There was so much warmth and love that radiated in the room as the family circled around the baby girl in Agatha's arms. Nnamdi couldn't tear his eyes off his little daughter while his wife cooed along with the girl.

Chijioke maintained his sessions of teases which Obanma ignored and Kelechi hopelessly enjoyed. The glares Obanma threw at her only reformed her for minutes before she shamelessly threw herself in laughter while Chijioke babbled. It was evident that her roommate had developed a certain thing for her brother.

"She couldn't stop staring at our cousin when she came in, I bet she was still asking Obinna if he was drunk the day he delivered the message to her".

This time Nnamdi and Agatha were pulled into laughter, while subtly admonishing Chijioke for joking with Obinna's words.

"He could have come as this little girl, we can't tell. Personally I don't even believe in reincarnation but with all you've said, it seems as if the bond between the twins was quite strong" Kelechi kept her eyes on Chijioke the whole time she spoke, offering smiles that Obanma wished to smack off her face. She felt it was her weak attempt at defense against Chijioke's jokes.

Obanma placed her little finger into the baby's hand which the little girl quickly covered. A smile quickly spread across her face as the act reminded her of Onyedikachi's words. The baby opened her eyes stared at Obanma for a while, her small and pink lips slowly curving into a smile.

Obanma gasped then turned to face her aunt who bestowed a knowing smile to her.

"Adaugo's traditional marriage is next month. I've told her to visit her father but she's proven to be adamant. Circumstances haven't changed the fact that his blessings will be required. Ngozi is well, thank heavens but that is not even enough"

Chijioke and his little sister exchanged a look, while he spoke to his uncle. It had been Obanma who continued to visit Iheanyị. The girl never relented to visit occasionally even though their meeting was mostly wordless.

"I plan on visiting him, maybe I can convince Adaugo to come"

Nnamdi sat beside his wife, relieving her of bearing their child in her arms. Obanma gently extricated her finger from their cousin's palm and moved closer to where her friend sat to converse with her.

Nnamdi cuddled his daughter gently caressing her cheek with his thumb.

"Ah! Oyiri nna ya, her father's daughter "

The words had barely left his mouth before it drew everyone to laughter, including his wife who failed miserably at stifling hers.

"Uncle biko kwa, let's just let sleeping dogs lie. We all know that God has been very faithful to us. Daa Agatha has clearly won this round, all thanks to God"

Kelechi extracted powder from its container and applied it on her body. One of the signs of goodwill and celebratory purposes associated with child birth.

"My husband is a very handsome man and you all know it" Agatha chipped in as she reached out to carry her baby who was already fast asleep.

Everyone could sense the amusement laced in Agatha's voice as she spoke, she wasn't as beautiful as her elder sister but she was quite beautiful.

Her sister and mother in law were left at home while they prepared for Agatha's arrival with her baby.

Ngozi had become very fluent and mobile but she couldn't remember much about her past. Her children made sure to make her feel comfortable but Agatha could always feel their emotions wandering back to her. Agatha decided they needn't pressure her into remembering but simply to allow nature work it's wonders. Their curiosity about the letter grew but they all knew better than to let it overrule their thinking.

They were scheduled to leave the hospital in the evening after the doctors certified that both she and her baby were of good health conditions.

"They used to call Nnamdi Ukwu atu when he came to marry me"

The boisterous laughter of the occupants of the room caused the sleeping baby to wake up, while Nnamdi griped like a child, complaining of the injustice. He believed his waist was much bigger than those of chewing sticks, if they had any.

Agatha quickly scooped up her baby who Nnamdi had kept to sleep and began to pacify her by rubbing her back. When her actions failed to send the baby to sleep, she quickly extracted one of her breasts which she put into her daughter's mouth. Obanma could tell how uncomfortable Chijioke became almost immediately as he directed his eyes anywhere but on the feeding child.

Obanma's eyes stayed on the girls mouth as she suckled on Agatha's black nipple, downing the contents while her little throat moved. It made her wonder if the sensations she got from Onyedikachi's touch would feel the same, if replaced by a baby's mouth.

Agatha had told them that the girl had begun to sense certain things around her. Obanma seemed so fascinated by what went on that she began to imagine herself in the same position as Agatha with a little child suckling on her breast.

A loud vibration of her phone brought her back from her momentary trance. Her phone, she had left beside Agatha on the bed and quite close to Chijioke displayed her caller as Onyedikachi and almost immediately her heart sank in fear.

His face revealed doubts and perplexity as he stared at the object . Obanma could tell her body was already quaking out of fear and she knew she would have fumbled with words revealing what had happened between she and Onyedikachi in one heartbeat. The room suddenly became too hot when Chijioke swiped across and answered the call.

"Hello...." He paused for a while and directed his eyes toward Obanma who could feel her bladder at the edge of giving way for a hot liquid to seep out.

Kelechi gave her a reassuring look which didn't help her much as they knew how much Chijioke despised Onyedikachi. Kelechi fortunately had been filled in on the state of affairs between the family but she chose to adhere to her own beliefs.

Kelechi believed life was too short to hold onto the past and encouraged Obanma to follow her heart.

"Oh yes! She's right here, I was just helping her" Chijioke continued over the phone while Agatha glared at him.

"Would you just give the girl her phone, it's obvious it's one of her so many admirers. Look at Obanma, she looks like roasted fish" Nnamdi didn't bother to hide how amused and thoroughly entertained he was with what was going on.

A smile began to spread across Chijioke's face as he relinquished the phone to Obanma.

