Josh and Simon didn't want to be loners. Those kinds of people don't know who they are, and don't have a place in this world. Josh and Simon are top level criminals. As much as they wanted everyone to know, they have to lay low. So this a frustrating point in their lives. Evie took them back upstairs and down a hall, into the final room on the left.

"I hate to compliment you but, that was pretty slick back there." she admitted.

"Glad we can see eye to eye on something." Simon leaned in close to her. She just rolled her eyes.

"And thanks for helping us out. We're in a serious rut right now." Josh spoke with gratitude.

"No problem. Just know I don't normally do these kinds of things so don't take it for granted." Evie warned. She is tough and that's what Josh loves about her. Ten minutes later, and Cal finally showed up. He had a cigarette hanging in between his lips.

"Sorry about that. Do you boys smoke?" he asked.

"Nope." Josh popped the "p".

"Hm, interesting. Oh and here's your blade." Cal handed it to Simon.

"Thanks." Simon felt a little embarrassed for leaving it down there. These are the kind of things that him and Josh are becoming rusty on. He had forgotten about his own weapon, yet they didn't forget to pick up a gun the day they escaped prison.

"So what did my sister bring you here for?" Cal asked, sitting on his bed.

"We need money. Bottom line. We're hoping you could hook us up with some sort of job?" Josh inquired.

"I definitely have some things you could help me out with... but I need to know more about you two so I know what I'm working with." Cal took a long drag on his cigarette. Josh had to think of how to explain who they are without saying too much. But quickly otherwise Cal will think they're lying.

"Long story short, we're criminals from outta state and on the run." Josh told him.

"Then what are you doing here?" Evie interjected.

"We've been running for too long now and this is the town we're stopping in." Josh answered.

"Very well. Now let's see..." Cal sat there, thinking, for a minute. "I'm also under the cop's radar. So, I need you guys to be able to do some deals for me and I'll give you a portion of my profit." he proposed. Josh licked his lips, making eye contact with Simon. That's how well they know each other; that they can practically read each other's thoughts.

"And how much is a portion?" Josh crossed his arms.

"You're smart, I like that." Cal laughed. "A third."

"Anyway we can bump that up?" Josh countered.

"Bigger the job, more the money." Cal shrugged.

"Alright so what kind of jobs would we be doing?" Josh questioned.

"Alley deals. You know, drugs, car parts, money, alcohol." Cal listed.

"What would bigger jobs be?" Josh challenged. A smirk grew on Cal's face.

"Shoplifting, theft from fellow gangs, or hitman related matters." he informed them. Once again, Josh looked at Simon for his opinion. Simon gave him a small shrug telling him to go for the bigger jobs.

"Yeah we'll do small jobs if needed but the bigger ones are more our style. What's the pay on those?" Josh checked.

"Half, two thirds." Cal estimated. Josh nodded.

"Deal." he agreed. Cal shook hands with both of them. They are going to have fun with this.

"I need you to be available whenever and I'm guessing you need a place to stay, is that correct?" Cal figured. Josh nodded. "Jamie(JME) and Joe(Weller) don't have an extra room at their place do they?" he asked Evie.

"Um, I don't think so. Even if they did they're not going to house these two." Evie guessed.

"True. Well, I have an extra room you can stay in. Lewis will just have to deal with it." Cal mumbled. "Here follow me." He led them to their room. Evie gave Josh a warm smile, which he returned.
