Today is Saturday. I put on a black skirt and a pretty white shirt, black shoes and silver earrings. I didn't want to look too casual or too dressy. My Mum drove me to the shops.
"Ok darling, have fun! Just text me when you're ready for me to pick you up."
"Ok, thanks Mum! Bye!" I waved and then walked to meet Austin.
I spotted him by the smoothie store.
"Hey Austin!"
"Hey Stella!" He grinned and we went to order our smoothies.
I had mango and Austin had orange.
They were pretty yummy.
Austin and I talked for a while and then he said that it was getting late and that we should probably go home. I agreed.
"Thanks Austin! This afternoon has been fun." I smiled.
"Yep, we should do it again sometime." He winked at me as we said goodbye.
My Mum pulled up in the car park a few minutes later. I told her about what we had done as we drove home.