"Your friend is quite an entertainer" Chijioke declared taking his seat.

Obanma took a deep breath to calm her nerves as relief washed over her features. Her brother had not recognized Onyedikachi's voice or had he?

She gently placed the phone on her cheek and waited for Onyedikachi's voice.

"Am I speaking with Obanma now? If that's so just say achịcha, so that I can hand the phone over to my boss." came a feminine voice which she didn't know.

"Oh Achicha" Obanma repeated with a smile

Onyedikachi's voice came almost immediately she said the word and she appreciated his cleverness. They would have been discussing ways to keep Chijioke from killing him, had it been he hadn't taken precautions.

"How are you doing my angel? Don't say too much. I know your family members are there, even Chijioke. " He began and Obanma couldn't keep the blushes from finding their way to her face.

The only thing that helped quell her excitement were the curious faces of her uncle and aunt who couldn't help mouthing words to Chijioke to find out truly if she was speaking to a man.

"I've missed you so much, I'll be coming back very soon. I've done the major supervision here and I'll be back to see you in no time. I'm buying you so many gifts, I hope you like them. I just buy these things anytime I think of you. Mma you don't know what you're doing to me. I can't wait to visit "

"That is very nice, having a tour of the new lodge, the caretaker misses you"

His laughter drew her to laughter as well and she could imagine his lips as the sound erupted from his throat.

"You miss me too" He spoke gently this time.

"More than achịcha" came her heartfelt response

"I'll see you soon Mma, take care of yourself for me"

He didn't give her a chance to reply before his line went dead. She gently put down her phone to see very curious eyes staring at her.

"Chijioke biko help me here, you just spoke to her now"

They all laughed hysterically as the words left her mouth. She soon joined in nervously, not certain if she knew why they were laughing.

"We know it's a boy you were talking to" Nnamdi began reaching out to hold his wife. It was something he often did. It was almost impossible for him to be around his wife without touching her from time to time.

"We all know that trick Oba" Agatha began, her smile widening as she stared at her husband. The baby's eyes were shut this time, but she often suckled her mother's breast weakly.

"What trick?" Obanma replied her brows furrowing in confusion

"Your boyfriend calling you through his sister's phone to quell the suspicion" Chijioke stated flatly

"Oh... It.." Obanma stuttered embarrassingly while Kelechi chuckled

"Do you know how many times Adaugo used to help me call girls?" Chijioke added with a smirk

"I can't actually wait to meet this boyfriend of yours" Nnamdi declared rising almost immediately as the doctor stepped in.

The family left together with Kelechi and they kept hounding her about the supposed boyfriend even when she tried to refute their assumptions.

"You can't tell me a girl made you blush like that, and we'll definitely figure out if achịcha is your code for something else.
It's either you ended the call with a boy or we'd have to check your sexuality" Chijioke began as they arrived the house.

"More than achịcha... Can you imagine?" He continued

"Biko leave your sister alone Chijioke. Ozugo, when she's ready she'll tell us the truth. Just be careful nne, I don't know what men of today are becoming and I don't want to see you heartbroken. A man who hides behind his sister's phone..... It doesn't just seem to me that he's quite ready for a serious relationship "

The words were too genuine that for a moment it got Obanma really worried and tempted to tell her aunt everything.

" Does it mean I'm allowed to have a boyfriend now? " She asked quite amusingly

" Yes of course... As long as he can provide me with the latest model of range rover" Chijioke answered while his aunt playfully slapped his head.

"Look at your cousin just sleeping like it's her job to do so" Agatha declared scooping up her daughter

Nnamdi and Chijioke busied themselves with removing the items they had gone to the hospital with from the car.

"Uncle I finally found a place to use for my business. It's one of my father's lands at Umuechem. I went to inspect it last week and I think it's the best place for what I have in mind. I just have to get the papers, then my boss and I can begin"

Nnamdi gave him an approving smile before they retrieved a basket filled with baby clothes that his wife had bought in the hospital.

"Please visit your father and seek for his permission. O di mkpa and please convince your sister to do the same"

They all helped to move the items into the house as the aroma of boiling soup greeted them at the door. Obanma's mouth began to water almost immediately.

Kelechi and Obanma stepped in first followed by Chijioke, then Agatha with her baby and her finally her husband.

They met Nnamdi's mother in the living room with a baby in her arms.

Obanma meant to ask the woman questions after she greeted him but Chijioke beat her to it.

"Did mummy Clara give birth to another baby, mama? Seriously that woman should go for family planning with her husband"

Mama's expression was all the answer they needed to know that mummy Clara, a friend of the family's whom they considered a brooding mare wasn't the owner of the child.

The tension grew as Agatha finally saw the old woman with a child. Nnamdi had guilt written all over his features and fought himself from staring at his wife.

Mama was utterly disappointed in her son that was clear to everyone. She stepped forward to face him squarely.

"Nnam here is your son"

Chidogo secured her wrapper on her waist for the umpteenth time as her legs shook in anger.

Olivia and her husband were seated directly opposite her, their daughter distracted by the TV show that they didn't bother to pay attention to.

"That family is just unbearable. The land that your brother stopped those poachers from selling is the one that brat is after now!

Arinze that land is your father's and it will be over my dead body that I will allow those murderers step into it. Over my dead body! "

" Nne ozugo, I'll call Onyedikachi first thing tomorrow morning, it's hightime we took matters into our own hands. This matter has lingered long enough and I think it's time to settle it once and for all"

Olivia could only stare at her husband as his eyes darkened in anger. She knew then that the demon that slept before had been awakened.
