Pinepool and Stormkit head out of camp and towards MotherMouth.

"How far away is MotherMouth?" Stormkit meows and tilts her head.

"Well, it's in WindClan territory and WindClan are not beside us." Pinepool explains.

"How long will it take to get there?" Stormkit asks.

"We won't get there until Sundown and it's Sunhigh." Pinepool meows. Stormkit nods. "So we still have a long way to go. That's why we had to take the traveling herbs." Stormkit and Pinepool continue to pad through the forest until Stormkit smells a strong stench. She wrinkles her nose in disgust.

"What is that smell?" She growls.

"The Thunder Path." Pinepool meows.

"Why does it st-"

"Stop!" Pinepool grabs Stormkit's scruff and pulls her back just as a bright silver thing with glowing yellow eyes flashes by. Stormkit freezes in horror as Pinepool places her down in the grass.

"What-what in the name of StarClan was that?!" Stormkit meows shakily.

"That was a monster. The black stuff is the Thunder Path. You never go near this place alone. And don't EVER go on the Thunder Path until there is no monster in sight. Once you see there's none coming towards you, run to the other side as fast as you can and don't stop for anything, understand?" Pinepool explains. Stormkit nods quickly. Pinepool sniffs the air. Stormkit looks down the Thunderpath and sees nothing.

"GO!" Pinepool yowls. Stormkit pelts across the Thunderpath but instantly stops. 'The ground feels so weird!' "Stormkit! Go! I told you not to stop!" Pinepool hisses and nudges her. Stormkit runs across and feels relief once she feels grass underneath her paws. She stops and starts panting. Pinepool stops next to her moments later. "What did I tell you?" Pinepool growls and sits in front of her.

"I-I panicked! I'm sorry!" Stormkit mews. Pinepool sighs.

"Alright. I understand. Come on, we need to get going." He meows.

*Time Skip*

Pinepool and Stormkit pad up to a cave. It's almost moon high.

"Now, it's going to get extremely dark and narrow. Don't freak out. Just follow my scent. We'll eventually reach the Moon Stone." Pinepool explains to the kit. Stormkit nods. The two cats enter the tunnel. Stormkit can feel the walls closing in on her, but before she knew it, there was light ahead of her and Pinepool. They both enter a huge cave where the other medicine cats are.

"Pinepool. Who's this?" A gray tabby asks and tilts her head.

"This is Stormkit. She's been helping me out for a while now and she's decided to take on the duty of a medicine cat." Pinepool introduces. Stormkit puffs her chest out.

"Awesome! You're going to love being a medicine cat!" A golden tom purrs.

"Stormkit, this is Sunpaw, Brambleheart, Springglow, and Lightningpelt." Pinepool introduces. Sunpaw is the golden tom, Brambleheart is the brown tabby, Lightingpelt is a golden tabby, and Springglow is a calico she cat.

"Now, what you have to do is crouch down in front of the Moon Stone and press your nose gently against it. After that relax and drift off to sleep, got it?" Lightningpelt instructs. Stormkit nods. She pads up and lays next to the Moon Stone and touches her nose to it, instantly feeling a cold shock. Stormkit flinches back.

"Don't flinch. Let your body settle to it." Sunpaw meows. Stormkit presses her nose against the Moon Stone for the second time, feeling the same cold shock, but tries her hardest not to flinch. The cold feeling then starts to disappear and her body adjusts to the temperature. Stormkit closes her eyes and opens them. She looks around seeing a beautiful landscape. She pads up a hill and at the top is an amazing waterfall, with cats with starry pelts playing around it. One brown cat spots Stormkit and pads up to her.

"Ahh, you must be Stormkit." The tom meows. Stormkit nods. "Do you recognize who I am?"

"You're Bramblefern!" Stormkit purrs. Bramblefern nods.

"There are responsibilities to becoming a medicine cat, you know that." He meows. Stormkit nods. "You know what the main one is?"

"To make sure that the clan is healthy and that no one is injured." Stormkit purrs proudly.

"Good job. You are a true medicine cat." Bramblefern purrs. Stormkit smiles. Bramblefern suddenly disappears and Stormkit is left alone in the starry environment. Stormkit suddenly hears a whisper sound in her ears.

"Beware of danger." Stormkit perks up. 'That sounded like Bramblefern!' She thought. Stormkit suddenly disapears and wakes up next to the Moon Stone. She looks around and sees that the rest of the medicine cats are starting to stir. Pinepool gets up and sits beside Stormkit. 

"Now, you have a decision to make, and once you pick, you cannot go back. Are you wanting to be a medicine cat, or do you want to train to be a warrior?" He asks. Stormkit thinks for a moment. 'Do I really want to devote being a medicine cat for the rest of  my life, or do I want to be a warrior?' She thought. 'I mean, I already know all the herbs that I have to use.'  Stormkit takes a deep breath.

"I-I want to be a medicine cat." She mews. The other medicine cats meow of approval around her. Pinepool nods and steps back a little.

"Stormkit, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan as a Medicine Cat?" He asks and looks into Stormkits icy blue eyes.

"It is." She blinks.

"Then come forward. Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. She has chosen the life of a Medicine Cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance to your will." Pinepool meows. He nods over towards the Moonstone, motioning for Stormkit to touch it. Stormkit turns around and touches the Moonstone with her nose. Bramblefern suddenly appears beside her and nods of approval, then fades away.

"Well, we should get going." Lightningpelt meows. 

"See ypu next gathering Stormpaw." Stormpaw smiles as Sunpaw says her new name. 'I'm officially the Medicine Cat apprentice of ThunderClan.'
