"I'm so happy baby!"

Jaylen POV

  "You're phone has been going off for the past hour Jay." Malika said as I just shook my head. "I know." "You not gonna answer it?" Dion asked. "Nope." I said as I sipped my juice. Every since my mom told them about Bobby, my siblings and father have been blowing me up. This is the most action my phone has seen in a while.  "Awww man." He responded as he looked at my phone.  "Sir. Mind the business that pays you." I said as I ate my fry. "Whatever." He flagged me.

  Malika just snickered in the background.  Shortly after that, my phone finally stopped ringing. "Finally!" She yelled. "So how many medications did you have to memorize again?" She asked before taking a bite of her burger. "Well for the last test, about 35. Wasn't to hard because I had help." I smiled as the memory of me and Bobby's study flashed before me. "Uh uh. What got you smiling like that?" "Like what?" I asked confused. "Dion you saw that?" "Yea I peeped." With his eyebrow raised. "I don't know what y'all are talking about." I shrugged.

  "Yeah OK." She said as my phone vibrated again. This time though, it was Bobby. He was asking where I was. I told him that I was out with my friends and that he could pull up if he needed me for something. Guess he actually did need me because he asked for my location shortly after. "There goes that smile again." Malika said as I laughed. "What are y'all talking about?" I said as I put my phone down. "What's so funny Jay?" Dion inquired. "TT just sent me something. That's all." I laughed as I ate my food. They didn't say anything but I know they was grilling me.

  "Hey babe." Bobby said scaring me as he walked up. He kissed me on the cheek. It took me a few seconds to stifle my laughter because the looks on both of their faces were priceless."Um, Jay. Correct me if I'm wrong but did he just call you babe?" Malika said scratching her ear. "You would be correct. This is my boyfriend." I laughed as she punched me in my shoulder. "You've been keeping secrets." "Ouch I'm sorry. Let me introduce you to each other. Malika, Dion, this is Bobby." "Bobby, Dion and Malika." I said, introducing him to them individually.

  "Nice to meet you." He smiled as he kissed Malika's hand. "A gentleman. I likes." He reached his hand out to shake Dion's but he just stared at it. I kicked the shit outta him under the table. "Shit!" He said rubbing his knee as everyone looked at him like he was crazy. "Think I sprained something from practice. Sup." He said a tad dry for me. "He talks about you guys a lot and I have to personally thank you for everything you've done for him. From the bottom of my heart." He said as Malika quickly glanced at me. I nodded my head as she turned her attention back to him and smiled. "It was our pleasure. Can't lose him."

  "Can I borrow you real quick?" Dion asked as I looked at him with my eyebrow raised. "I'll be right back you two." I said to Bobby and Malika before getting up and following him. "Since when did you get a boyfriend?" Was the first thing he asked. "Since I don't know, maybe about a month ago." I shrugged. "Why didn't you tell us?" "Same reason why you didn't tell me about Katrina.  You know you was being rude to him for no reason. All he was trying to do was shake ya damn hand and you acted like he was trynna give you a deadly disease or something." I said staring at him

  "Just that I didn't think you'd be so trusting of another person after all you been though. Then on top of that to make them your boyfriend. Don't you think you're rushing it?" He asked as I pinched the bridge of my nose before speaking. I knew he was gonna do this. "Dion, just because I haven't told you about him doesn't mean he is a stranger. He literally gave me a place to stay when I ran away. Most importantly, he gave me my identity- scratch that,  my life back. That man has done so much for me that I don't know how I'd repay him. If you must know, he confessed his feelings for me when I got here. I ain't plan nothing nor was I even looking at him like that until then." I said as he nodded.

  "To answer your question, me and him already had that conversation and I even admitted to him that I was scared to even call him my boyfriend. To my surprise, he accepted and stayed patient. It wasn't until I spoke to my mom where I got comfortable with calling him that. This feeling is new to me but he hasn't shown not given me any reason to look at him differently. We've been moving at a pretty calm pace if I say so myself. I should be asking you these questions about you and Katrina." "This is not abo-" "Like hell it ain't. Judging from how she sized me up and how funny you were acting, I take it you two already fucked?" I asked with my eyebrow raised. "J-" "So that's a yes. Makes sense." I laughed. It honestly was funny seeing him getting flustered. 

