Amara's POV:

I wake to a pounding headache, looking around I see shattered glass, and then it comes back. I pulled the wheel and we wrecked.

I feel my heart beat thunder in my chest as I remember Marcus, my head whips around and I see him uncouncious. I don't let myself sigh in releif.

I try opening the door but it won't budge so I opt for climbing out of the shattered window, which I notice has a knot of my hair and blood on it.

I climb out carefully, and I stumble fall to my knees, the impact making me wince and gasp from my already battered body.

I don't hesitate to stand and make my way into the surrounding woods.

I open up my mind-link.

Thomas..

I do my best to keep my pain out but it's hard when the main source of pain is in your head.

Oh my god. Amara, baby! Are you okay? Where are you??

Thomas responds immediately. I can hear and feel his panic, but also his relief.

I don't know exactly where I am, but I wrecked his car... He's passed out... oh god Thomas, I'm scared...

I whimper, in fear and pain.

Wrecked???

He says slowly.

Yes.. He...He had a picture of you babe. Rouges surrounding you, you all bloody he said he wouldn't hurt you if I followed.. I couldn't let him, so I went. But once out of the territory he.... he lied. I got so mad I grabbed his wheel and yanked we wrecked..

I ramble out, knowing it was stupid to believe him. And relieved my mate was alive and well.

Baby, your in a friends territory! Alpha Ryder. Alpha Blayne and Akira are heading there now...

I thought over what he said, I can't simply stay here or else if he wakes he'll find me and take me...

What do I do?

I ask him, hoping he'd be able to tell me.

I've just talked to Blay, they are almost there. We're moving as quick as we can but you had a head start. Ill be there soon baby, stay strong!

I nod even though he can't see, I start moving again. Trying to sniff any other wolves scent, and I smell something faint but can't quite make it out when suddenly I scream in aganizing pain. Which must have been sent through my mate bond.

Amara?! Whats wrong???

I can't even think coherently as I feel my bones snap, and break. Reforming themselves. For a moment my vision blurs, white spots appearing. I just continued screaming, whimpering and moaning.

Thomas POV:

I felt Amaras sudden pain shoot through our bond and I was afraid, afraid Marcus had found her.

Blay? Have you found it?

I ask somewhat desperately as I run, my wolf pushing as fast as we can.

We're here! And Akira says it's her.. She's been wounded, lost blood..

He says in warning, I can't help but snap at that, where is Marcus?!

Where is Marcus? Is he in the car?

Please look goddess let him-

No.. no one is here.

My heart dropped, he's going to find her.

Blay she's in the woods, he's going after her!!

Blaynes POV:

I listen to my friend pain, and sadness. And I can't help but feel fury over Marcus. He is a dead wolf walking and it isn't only I or Thomas he should worry about.

Looking over to my mate, I see her seething but concerned at the same time as she examines the car window. I know her friend is like her sister which only makes Amara more like a sister to myself.

I'll find her Thomas.

I shut the link for now and shift. Mind-linking to Akira to stay put.

She glares at me and shifts, your nuts if you think I'll simply stay here.

I grow low but know I'm wasting time so I don't fight it. I nod to Ryder and he nods back him and his twenty wolves shifting.

I growl and launch forward, my mate by my side as we tear the wood grounds with our paws.
