I wake up panting hard and sweating. I wipe my eyes and look over at Alexander I panic and get out of bed fast. The dream I just had I couldn't get out of my head. It kept replaying and replaying. I go to the bathroom and look at my face. I sigh as I think real hard. Am I forgiving Alexander a little too fast?

I just need a break from him honestly. Then maybe my mind will think clearly. I tip toe towards the closet and pull out a sweat shirt and some sweats. I then tip toe out the room and head over towards my old house. I make it successfully and I knock on the door. My mom opens and I smile. "Hi ma, I missed  you." She pulls me in for a hug and I smile.

"I had to get away from Alexander I just needed a break. My mom nods and smiles. "I understand Hun." I walk into the house and go to my old room and tears fall to the ground. I missed the old times. I plop down on my bed and it's the same as I left it. James opens my room door and comes running in. "Hi sissy!" He jumps on me and I wince a little. "Hi little one." I hug him and then he lays beside me.

"I'm sorry for missing your birthday I promise to buy you those Legos." He grins big and claps his hands together. After he settles down we end up falling asleep.

I'm woken by the loud banging sound on the door. My mom opens it before I can get to it and Alexander stands there with a frown everywhere. "I turned the pack upside down looking for you Valerie." Maybe if you would use your brain your common sense would tell you to check my home first.

I shake my head from my thought and he pulls me by my arm and tells my mother good day. He turns towards me and when he raises his hand I put both my hands in front of my face and close my eyes. Nothing happens so I open my eyes and he just sighs. We finally arrive to our room and he goes his opposite ways. He sits at his desk arms gets right to work while I stand there confused. Is he mad? He has no right to be mad at me.

I tip toe towards the door and open it slightly. "Where are you going?"  I stop and turn around and he's still faced towards his desk. "I'm just gonna go grab a snack." He nods and stands up. "I'm coming with you." I mentally bang my head against the wall. Doesn't he see I'm trying to stay away from him.

We walk down to the kitchen and I use a stool to grab me a granola bar from the Cabinet. He opens the cabinet again for a honeybun. We sit at the table and eat in silence. "Valerie why did you try leaving me?" I shrug my shoulders and, he sighs. "I need some fresh air." He gets up from the table and walks away.  I grunt and walk back to the room.

I grab a book from the shelf and plop onto the bed. I read and read for hours. Those hours flew by and not once did I see Alexander. I keep reading and I feel a sharp pain in my stomach. I whimper and start to scratch were it starts to burn. What is happening to me?! I stand up and sway a little. I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror at the the reddish mark on my stomach. Tears ran down my cheeks and I was completely tired of crying.

I knew what this meant. Alexander was having sex with another she wolf. More tears fall down as I slip on some shoes and I head downstairs. I exit the pack and make my way towards the woods. I hold on to the trees and whimper. The pain was coming unbearable but I had to keep going.

I had a secret hideout from when I was little. I would always go there when I was feeling down. I kept walking until I couldn't take it. I collapsed into the dirt and curled into a ball. I looked around me before my eyes closed.

Alexander pov

I had sex with two other she wolves to get my mind off of things. I won't let Valerie know. I go back to the room and she's not there. I frown and check the whole pack house. I check her house and she's not there. I let out a frustrated sigh and I catch a sent of her when the wind blows. I walk through the woods and as I'm walking I step on something. I look down and I stepped on her hand. My eyes widen and I pick her up rushing back to the pack house .
