Very few people could keep up with Genji let alone fight him. He had become an asset to the Blackwatch team and to the Shimada Operation that was currently underway. Yet his sparring partner was no ordinary woman. Made of mostly metal and had a large portion of her brain removed then replaced with more hardware. She even had to share space in her head with an Ai called Athena. Yet it was her greatest advantage. "Think you can keep up today Genji." She asked a small smile of her face as she bounced on the balls of her feet with endless stamina.

They could fight for hours on end yet never reach on conclusion, they were far to equal. "Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Y/n could break him out of his she'll easily though it took her a long time for it to get that way. She made him feel alive again in a way that Y/n would never understand.

"Well so long as you miss the face I'll be okay." He laughed lightly at her comment.

"Wouldn't want to sleep on the couch." After that the small talk was over and the real fight began. The loving relationship was set aside as they circled each other. Genji knew this was a fifty fifty match.  Y/n had two great advantages, Athena could analyze his weak points but Y/n knew them all by now, and she had far more experience in her body than he did. She had already explored its limits and abilities. Yet Genji was far more agile and quick then she was. It would be his only game changer.

Y/n struck first landing a punch on his torso before kicking him back away. This cycle was what kept her balanced and prepared for what ever he threw at her. As one hour passed Genji saw for the first time ever that she was tiring. Taking this as a hint to press on he dodged her punch twisting her arm behind her back then pushed her into the padded floor of the gym. "I win." He gasped out in between pants. She shoved him off lightly holding his hand as he laid beside her.

"Finally it was getting boring after winning so much." He smacked her arm playfully as she got up full of energy. "You may have won that round but you haven't won the match!" Genji groaned peeling himself off of the floor into a fighting stance. This would be a rough afternoon for him.
