Chapter 3

Mabel's POV

There was hope for my brother! If he could control himself when I was around then we could find a way to fix him without worrying about the full moon. Then Bill floated into the room and interrupted my thoughts. "Alright you meat sacks listen up! I want pine tree here to join my band of freaks! But for that he'll have to be either fully feral so I can manipulate him, or under my control so he doesn't try anything brave. So I have an item to do both of those things," Bill said holding up a silver leash leash. He made a hole in the roof of me and my brother's cage and reached in like we were fish in a pet store. Dipper looked really scared, his eyes were wide and his talk was puffed up. He ran around in circles on all fours really fast as Bill tried to catch him. Bill then snapped his fingers and my brother froze, allowing Bill to slip on the collar. When he snapped his fingers again Dipper grabbed the leash and struggled against it. It left marks on his neck and his hands were burning. Dipper screamed in pain as the silver cut into his flesh slightly. His eyes turned yellow as he shot daggers at Bill within his eyes, since the leash probably was cutting off his oxygen. Bill put his in the ground and loosened the leash a bit. My brother took in deep breaths as he tried to replenish his oxygen. He then used his claws and tried to cut the leash again. "Tsk tsk, don't you like your new accessory? I even lined the whole thing with silver so it would slowly sap your strength. Unlike the bars which only take second for you to break, this thing takes minutes. And in those few minutes it continues sapping your energy until you can't struggle anymore," Bill said as we watched his movements slow. Eventually he stopped and kept swaying a bit, like he was tired. His eyes were only half open and he kept trying to steady his breathing like he had used up all his energy, or was losing it. "That's it pine tree, you can't struggle anymore! Now let's work on getting you to turn," Bill said holding a silver baseball bat. Dipper tried to run but Bill tugged on the collar and pulled him back while burning his neck some more. He then kept hitting my brother in his rib cage again and again but got no response besides screams of pain. Bill then stopped and floated over to me. He hit me once in my leg and I screamed in pain. "M-Mabel!" Dipper cried weakly as he tried to limp over to us. He hit my other leg and I screamed again. "NO! Bill stop!" Dipper said as he got furrier. Bill then hit me in my gut and I coughed up a bit of blood. Dipper got really mad when he saw the blood. He started to transform, and he screamed in pain as his body changed. He growled and ran over to us really fast. Bill then snapped his fingers and we were both healed. "Fear, anger, and pain are the main causes of early transformation. Pine tree is more likely to transform from rage induced by others in pain more than his own suffering. These notes I took are really helping! Anyway I'm just going to use my magic now since this is going to take too long seeing that pine tree has high endurance level," Bill said snapping his fingers. Dipper started to look like his other form and then stopped. He looked normal (but still like a were cat) but his eyes looked like Bipper's still. "Dipper?" I asked watching his ears twitch in my direction. He only growled at me and then scampered over to Bill. He sat down and his tail curled contently. "Dipper get away from him!" Wendy said gripping the bars. Dipper nuzzled Bill's hand when he extended it to him. "Who's my little pine tree?" Bill cooed as my brother purred loudly. As if in response my brother mewed like a kitten. "Here's a gift. If you ever get lost, just follow the blue light. It'll also show you're now my property," Bill said snapping his fingers. A black leather collar with a blue pine tree accessory appeared on my brother's neck. Bill then floated over to us and said, "That little nerd you meat sacks knew is gone. And in his place is my little pet." He then attached the leash part to the collar and teleported away.

The second he left our cages unlocked themselves and we ran for the door. When we got there we were faced with a large drop to the ground. Luckily I came prepared with my GRAPPLING HOOK!!!! I fired and we zipped safely to the ground. "Now what? We don't have Dipper here with us," I said deflated as we tried to think of a plan. "Well we get Dipper back!" Wendy suggested and Soos agreed. "It's settled then, we just need to find some back up," I said turning to see the shack nearby. "And I think I know just the place to get some," I said running tho the shack. They followed close behind, and I knocked on the door. Grunkle Stan then opened the door and was about to hit something with his brass knuckles. He then saw it was us and rushed us inside. "I'm so glad your safe! But where's your brother?" Grunkle Stan asked looking around. "Bill turned him into a supernatural creature and we need to save him. Bill's controlling him too, he can't right his instincts so we need to save him. He's a were cat," I said quickly hoping he'd understand. He seemed to because he rallied the survivors. "We might have to fight Dipper since this is Bill we're talking about. We'll need quite a bit of silver just in case," Wendy said grabbing a baseball bat made of silver and iron. "Alright, if you say so," I said replacing the hook in my weapon of choice with one made of pure silver. We then set out after silverifying our weapons, and we got to his pyramid in a matter of minutes.

