks of it, you don't like the fame?"

"Yeah, I live as an introvert for many years so when I got my first concert and noticed that many people wanted to meet me," Alyster said sighing.

"It pushed you out of your comfort zone," Rubin said as Alyster nodded, "It says you don't use your last name?"

"It is a dead giveaway," Alyster said standing up unzipping the jacket revealing a white tshirt with a rainbow heart shaped stone on the front with an angelic glow.

"I remember that!" Rubin said with awe causing Alyster to chuckle zipping the shirt up.

"So I prefer my last name to remain anonymous until I can actually feel comfortable again," Alyster said as Rubin nodded understanding Alyster's request.

"Alright, I'll put you in the same classes as the other chipmunks if that can work?" Rubin said as Alyster nodded.

"That's fine," Alyster said as Rubin smiled printing out Alyster's schedule.

"I'll take you to home room," Rubin said getting up from her chair, "Welcome to East Westman school."

Alyster smiled shaking the principal's hand before walking with her to homeroom. The two have some conversation about Alyster's past as Alyster kept to himself some pieces of information.

"Alright, you wait here..." Rubin said before knocking on the door as the teacher soon got up answering the door.

"What's going on?" Brittany asks Alvin who shrugged his shoulders as the teacher eyed Alyster with a smile.

"Well hopefully he will be confortable with my homeroom," The teacher said causing Alyster to laugh.

"Hopefully..." Alyster said as Rubin patted Alyster's shoulder.

"If you have any questions or just wanna talk," Rubin said, "Don't hesitate to come by my office, please."

"Thank you," Alyster said as he and the teacher walked into the room causing everyone to go wide eyed especially the chipmunks.

"Everyone this is Alyster, who transferred here from Washington state," The teacher introduced eyeing the chipmunk who appeared to be in between Alvin's and Simon's height range, "Tell us about yourself."

Alyster's breathing slightly hitched before sighing a bit.

"I'm thirteen and by my color scheme," Alyster said, "My favorite colors are gray, black, and white. I excel in everything I do especially music."

This would cause Alvin to smirk slightly.

"Any questions?" Alyster asks as Alvin smiled.

"Yeah can we hear you sing?" Alvin asks smirking as several students nodded.

"U-uh..." Alyster froze up as the teacher frowned.

"You don't have to Alyster," The teacher said as the introverted chipmunk sighs in relief, "Alvin, don't resort to that again."

"Alright," Alvin said as Simon punched him while no one was looking, "What was that for?!"

"Can't you tell?" Simon said as Jeanette smiled.

"He's an introvert, his body screams it," Jeanette said as Alvin's face widen slightly.

"Oh shit," Alvin whispered as Alyster took the one seat available next to Simon with Alyster sighing a bit.

"Hey, I'm Simon," Simon said extending his hand out as Alyster smiled small nervously shaking Simon's hand.

"Alyster," Alyster said as Simon smiled slightly.

"With a "Y"?" Simon questioned as Alyster chuckles.

"Yeah my parents thought so," Alyster replied listening to the other students talk to one another while others listened to music. Alyster took his phone and headphones out plugging it into his phone. Then placing an earbud into his left ear going onto his music list.

"You like music too?" Simon asks as Alyster nodded smiling, "sorry about what my brother did."

"I'm right here!" Alvin said as Alyster chuckled slightly.

"It's fine Alvin," Alyster said as Alvin raised an eyebrow.

"Wait how do you know my name without asking?" Alvin asks as Alyster sighs.

"I actually knew who y'all were before coming here," Alyster admits as Alvin and his brothers as well as Brittany now listened in, "Been following the legendary Alvin and the Chipmunks and Chipettes on social media."

"So you dabble in singing and such," Brittany asks as Alyster nodded, "What is your vocal range?"

"Well rounded, except i can do bass and soprano voices fluently," Alyster said, "But being what i am makes performing in front of others very hard."

"Being an introvert?" Jeanette then questions as Alyster nods as Theodore smiled.

"Well we hope you can find comfort in hanging out with us," Theodore said holding up a fist as Alyster bumps it smiling.

"Thanks Theo," Alyster said smiling as the announcements came then a request for Alvin, Brittany and their group to report to the music hall came up.

"We better get going," Simon said as Alvin stopped him nudging over to Alyster who stared at the window listening to music.

"Hey Ms. Penelope, is it alright if Alyster came with us?" Simon asks as the teacher smiled nodding.

"Hey Alyster," Simon said touching his shoulder, "Come with us to the music hall."

"Alright," Alyster said gathering his things walking with the chipmunks towards the music hall, "What's going on?"

"Rehearsal for our Spring Concert," Brittany said as Alyster smiled slightly.

"Must be a big deal?" Alyster commented as the group nodded.

"When you're famous for singing, there's a much bigger respect towards you from everyone else," Simon said shrugging.

"Especially for you all," Alyster said entering the music hall where a human girl was waiting for them.

"Hey guys, brought the new guy with you?" The girl said noticing Alyster as the group nodded.

"Yeah, he's an introvert and we're trying to make him feel welcomed," Eleanor said as the girl nodded smiling.

"Welcome to Music, I'm Melissa," Melissa said, "Hope you can find peace with my class."

