"Hey Bri!" Kat called from the stairs "were goin our go get ready!"

"Okay!" I called back

Luckily for me Devyn has just given me a bunch of clothes she didn't want so I didn't have to go back home to get mine. I slipped on a black and red checkered skirt and paired it with a cropped black tank top. I slipped on platformed silver shoes and tied my hair in a high ponytail.

"No way you're going out like that," Colby stopped me from leaving his room.

Because we were almost the same height regularly he had to look up a little at me.

"Why not?" I pouted

"Because you're to y'all," he laughed "you're taller than me right now,"

"So?"

"You're going to be cold,"

"I will not," I protested

"Fine but you can't complain to me when you get home that it was freezing out and that you should've worn different clothes,"

"Fine," I kissed his forehead and he shit me a death stare

"That's my thing," he whined

"I know. But I'm the tall one,"

I laughed a little before walking out to the van.

We had our usual McDonald's and then walking around after getting slushees.

"Okay so we should celebrate you owning the store," Devyn squealed

"Oooo we should," Tara said

"We should play mini golf,"

"Yeah!" Aaron agreed with Kat

"Let's do it,"

We went to a local mini golf place and we played our game. We had a lot of fun even though Tara tripped and fell into the bush. I got it on camera. Devyn ended up winning with my in a close second. Tara third, Kat fourth, and Aaron in last place.

I should've listen to Colby because it was freezing out and I regretted not bringing a hoodie or something.

We took our picture and only captioned it with a green heart.

When we got back to the traphouse I went to Colby's room. I opened the door and walked in.

"You were right," I accidentally admitted

"About?" He didn't break his faze from the phone

"It was freezing out and I'm so cold and I should've worn a hoodie,"

"Come here," he set his phone down and opened his arms. I set my bag down and walked over laying on top of him.

His arms wrapped around me and I laid my jeans sideways in his chest.

"You are so cold," he laughed

"I know!"