Stanford's POV

Bill turned me back to normal soon after capturing me. He told me to lower the force field, but I wouldn't do it. He then came back after disappearing for long periods of time, but the last time was the most shocking. He had Dipper on  leather leash, but that wasn't what shocked me. He had turned Dipper into a werecat! I couldn't believe it, but it was a good plan on his part. "Well sixer, looks like I don't need you to join my band of freaks. I made my own new member," Bill said as Dipper meowed. "Dipper, you have to stop listening to him! Come to your senses and save me, then we'll stop him together," I said trying to get his attention. He only looked at me curiously as Bill laughed. "Nice try sixer, you think I wouldn't account for his free will? He is under my complete control, and at the mercy of his own instincts! Watch this..." Bill said making a small mouse appear. Dipper's catlike slits dilated and he struggled against his leash to try to grab it. Bill let go of the leash and Dipper trapped the mouse under his paw. He then swallowed it whole and looked proud. I was disgusted by what Bill made him do but also fascinated. Were cats are very rare, I've only ever seen one and even that wasn't a close encounter! To see my own grand nephew become such a fascinating creature is bittersweet. Then Bill petted him and Dipper purred loudly when he scratched behind his right ear. I should document this! Such a rare opportunity shouldn't be wasted! I thought to myself. "Oh but I already have! I took detailed notes of his behavior since I came here, so there is research on his kind," Bill said reading my mind. Then his freak friends came into the room and Bill sat on his topless pyramid chair. "Hey Bill, you wanted to show us something," one said stomping inside. "Yeah! Check out my new pet!" Bill said as he floated over to Dipper and grabbed his leash. They all then walked over tho him and crowded around him. At first Dipper was nervous, but then his collar produced some static and he relaxed. They petted him and he purred loudly. "Where you get this cutie," the tall pink female asked rubbing behind his ear. "He used to be that kid I sent 8-ball and teeth to eat. Then I changed him into a werecat so he'd be easier to manipulate. It took a lot of torture, hurting his sister a bit, and even some of my magic to break him. But it was worth it, since he's been very helpful," Bill explained as they stopped petting him. Dipper then blinked and his eyes were brown and normal. "What.... What happened," Dipper asked as his dazed and confused eyes looked around. "Oops, looks like my magic wore off," Bill said about to grab him. "DIPPER RUN!" I shouted just in time. Dipper then bolted towards my cage and tackled the bars with incredible strength. They bent like straws and almost collapsed, but Bill grabbed Dipper's collar. He was red as he said, "Bad pet, you wouldn't want me to get the silver dagger would you?" Dipper's brown eyes widened with fear. The collar then gave him shock and they became yellow again. "There, but this is your only warning. Next time it happens we'll have a repeat of your first full moon," Bill said in a threatening voice. He became yellow again and put Dipper on the ground with a ball of yarn. Dipper rolled around with it like a normal cat would, occasionally glancing nervously at Bill.

