(2 Moons Later)

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!" Fernstar yowls.

"Scorchflower! I think I'm clean enough!" Snowkit complains as Scorchflower cleans his pelt.

"Sorry, but you need to look your best for your apprenticeship." She replies. Berrykit looks out of the entrance of the nursery to see the whole clan gathering around Highrock.

"Can we go out now?" She asks her mother. Scorchflower nods. Berrykit and Snowkit run out of the nursery in excitement and sit under Highrock.

"Snowkit, Berrykit, you have reached the age of 6 moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Snowkit, from this day forward, until you earn your Warrior name, you will be known as Snowpaw," Fernstar announces. She lays her eyes on Sunheart. "Sunheart, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have been excellently trained by Tortoisestalker and I expect you to pass all you know down to Snowpaw." Sunheart walks towards his apprentice and they touch noses.

"Snowpaw! Snowpaw! Snowpaw!" The clan chants. Berrykit walks over to her brother and purrs.

"Snowpaw!" She cheers. Snowpaw purrs.

"Now Berrykit, from this day forward, until you earn your Warrior name, you will be known as Berrypaw. Cherrycloud, you are also ready for an apprentice. I hope you pass all the skills Flatstone taught you down to Berrypaw." Fernstar announces. Berrypaw touches noses with Cherrycloud.

"Berrypaw! Snowpaw! Berrypaw! Snowpaw!" The clan chants. Berrypaw circles around her brother and he purrs in amusement.

"You guys are apprentices! I can't wait until I'm an apprentice!" Stormkit exclaims.

"Yeah! Can we be made apprentices now?" Lavakit asks.

"No, not yet young one. Your only 3 moons old." Leafcloud reminds her kit.

"Aww." Stormkit's tail droops in disappointment.

"I also want to name a new warrior." Fernstar adds. Darkpaw steps up next to the two new apprentices. "I, Fernstar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn." Fernstar looks down and lays her blue eyes on Darkpaw. "Darkpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." The black tom gazed up at his leader with proudness in his ice blue eyes.

"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your Warrior name. Darkpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Darkfoot. StarClan honors your courage and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan." Fernstar announces.

"Darkfoot! Darkfoot!" The clan chants.

"Clan dismissed!" Fernstar yowls and jumps down from Highrock and the clan starts breaking apart to do their own thing. Berrypaw and Snowpaw head over to the apprentices den.

"We made one of you a nest. One of you can have Darkfoot's nest since he's in the Warriors den now." Fishpaw meows.

"Uh, not yet. I have to wait until Willowleaf moves into the elders den before I can move in." Darkfoot meows as he walks over.

"I can go get Berrypaw a nest for her then." Maplepaw suggests.

"I'll help you." Berrypaw meows.

"Nah. You can stay here and eat for a little bit. Fluffypaw and I will go get it." Maplepaw meows and he and Fluffypaw head out of camp.

"After they get back, go ahead and get some rest. We're going to explore the territory tomorrow." Cherrycloud tells Berrypaw.

"Can Snowpaw come too?" Berrypaw asks eagerly.

"That's Sunheart's decision." Cherrycloud tells her.

"I don't see why not." Sunheart mews as he pads up to the cats.

"Yay!" Snowpaw exclaims.

"Now, Maplepaw and Fluffypaw should be back. When they do get back, get some rest. Again, you'll need it." Cherrycloud instructs.
