"Let all cats old enough to jump in battles, gather around the fallen rocks for a clan meeting!" Redstar yowled. Batpaw looked out of the Medicine den to see her father, Redstar. "We have five apprentices that need to be warriors!" He meowed. "Briarpaw, Dovepaw, Eaglepaw, Flamepaw, And Ashpaw!" He looked at the five apprentices and Batpaw purred when seeing the look on their faces. "I, Redstar leader on Pineclan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend that as full warriors!" Redstar meowed and nodded to them. "Briarpaw, Dovepaw, Eaglepaw, Flamepaw, And Ashpaw, Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and uphold the clan even at the cost of your lives?" He meowed. "I do." The five meowed together. "Than by the power of Starclan I give you your warrior names. Briarpaw from this day forward I give you you will be known as Briarfeather. Starclan honors your quick energy and kindness. And we welcome you as a full warrior of Pineclan." Redstar meowed, Briarfeather smiled. "Dovepaw from this forward you will be none as Dovespeck we honor your Bravery and swiftness we welcome you as a full warrior!" He meowed and Dovespeck purred. "Eaglepaw from this day forward you will be known Eagleflight!" He meowed as Eaglepaw huffed and looked down. "Flamepaw from this forward we welcome you as  Flamenight!" He said happily for his son and Flamenight licked his fur in embarrassment. "Ashpaw from this day forward you will be known as Ashgaze." He meowed and the clan yelled their new names. "BRAIRFEATHER! DOVESPECK! EAGLEFLIGHT! FLAMENIGHT! ASHGAZE!" The clan cheered."you guys are warriors now!" Batpaw meowed running up to the newly warriors smiling. "Thank you Batpaw." Flamenight And Ashgaze meowed to her. Batpaw was about to say more as Redstar meowed. "I also need to appoint a new deputy." Redstar meowed scanning the cats. "I say these words before Starclan, so that the spirits of Pinestar may hear and approve of my choice. He meowed and Batpaw looked at the cats wondering who he will choose. "The next deputy of Pineclan will be Berrylight!" He meowed as the clan yowled out the new deputy."

Batpaw followed her mentor. Her bright yellow eyes gleaming in the moonlight. "Mossfrost?" Batpaw meowed, "What is it Batpaw?" Mossfrost meowed. "Have you noticed that Flowershine wasn't at the gathering." She meowed. Mossfrost gasped. "No I didn't noticed. I hope she's here". he purred. And trotted over to the Moontree. Birdclaw waved hi with her tail. There you are Mossfrost! We have been waiting for you guys!" She meowed and Batpaw's mentor lashed her tail. "We aren't late are we?" Mossfrost meowed worried. Weaselpounce shook her head. "No not at all. She shrugged. Streampaw looked unsure. "Streampaw!" Batpaw ran to the blueish furred tom. "Where is Flowershine, Streampaw?" Batpaw touched noses with him. "It's Streamcloud, And Flowershine..." Batpaw's eyes grew wide. "Your full Medicine name?" Birdclaw asked in disbelief. "Flowershine seemed to expect kits. Everything went wrong." Streamcloud dipped his head. "Kits?! But she's a Medicine cat!" Weaselpounce jaw dropped in surprise. "She knew that!" Streamcloud hissed. "Knew?" Mossfrost blinked. Streamcloud faced the light brown Tom. "She dead." Streamcloud meowed. Silence filled the forest around them. And then Batpaw broke the silence. "Dead how?" She whined. "She was found in the forest. Deathberries were laying next to her mouth. She probably ate them. Their kits are nursing by a Cinderclan Queen." Streamcloud narrowed his eyes. "Who is their father do you know?" Birdclaw asked softly. "Crowpuddle." Batpaw looked up in surprise. "That black tom with the white spots on his back?" She asked him. "Yep That tom." He whispered. More silence. "Alright.... But, it's time to share tongues with Starclan." Weaselpounce mumbled. "I hope I will see Flowershine." Batpaw did know the white and gray she-cat very well. The cats crouched down next to the Moonstick putting their nose to it. She then fell asleep.

Batpaw layed in her nest, her tail laying on her nose. "Pssh!" Batpaw mumbled, turning around. "Leave me alone." She mumbled something hit her head. "Hey!" She hissed, tilting her head, than froze. She saw bright blue eyes. "Mossfrost?" She blinked. "No, follow me." The cat whispered. "How can I trust you?" Batpaw whispered back. "You can trust me, I promise." The eyes disappeared. "Come on." Batpaw grumbled and got up slowly. "Ok fine." She snuck out and followed the shadow. "Where are we?" Batpaw asked after a while. "Sit down." The cat meowed. Batpaw blinked but sat down. She then noticed how much this cat resembled Mossfrost. "I saw you with Mossfrost last night, and then I knew you where the one." The cat whispered. "The one? You know Mossfrost. Who are you?" Batpaw asked confused. The orange she-cat with white stripes blinked. "My names Star that shines brightest. "I live here in the barn. I'm Mossfrost's twin sister." The She-cat meowed. Batpaw froze. "Brother?" "Yes young one. Your mentors name was actually Moss that grows on rock but he left us. He said clan life was easier." She meowed. "You can call me Star. It's easier." She added. "I am Batpaw, Medicine cat apprentice of Pineclan." Batpaw nodded. She perked her ears. "I hear dogs barking!" Batpaw meowed. "No worries he is locked up. A baby deer (or fawn if ppl don't know what it is) pounced around and whet next the Star. "Hello young cat! I'm Jinx." She said flicking her small tail. Batpaw stared in disbelief. Than she heard a howl near her and looked to see a small gray figure running towards her happily. It's sat next to Jinx. "Is this the cat Star?" She asked looking at Batpaw. "Yes She is the one." Star meowed. The wolf nodded. "My name is Orchid." She barked her ear flicked showing a small orchid near her ear. "Young Batpaw." Orchid looked back at her. Batpaw looked down confused. Talking to prey, and danger? "There is someone else who wants to talk to you." Jinx hopped to the left. She saw a old looking snake slither over to them. "You have came young warrior." It mumbled. "It's You I've heard about you." Batpaw gasped. The snake went on a big rock looking straight at Batpaw. "My name is coil. You Batpaw if correct?" The snake's green eyes wise and old. Batpaw nodded.
