Bracken Kit stalked around Golden Kit. Suddenly behind him a dark figure jumped on him. He laughed "Night Kit ahh get off me". He pushed Night Kit off gently. "No my prey has escaped me" exclaimed Night Kit Jokingly.  Three more kits came walking carrying a dead mouse. "Reporting as ordered" the tabby kit known as Blaze Kit giggled. Morning Kit and Tawny Kit came behind Blaze Kit carrying the mouse. Bracken kit smiled " Morning Kit,Blaze Kit, Tawny Kit did you encounter anything while you were hunting". Morning Kit replied " just these to scoundrels it seems you found them as well"  Tawny Kit pointed to Golden Kit and Night Kit. Suddenly a White Kit came out from behind the Nursery. Bracken Kit remembered his mother, GoldenStreak's words. "Look Bracken Kit I know you know that Snow Kit isn't your brother or sister but you can't tell the others she herself knows not". Bracken Kit had sworn on his life not to tell the others. Night Kit chirped " Snow Kit where were you?". Suddenly their father DuskStorm came up and nudged Snow Kit away from them. Bracken Kit thought another talk I guess.  Tawny Kit slumped Bracken Kit came up and nudged him.  He knew that he was very fond of Snow Kit probably more then the others. GoldenStreak then came out of the nursery and chased after DuskStorm. Bracken Kit twitched his tail hoping the others would know to follow. he soon heard the five other kit's footsteps following. They peaked around the corner of the fallen tree. He heard Tawny Kit gasp. Bracken Kit thought oh no there goes our cover but he almost gasped himself. Duskstorm was clawing Snow kit and speaking roughly. Bracken Kit rushed over " No stop it is not her fault" he began head butting his father trying to push him away. Duskstorm looked at the six kits shocked faces. he growled then whispered into GoldenStreak's ear. She then twitched it and she whispered back. GoldenStreak picked up Snow Kit and took her to the medicine cat's den. DuskStorm sat down and curled hiss tail around his paws. Bracken Kit copied he hoped the others tried to copy as well they were going to be told something. DuskStorm then told the kits " Snow Kit is a kitty pet" he paused to spit. DuskStorm then contiued we found her welping lying against the dead body of another Kittypet, the clan voted to keep her" he growled annoyed. he then spoke to them these last words"stay away from Snow Kit".
