Hayden's POV:

As the next few days roll by, I notice Louis getting more distant. My mind is plagued by what could be bothering him. Yet he never talks to me about it.

In science I watch Louis secretly and see evident bags under his eyes. Thinking of asking about it, I go against my thought.

He says he's fine, but I know he's not. I just don't want to annoy him.

Sadly, as the class goes on I start feeling unwanted. Almost just like a parasite that's not wanted. My heart wrenches at the thought, but I hurry and push it away.

After class is over, Louis hurries out of class before I can catch up with him. I sigh and walk to my next class only to run into Zayn.

"Hey Hayden!" He grins, a Coke in his hand.

"Hey Zayn." I smile.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just Louis. He seems troubled about something and won't talk to me about it."

"I'm sorry to hear that, but I've noticed it to." Zayn sighs.

"It's fine, hopefully he will talk about it soon."

"Hopefully."

"Could you maybe try to talk to him about it? You're his best friend." I ask.

"I could try." He agrees, taking a sip.

"Thank you, Zayn."

"No problem, Hayden." He leans forward and gives me a friendly hug. We then part ways and head to our classes.

Nothing romantic will go on between Hayden and Zayn. Just thought I would clear that up.
