Mars
Pain erupted in my leg. God, I'm praying please don't let Felicity be hurt. My father shot me. My father shot me. He shot me. That man shot me.
Felicity and I were escaping though. For the last three years of my life, I had spent them getting to this moment: to rescue my sister. Felicity and I had been captured in my father's building and we had finally figured out how to get off Earth and to planet Neptune. Now, using teleportation Felicity and I were on our way to planet Neptune, to rescue my sister, Neptune.
Yeah. I have a sister named after a planet. Neptune. Hey, Mars is a planet too, and that's my name. My parents just really like outer space. They like it so much they turned us into test subjects for their experiments up in space. That's how Neptune ended up on the planet she was named for.
The blue light around us disappeared all at once, and our thirty second trip to Neptune was over.
"Who are you and what are you doing on our kitchen table?" A voice asked. I tightened my grip on Felicity, all of a sudden I wish I had kept that gun Dally had given me in my hands before this whole thing started. The gun was in my backpack along with Felicity's with both of the safety switches put on. Felicity struggled to get out of the grip of my arms. I held her tighter and squeezed her. She wasn't leaving until I knew they wouldn't pull a weapon out.
"Are you the RubyX5 crew?" I asked them.
"Maybe we are maybe we aren't. Now who are you and why are you on our table?" The same voice said. I studied the boy that was firing words at us. He couldn't be much older than I was, a year or two older at most. He had brown hair and light brown eyes. His arm was in front of another girl, a girl with the same brown hair and darker brown eyes. I glanced between them, noticing the similarities between the two kids. They must be siblings, or at least related in some way. Felicity struggled out of my grasp and I let go of her slowly. I slowly slipped the backpack from my back and unzipped it slowly. "STOP." The same voice said. I froze. Where's Neptune?
"I'm Mars. I'm Neptune's brother. Now where is she?" I asked as calmly as possible.
"I TOLD YA RATS! I TOLD YA WE SHOULDNT HAVE GIVEN HER UP FOR CHOW! YOU IDIOTS!" Another figure shouted at the one who spoke first.
"Knock him out." The first figure said calmly. A girl threw a black sort of rock, and almost like a paintball it exploded on his neck. Instantly the figure that had been shouting dropped to the floor, where I was hoping he wasn't cold dead.
"What do you want Mars." The first figure snapped. "Neptune isn't here. We sold her. She's gone. Off this planet." He said. I felt like I had been shot. Believe me I know how it feels, I still have a bullet in my leg that was numb from pain.
"You idiot." I stated before I lashed out on him and ruined his face.