After a few minutes of conversation Bill and his friends started to party, and Dipper was taking a nap near my cage. "Psst, Dipper!" I whispered trying to get his attention. He didn't respond and I sighed. Then an idea occurred and I whispered, "Pine tree, I need you to do something." At the mention of Bill's nickname for him he instantly awoke and stared at me with curious eyes. He meowed quietly and walked closer to my cage that Bill had fixed. "I need you to let me out if my cage. I want to speak with Bill," I said quietly as to not draw attention to myself. Bill couldn't hear or see us due to the wild party around us. "But he'd get really mad if you were lying to me. And I don't wanna almost die from being beaten with silver," Dipper said in barely more than a whisper. "But don't you remember me? I'm you great uncle Ford. You can trust me!" I whispered trying to persuade him. "Yeah but..." he said before his eyes glowed brighter than before. His collar was generating more static and he had a wide smile that exposed his sharp fangs. "What was it you told me to do in your journals? Oh yeah, trust no one," Dipper said about to walk towards Bill. I then realized that wasn't just any old collar and tried to think of a plan. "Wait," I said in my normal volume. He turned and I pulled a quill from my trench coat. His pupils dilated and his tail twitched slightly at the sight of it. His eyes followed it and I put it close to the bars. He made a grab for it and pushed the bars inwards slightly. I then waved it right above the lock, and he walked over to it. His eyes then turned back to how they were before and he hesitated. "I shouldn't be doing this! Bill is gonna be so mad that I made a dent in your cage!" He said paranoid and panicked. "I need to ... STRING!" he said as I used the loose thread in my turtle neck sweater sleeve and swung it above the lock. He crushed the padlock with his paw as he attempted to grab it. I smirked and swung open the cage door. Then I pulled out another quill and his eyes did the thing again. I made him follow me out the door and had him break locks along the way. We were almost home free when we were teleported back. Bill stared down at us, though he wasn't mad. "That was quite the show! I won't punish you pine tree because it was my own fault for underestimating him. Your new orders are to guard him no matter what your instincts tell you to do. Don't make your own decisions, that collar will do it for you," Bill said before he went back to partying.

Mabel's POV

We managed to storm the fortress with little to no resistance, though that just means they might all be in the same room. We then kicked open a door to find a weird scene before us. All the monsters and stuff were shocked at our entry, Grunkle Ford was in a cage and Dipper was sitting down next to the cage like a cat would. I then busted out my grappling hook and the fight started. Grunkle Stan and I ran over to our twins and broke the lock on the cage. "Come on Dipper we need to leave!" I said watching him stay put. "I can't Mabel! Bill would kill me if I left. What if he found us after we left? I don't wanna die," Dipper said as his eyes widened in fear. "You'll die if you stay! Don't you remember what Bill did to you back when you were locked in there with us?" I asked grabbing his arm. I then noticed light static coming from his collar and he grabbed my arm. His grip was tight and he had tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry Mabel," Dipper said before shoving me away. Grunkle Ford then noticed and said, "Mabel it's not Dipper. Bill's collar is making him do whatever Bill tells him to, that's why he didn't help me escape earlier. We need to remove it!" I then saw Dipper was running towards the fight. Everyone heard what my grunkle said, so they knew what had to be done. Wendy grabbed him into a choke hold but he bit her arm. "I'm sorry! But at least I can't turn people into werecats through bites unless it's the full moon," I heard Dipper say as he ran away from Wendy. She looked fine and went right back to fighting with her silver ax. He was running on all fours as he tried to help Bill. He scratched and bit people from the resistance while they were busy fighting the weirdness from the other dimension. I then grabbed Dipper's arm and Wendy tripped him. She had trouble pinning him due to werecat strength. "I see that pine tree is having a bit of trouble following orders. I'll just have to give him a little boost," Bill said snapping his fingers. My brother transformed and bolted from under Wendy. He was a lot faster now and he was stronger too. He tackled Soos and tore at his shirt. I shot him with my grappling hook and watched him instantly turn to me. He ran swiftly towards me and I barely latched on to the ceiling with my grappling hook. Then Bill shot a fireball at the rope and I fell to the ground. As I fell I heard him say, "Shooting stars sure are pretty when they fall!"