  "Don't you think you're moving too fast?" I asked rewording his own question. "We've been together for almost a year now. Though I didn't initially tell her about you, I did after y'all met. She said she immediately felt like an ass and wants to apologize to you." he said as I nodded my head. "Well I appreciate that. I don't have any issues with her. As long as she treat you right." I laughed. "Well I guess I can give him a chance then. If he fucks up-" "I'll handle that. Thank you very much." I said as he laughed. "Come here." he smiled as he held his arms out. I gave him a hug. "Just like old times." he said as I smiled. We started our walk back to the table. "You must got some good dick game because now that I think about it, she was staring me down HARD." he smirked. "Make these chicks go crazy." Instant eye roll. "OK hype ass."

  I walked back to the table to Bobby and Malika laughing. "What I miss?" "We were talking about some of your embarrassing moments." She said as I turned my attention to Bobby. He held his hands up. "It just happened baby. I'm sorry." he said still laughing. "Like when you walked into the wall and smashed the whole plate of pancakes and eggs all over your face." I said laughing recalling the event. "That's not funny." he laughed. "Face felt sticky as hell for like two days." he said feeling on his face. "We got off on the wrong foot. Nice to meet you bro." Dion said as he held his hand out as Bobby shook it. "It's cool. I understand it. Nice to meet you as well." He's so understanding, one of the many reasons why I'm liking the kid. "You gonna stare at me or take your seat?" he asked as I snapped out of my little day dream. 

  I didn't even notice Dion was already back in his seat. "Watch it you." "Sorry baby." he said as I stuck my tongue out. He smirked at me. "That's a wrap." Malika clapped as we turned to her. I couldn't but laugh. "Sorry boo." I said as I kissed her on the cheek and sat in my seat. They spent most of the time interrogating Bobby, which I obliged since this is to see how much he really wants to be with me. Every once in a while though, he would smile at me. That smile, whew. "Ight, you've proven yourself. I have no further questions for you." Malika said as she went to her phone. "Yeah bruh. You good in my book. Plus you keep a smile on his face, which is all that matters." Dion said as he nodded his head. "Thanks. I'm glad to have received your approvals." "If you fuck up-" Dion started as I kicked him. "Never mind." he simply said. 

  Bobby and Malika looked a him weirdly as I laughed. "Well OK. Do you guys mind if I take your friend away now?" Bobby asked as they laughed. "Yeah that's fine. Have fun you two." she said as he grabbed my hand. "I'll see y'all later." I said walking with him. "Text us." Dion said as I nodded. "Your friends are chill. I like how they have your best interest at heart." he said as I smiled. "Yeah they do don't they. Can be a bit much sometimes but I get it." I said as I tightened my grip. Once we got in the car, he couldn't wait to kiss me. "I do to because I'm the same way when it comes to you." "Stop being so sweet." "I can't help it. One of the things you do to me." he said. Fuck this seat belt. I climbed out and got in his lap. "So fine." I said as I kissed him. We spent a good minute doing that. 

  "I'm all yours baby. All yours." he whispered before kissing me again. His hands slowly found their way up my shirt. "I hate leaving you." "Well here I am." I said as he smiled. "Come on before I do something that I shouldn't." he said as I laughed. "It's not like I was disagree with it." I said as I smirked. "Stop. Move yo." he said as I went back to my seat. "Damn near made me take you home." "I mean I haven't been to your new place anyway." I said as I shrugged. "Bet." he said as he started the car. We pulled up to this nice building. "This isn't my apartment." I said as he laughed. "I know. Welcome to our second place." he said as my eyes went wide. I love how I can say things and he'll actually do it. "Baby come on." he said said as I looked to see him already outside. I followed right behind him. 

   "This place is beautiful! You love your skylines." I said as he laughed. "Yeah and you do too." he said as I nodded my head. "I made something to eat. Pick a movie." he said as I did just that. He came back with the food as I browsed through the movies. I was conflicted between horror and comedy. I decided to go with the first one so that I could cuddle with him if I get scared. "What you choos- Oh." he said as he came and put our plates on table. We quickly said grace before eating and starting the movie. Once we finished with our food, he took care of the dishes and got comfortable  on the chair. I followed right behind him. He wrapped his arms around me. "Bae, ya phone ringing." he said as I looked down at it. It was Jade. Sighing, I answered. 

  "Hi sis." "Don't hi sis me nigga. Who is that fine chocolate god?" she said as Bobby laughed. "Back up. That's mine. Whole boyfriend right there." I said as she smiled. "Boyfriend?! Lemme see the nigga." Cory said snatching the phone from her. I paused the movie as I sat up. Here they go. "Hand him the phone and move out the way." "Boy if you-" "Jay." "He wants to talk to you." I said handing Bobby the phone." He always thinks he's my dad. "Bobby was it? What is your intentions with our brother?" he asked as I walked away. I went to get something to drink while Bobby went through another round of 21 questions. "Do you plan on marrying him?" was the question that caught my attention. "I mean it's a bit early in our relationship to be certain but yeah, I can see my self changing his last name." 

