「 Yaoyorozu's POV 」

As the sun rose over the horizon, Yaoyorozu could feel something shaking her around in her sleep. She let out a tired groan and opened one eye, all she could make out was something white and fuzzy, eventually, reality set in with her and she noticed the little girl that she had taken in from the streets. Her piercing red eyes met Yaoyorozu's own, jet black ones. It was just then that she noticed the frown that was spread over the girls lips. She quickly sat up and coughed a bit,

❝ Himari.. What's wrong? ❞ Yaoyorozu's voice was thick and tired from just having been torn from her sleep. Her long, raven coloured hair was like a birds-nest, only the most determined of people could get through that mess with a good enough hairbrush.

❝ Food! I'm hungry! ❞ Himari replied, she puffed up her cheeks and looked annoyed, mostly since she needed food right in the moment and she didn't exactly want to wait for Yaoyorozu to wake up properly, she had tried to wake up the male in the household, but Todoroki was practically passed out on the couch, it was almost impossible to wake him up at this hour, and Himari had tried for about 10 minutes with that little issue.

Yaoyorozu let out a sigh and got up, she tried to correct her hair but quickly came to the conclusion that that was a mission impossible.

She picked up the young girl and navigated out to the kitchen, she stopped in the hallway and looked over at Todoroki who was fast asleep, the two colours of his hair were mixed up in eachother and he was snoring softly. Yaoyorozu could feel a blush spreading over her cheeks, she looked away and sped into the kitchen, placing Himari down on a chair and then started to look through the kitchen in search for something that she could make into an acceptable dish for Himari to eat.

Yaoyorozu, after maybe 5 minutes of searching found everything she needed to make breakfast. In reality, it was the simplest thing you could think of for breakfast, sandwiches. 

Despite its simplicity, Himari seemed to enjoy every bite of it when it was served to her. Yaoyorozu let out a sigh of relief and sat down by the table, listening to the distant snores of Todoroki on the couch. She would really need to pay him back somehow for letting them stay in his house for the time being. He really was a kind soul, maybe a bit too kind when it came to these things.. Or he was just too much of an airhead to realize what sort of boundaries would be set in place for a normal human being, at least that's what came to Yaoyorozou's tired brain in the moment.

She heard the meowing of one of Todoroki's cats, she knew that he liked cats, but she hadn't really expected him to get 3 cats so soon- Though, was it really considered soon? She wasn't quite sure herself. She didn't know for how long he had had those cats. Though, she was quickly torn from her thoughts as she felt Mitsuru rub his cheek against her leg, she looked down at the ragdoll cat and smiled softly. She reached down and gently scratched underneath the cat's chin, listening to the pleased purrs that came from the little feline.

Himari eventually finished her food and hopped down from the chair, she wanted to brush Yaoyorozu's hair, which she agreed to, she got up as well, walking to get her hairbrush. When she had retrieved the item, she walked back to the kitchen and sat down on the floor in front of a chair, letting Himari sit behind her and start to brush her hair while Mitsuru laid beside her, wanting to be pet and scratched as she sat there, which Yaoyorozu did without hesitation.

「 Todoroki's POV 」

Todoroki only woke up when the sun was blasting through the window. He opened his eyes and stared up at the ceiling, experiencing those just woke up-delusions, he wondered why he was on the couch and not in his bed. He faintly remembered Yaoyorozu coming to him with a child? That must have been a dream, right? The conversations that they had had were completely out of the question for him. He didn't remember anything of that. He sat up and heard the meowing of his cats, he needed to feed them. He suddenly felt the smell of food, he raised an eyebrow and stood up, walking into the kitchen where he was met by Yaoyorozu, she stood with her back turned to him, cooking, meanwhile, Himari was playing around with Ayame, the racing munchkin cat.

❝ Yaoyorozu - ❞ Todoroki managed to choke out, when he saw her turn around to face him with a soft smile on her lips, it made him blush slightly. All these feelings coming rushing back at him. The world he had explored with her once, they all came back at him again. Things that he regretted were all clouding around him, he wanted to get down on his knees to apologize for everything wrong he had done in their previous relationship, but he couldn't. Not now when he saw how happy she was, or was she happy? Was it just an act..? 

❝ Ah! Todoroki, welcome to concioussness! ❞ She joked, it was like nothing had happened between them, he was sure that this had to be an act. She couldn't have gotten over him so soon, could she? He sure as hell wasn't over her. He had just wanted her back in his arms, he just wanted her to be his again, but he knew that that was most likely not going to happen.

❝ Oh - Thank you. Uh, what are you making..? ❞ He asked, walking up to take a peek at what was in the frying pan.

❝ Bacon and eggs - It was all I could find that I know is fast to make - ❞ Yaoyorozu replied, a slight blush spreading over her cheeks from how close he had gotten to her. She scooted away a bit which made Todoroki react.

❝ Ah - Sorry if I made it uncomfortable - ❞ He quickly apologized and ran a hand through his oddly coloured hair, he stepped back and almost fell because of Mochi standing right behind him. He stumbled a bit and watched the Tabby Cat hop up on a counter, he let out a loud sigh and sat down by the table.
❝ I hope cooking isn't too much of a trouble for you, Yaoyorozu.. ❞ He murmured, looking out the window.

❝ No no! Not at all! I figured that I had to repay your hospitality somehow.. ❞ She sighed, putting a plate full with food in front of him and one for herself and one for Himari who was still hungry, somehow.

Todoroki let out a sigh, he thanked for the food and started to eat from the plate, it was delicious to say the least. He let out a loud sigh, wondering how he was going to win her back, if that was even an option.
