I was continuing to do our daily chores when I heard the front door ring. I looked up and saw Tabitha standing there. She came in and she didn't seem drunk. She just looked like she was hiding something.

We had a dew customers come in and out but one 'customer' took us by surprise.

The bell rang and I looked up. There stood Heather. The owner of the store.

"Brielle is that you?" Heated cane up to me shocked

"Hi!" I beamed

"Oh my, I haven't seen you since you were what.. 15?"

"Yeah 15,"

"Wow,"

"BRIELLE," Tabitha stormed from the back "I have not heard you ask the customer what they'd like yet! I can't believe you still work here,"

She then looked up at the customer who was Heather. Tabitha was taken back and started apologizing immediately.

After a bit of a fight heather turned to me.

"Have you been working here this whole time?"

I nodded.

Heather smiled

"I'm so glad to see you so devoted to the store,"

"It was the first job I ever had and I love it,"

Heather looked down at her feet as smiled

"Then I've made up my mind,"

I have her a puzzling look.

"I've wanted someone who's devoted to the store to take over for me. And that someone is you Bri,"

Tabitha pushes me aside

"Actually it would be me,"

Heather yelled at Tabitha and told her otherwise. Colby was in the background watching Tabitha get what she deserved.

"Here," Heather handed me the finalized papers that she had just signed. "It's now 'Brielle's Candy Store',"

"Thank you just so much," I smiled

And at this moment I felt as if the world had changed its opinion on me. I got Colby, now I'm the owner of the store. It's all so surreal.

"Bri you did it," Colby doin me around

I smiled

"I remember when you wanted to be manager of this store so bad when we first met. And now look... you're the owner!"

"I am yeah!"

"Congrats breezy!" He kissed my forehead lightly

That moment was so happy and filled with joy.