"Thanks..." Alyster said smiling now sitting down in a seat watching the group practice. Melissa began letting the group practice their song choices for the concert as Alvin and his group went with their classic "Witch Doctor" hit while the Chipettes went with Bad Romance by Lady Gaga.

After their performances, Alvin and the group walked over to Alyster who smiled the entire time even bobbing his head to the session laughing.

"You definitely like music," Alvin said as Alyster nodded staring at the stage biting his lower lip.

"Hey Melissa..." Alyster said as the teacher looked at him, "...Can you hand me a stick?"

Melissa smiled as Melissa handed Alyster a mic causing the group of chipmunks to smile.

"Gonna give us a show?" Alvin asks as Alyster sighs.

"It's been two years since I've performed... Hopefully, I'm not rusty," Alyster said walking onto the stage just as Principal Rubin came into the room checking on Alyster.

"May I watch?" Rubin asks as Alyster nodded with the chipmunks smiling.

"You got this Alyster!" Alvin and Simon cheered causing Alyster to blush in embarrassment, "Wow, gotten embarrassed from that?"

Alyster's eyes narrowed from the glasses he wore staring at Alvin.

"What was that?" Alyster said as Alvin chuckled.

"Thought you would embarrass yourself?" Alvin said as Alyster clicked his tongue rubbing his chin before walking over to the edge placing the mic on the floor now picking up an earmic eyeing Melissa.

"Check Check," Alyster said into the mic as Melissa smiled.

"You really want to see embarrassing?" Alyster then asks Alvin who smirked nodding. Alyster looked at Melissa speaking in Japanese to disguise his request as Melissa smirked slightly.

"You sure?" Melissa asks Alyster as he eyed the male chipmunks nodding.

"Yeah," Alyster replied as Alyster shook out his body nodding as Alvin and the Chipmunks rehearsal song began playing with Alyster holding his fist up. This would cause Alvin, Simon, and Theodore to shake their heads.

"He doesn't got--" Alvin started saying.

"Told the witch doctor I was in love with you
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true
And then the witch doctor, he told me what to do
He said that"

Alvin, Simon, and Theodore along with the Chipettes, Rubin, and Melissa staring at Alyster with wide eyes as Alyster had shed the jacket and glasses now wearing his t-shirt and black jeans dancing to the song before making intense isolation moves being more difficult than what the Chipmunks were used to.

"Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang...
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang

"Oh my god!" Rubin exclaims in slight awe as Alvin shook his head.

"That's not incredible," Alvin said as Simon shook his head.

"THAT'S ASTOUNDING!!!" Alvin and Simon exclaimed. Alyster smiled slightly walking towards the front of the stage before front flipping off landing on his feet walking towards Simon smirking.

"I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true
I told the witch doctor you didn't love me nice
And then the witch doctor, he gave me this advice
He said to"

Simon began jumping hearing his part being done differently higher pitched than what he does as well as the more flexing of Alyster's body to the chilled grooves.

"Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang...
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah ting tang
Walla walla, bing bang

Alyster walked towards the stage before slowly side jumping onto the stage as his eye color changes from an soft amethyst color to almost lilac purple whenever his voice changed to one of sultry.

"Now, you've been keeping love from me
Just like you were a miser
And I'll admit I wasn't very smart"

Alvin and the group began making impressed noises feeling the effect of the voice change initially.

"So I went out and found myself
A guy that's so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart"

"My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to say
My friend the witch doctor, he taught me what to do
I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you
Oh, Baby"

Alyster began dancing the end to the song now having fun causing the group to laugh clapping along to the song watching Alyster close out the song.

"Well?" Alyster asks now putting the jacket on as well as the glasses, "How was that?"

"You're the walking definition of astounding irony," Simon said, "You have an introverted lifestyle but... The way you perform... I think you just one up me and my brothers' song exponentially."

"Definitely!" Theodore said as Alyster walked down the stairs as Jeanette walked over to Alyster smiling.

"I know who really are," Jeanette said as Alyster smiled slightly.

"You do?" Alyster asks as Jeanette nods.

"Alyster Heartstone?" Jeanette questions as Alvin and his brothers looked at Alyster with wide eyes.

"You got me," Alyster said as Brittany and Eleanor exclaimed running to their bookbags grabbing their shirts that Alyster had designed rushing towards him.

"Can we have your autograph please?!" The two sisters exclaimed as Alyster was hesitant at first but nodded slightly grabbing a silver marker before writing on their shirts.

"Wait, you're THAT Alyster?!" Alvin, Simon, and Theodore exclaimed at once.

"Yeah, surprised?" Alyster asks as Alvin nodded.

"We actually followed an Alyster Heartstone on social media but all the pictures we seen," Alvin said.

"He wore a mask?" Alyster finished as Alvin nodded with Alyster walking over to his bag pulling out a mask that had the bottom part of a skull on it.

"That's the mask!!" Simon exclaimed as Alyster nodded.

"This is what I wore to help me out with my introvertedness," Alyster said as Alvin nodded.

"What are your plans for tonight?" Alvin asks, "Maybe you want to come over and hang out with us?"

"Sure, i have nothing planned," Alyster said, "And yes I'll perform if i can."

"Great!" Rubin said as she was excited causing Alyster to laugh, "Never had another chipmunk that was a solo artist but can upstage three other male chipmunks."

"Dang... Ain't that a diss," Alvin said being hurt slightly while the girls laughed, "But let's get ready for our performances."
