"Make a choice now or I'll just kill Ethan." JJ growled. Josh could hear his heart about to beat out of chest.

"I-I..." Josh was about to spit out anything when,

"Surprise motherfucker!" someone yelled from behind JJ. The back door swung open. The person shot JJ in the head. "Payback is a bitch." He then dropped his gun on the ground. Ethan gasped as JJ's grip on him loosened, and he broke free. Josh couldn't believe his eyes.

"S-Simon?!" Josh stuttered. Simon just smiled at him. "What? How? No! You're dead!"

"Haha, this isn't a dream, Josh." Simon walked over JJ's dead body.

"But how are you alive?!" Josh touched Simon's face to see if he was real.

"Three words: Bullet. Proof. Vest. Oh, and fake blood." Simon lifted his shirt. "I took off the packets of blood because, you know, I sleep on my stomach and I didn't want to squish them. I had them placed on various spots. I was lucky that JJ had good aim for once and actually hit one of them. I knew you guys were here because I followed JJ the same way he did us."

"Simon you're a genius!" Josh hugged him.

"I know." Simon chuckled.

"But how did you know JJ was going to shoot you?" Josh realised this missing detail.

"When I went out on my own that one night, I was walking back when I saw JJ talking to Evie at the park." Simon explained. Josh pulled him into another hug. "Don't worry, Josh. I'm not going anywhere."

"Good. Please don't ever. I promise I won't." Josh assured.

"So everyone's alive?" Ethan spoke up. "Minus the jackass." he motioned to JJ.

"Yep. We're all safe now." Simon asserted.

"Damn, you guys really are criminal geniuses." Ethan laughed. He went over to untie Vik who was now just waking up.

"Where the hell am I?" Vik looked around. "Ah!" Vik jumped when he saw Josh and Simon.

"Vik, don't worry, they saved our lives. JJ had kidnapped you and brought you here. I can explain it all during lunch tomorrow." Ethan slung his arm around Vik. He then noticed JJ.

"Dear god. I guess you guys aren't as bad as I thought?" Vik shrugged.

"I don't think this really makes up for everything I've done in the past but maybe those petty shoplifts." Simon rounded.

"Well, Vik and I are going back to school so see ya this weekend?" Ethan proposed. Josh and Simon nodded. "Cool, bye!" Ethan waved and left with Vik who was still very lost.

"I kinda wish we could just go live normal lives now and not have to worry about this ever happening again, but then we wouldn't appreciate what little we do have." Josh analyzed.

"Hey, no risk no reward." Simon patted Josh back. "Now lets go tell Evie that she didn't get me killed."