My back hurt and Dipper was right on top of me. He looked like he was going to tear me to shreds and started to tear away at my sweater. Luckily I chose to wear three of my puffiest sweaters so I had time to call for help before he could do any damage. Grunkle Stan whacked Dipper in his rib cage with the bat and he went flying. "Sorry kid but you're not about to eat your own twin," he said getting ready for another swing. Dipper looked like he was going to pounce but hesitated. I followed his gaze to the bat and saw he was scared. "Wait that actually worked," Stan said in shock. "No, Bill used to hit Dipper with a silver baseball bat and cut him with a silver dagger to punish him! He must still be scared of those things," I said watching Dipper start to take a few steps back. Stan advanced boldly and watched Dipper take even more steps back. He then broke into a full on run into the opposite direction when Stan swung at him. He then cowered in the farthest corner as the rest of the battle took place. We were winning since the other side lost one of their own defenses. Bill noticed just before the battle ended and said, "Pine tree I swear if you don't get out there and fight I'll make you suffer a hundred times worse than anything I did before!!!!!" Bill was red and furious, we all could tell. Dipper rushed from the corner and his eyes were paranoid and frightened beyond repair. He was just a blur of fur as citizens fell to the ground covered in scratches. He eventually ran out of steam and turned mostly human, but by then we were almost all down. Only Me, Wendy, Soos, Stan and Ford were left standing by the time he was done. Bill froze us in place so we couldn't interfere. "What are you waiting for? KILL THEM ALL!!!!" Bill said still red. "But you said to fight, you never said I had to kill..." Dipper said before Bill cut him off. "IT WAS IMPLIED! NOW GO KILL THE CRAZY OLD MAN FIRST!!!!" Bill screamed as Dipper scampered over to her body. He was unconscious but not dead, and Dipper got ready to bite his neck. "D-do I have to?" Dipper asked as his eyes were wide with fear and anxiety. "Do you want me to kill shooting star?" Bill asked floating close and holding blue flames to my face. I could feel myself sweating from the heat, but I couldn't stop him. "F-fine," Dipper said as he lowered his fangs to McGucket's neck. He then sank his fangs into his neck and tore out a chunk of flesh like he did with the deer. McGucket woke up instantly and tried to escape, but my brother took another bite and he went limp. He looked like he was going to throw up, but he just sat down like a cat and wiped the blood from his mouth.

Bill then took the flames away from my face and said, "Eat him." He was yellow and his voice was calm and steady. Dipper's eyes widened even more (if that was even possible) and he was about to object. His collar then shocked him hard and he fell on all fours. His breathing was heavy like he was in a lot of pain and Bill just floated there waiting. Without one word Dipper crawled over to the corpse and took a bite, then another. He kept going until we could see bone. He looked like he was going to throw up again, but Bill stopped him. "That's enough pine tree. Now go over there and sleep before your meat sack has a chance to reject the flesh you just ingested," Bill instructed as we watched Dipper walk away from the rotting body. Dipper then curled up into a tight ball, and fell asleep. Bill then said, "There's no room for heros in my world, and pine tree is no exception. I turn wannabe heros into monsters whether they want to be or not. I won't do that to you because I need something to hold over his head. I'll take you back to the shack when I'm done talking. I like watching you little uprisings and burning the resistance members that I catch. So keep 'em coming! This is my last piece of advice for all of you, especially shooting star.  Reach for the stars, it'll make it more fun when I kick you back into the dirt." We were then outside the shack after Bill snapped his fingers. All of the others were there too, even the remains of old man McGucket. We explained to everyone what happened and they were outraged. We made a new plan, a way to end this triangle's reign and get back my brother. It was risky, even Stan was having second thoughts! "Guys we need to help him out of there before there's nothing left to save!" I exclaimed after hearing the former mayor try to talk me out of it. Nothing was going to keep me form having the perfect Summer with my brother, even if it meant kicking a demon's sides to get him back!

Dipper's POV

My sanity is slowly drifting, and my heart is anything but uplifted. I ate a man's corpse and for some reason feel no remorse! Puppet strings hold me down as he carefully watches the town. Paranormal has become the norm, now I'm inside the eye of the storm! I don't know how I've survived or even how I'm still alive. Slivers of sanity are all that remain from a beast that used to be tamed. I fear I've made a great mistake! Now the road less traveled is the one I take. Gravity falls and Earth have become sky, and now I fear the beast with one eye. All that's left is an empty shell of a creature that has gone through Hell. This poem is all that is left, of the soul my chest once kept.

Bill's POV

There once was a kid with a book.

For strange creatures he did look.

Then one day in the trees,

he ran into me.

And now his sanity is lying face down in a brook.

There once was a girl with some braces,

who put a smile on everyone's faces.

Then one day,

I took her brother away.

And she's still looking in far away places.

I am evil, I know that to be true. And I added the word sanity to the limerick above because it wouldn't fit otherwise. They can be found on Tumblr on the werecat Dipper blog. I felt bad because my computer was being retarded so I am updating this book first.
