I walked to work this morning not wanting to bother Colby. I started the daily chores when he walked in.

"Hey Bri," he said

"Hey Colby,"

We made small talked the entire time we were getting ready.

"Oh by the way I forgot to tell you that a school group of kids is coming in later so you cannot leave be to do that myself,"

"I won't don't worry,"

"Hey baby!" A high pitch scream said

We looked towards the door and there stood Luna

"Umm we're closed at the moment,"

"But my boyfriend works here so it's fine," she cane over and hugged Colby. His back was to me and she was facing me. She dug daggers into my skin.

Luna hasn't left yet even though I told her about the loitering rule. Customers must leave within an hour. She didn't care.

Soon the school came in and Colby could keep her busy. She got angry and left because he wasn't giving her the attention she deserved.

After a hard half an hour of serving kids thy all finally left and we could sit down.

"That was intense," I breathed out

"Agreed,"

This caused us both to laugh a little.

"So hows the relationship with Luna?" I asked

"She's great. She's just so honest and a good person," he smiled a little

And it hurt me to see her doing this to him. I wanted to tell him but I didn't know if he'd believe me. And I didn't want to hurt him. Colby was just to good for that.