  A big ass smile was painted on my face. I had to turn around so he couldn't see my face. "You seem like cool peoples so I guess that's enough for now. Tell Jay the next time we have to keep calling him like this, I'm whooping his ass." "Will do. Talk to y'all later I guess." Bobby said as he hung up the phone. "What smiling at?" he said as walked into the room. "Oh nothing." "Nah It's something. What's up." he said walking up to me. "Uh uh." I said once I made contact with the wall. "You already keeping secrets from me. I don't like that." he said picking me up and kissing my neck. "Bobby." I groaned as my hands roamed through his hair. "Tell me and I'll stop." Like I want that to happen.         

  "You driving me crazy." he said as he put me down. "Sorry." "Don't be. I love it." he said as I laughed. "Now you gotta take a cold shower." "You coming with?" he asked with his eyebrow raised. "Come on." I said unbuttoning my shirt. He followed right behind me. It wasn't until I started the shower when he kicked me out. "In due time" he yelled. God damn it. Pouting, I waited for him to get done. Once he was, I went in and took a shower as well. "I don't have any clothes here." I said as I walked out the bathroom. "Here." he said as he handed me some. I quickly put the clothes on and headed for the couch when he grabbed my arm. "Where you think you going? Our bed is this way." he said as he picked me up and carried me to the room. He took his shirt off and cuddled up next to me. I was out like a light. 

  A Few Days Later.    

  So you're telling me I have to- see this is a lot. I put the book down and answered my phone. "Hello?" "What are you doing?" "Reading up on some things." like how to please your man. "Why? Wassup?" "You not gonna pick us  from the airport?" Cory said as I did a double take. "The what?" "The airport! We're here little bro." Jade said as I took a deep breath and threw on some clothes. I made sure to hide the book because lord knows! No I'm not planning on having sex with Bobby. I just want to make sure I'm ready when we do. "Hello?!" Jade yelled into the phone. "Yell one more time, I'll leave your ass stranded. I'm calling my lyft now." I said shaking my head. "Okey doke. See you when you get here." she said before hanging up. 

  I finished tying my shoes when my phone alerted me that the car was outside. Luckily, I made this a round trip, one less headache. I took a quick power nap along the way. "Where are you?" I asked as we pulled up to the airport. "Terminal D." I repeated that to the driver as he nodded his head. I saw her and Cory standing there looking around for me. "Hi." I said as I got out the car. They instantly broke into tears as the ran to hug me. "It's really you." Cory said as I smiled. "Yep in the flesh. Now come on before this dude pull off and take my money." I said as he laughed. "I really missed you kiddo." Jade said as I grabbed her bag. "We riding in style too. Love it." she said as she looked at the car. 

  They both held my hands in while we were on the way back. "How long are you here for?" "A week." they both answered. "What made y'all come here?" "Well my birthday is this weekend and what better way than to spend it with my baby brother?" she said as I smiled. We made more small talk as rode. "Oooooo this is your apartment building?" Jade said as we got out. "Yeah. I managed to snag it at the last minute. Come on." I said leading them to the elevator. "Bro this shit is tight!" Cory said as soon as I opened the door. "Thank you. Luckily I have an extra bedroom. Who's gonna sleep in it, that's up to y'all." I shrugged. "Oh that'll be me." Jade said as I looked at Cory. "I mean I don't have a problem with it. I get the sectional. It looks comfy any way." he said walking in the room to sit his bags. 

  "Well I'm going to take a nap. I would assume y'all are gonna take one too because that flight was mad long." I said walking to my room. As soon as I was starting to get deep into my sleep, I felt my bed dip. "Don't be annoying y'all. I'm too tired." "Well I can go if you want me to." that familiar voice said. "No. You stay." I said as I wrapped his arm around me. "They let me in but I can see that everyone is tired." Bobby said as I nodded my head and cuddled up to him. 

  "Get yo ass up." Jade said shaking me awake. "Jade move." I groaned as I tried to cuddled back up with Bobby. Key word tried. The spot where he was laying was empty. I slowly opened my eyes to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me. Sure enough, he wasn't there. "Come on little bro. We're going out for lunch." Cory said as he walked in my room. Groaning, I got up and sat up on the bed.

  "Y'all just better be treating me too."
