; nicotine
I bumped into his ex-girlfriend when it was the first month of our relationship. I was on my way to our date, and she suddenly came up to me and smiled. She was beautiful, tall, and slim. She was the kind of ex who would make you insecure by doing nothing.
"He's like nicotine, you'll get addicted."
That was what she said after asking about his condition. I had no idea what she was saying back then but now i finally realized that it was a warning. I was addicted to him— i still do. She was right. He was nicotine and suddenly i breathed for him. The warning didn't warn me anything.
"It'd be a mess if he leaves."
But now that he's gone, he's more like caffeine. He left, but he looked back for the last time— his eyes told me to drink away all the pain and i did. The warning, once again, didn't warn me anything.
He is caffeine and suddenly i live for him.
