Chapter 4- Two Voices

The rain pour down heavily upon Michael as he tries to phone a tow truck but to his luck, his phone had no service. By this time, it started to get dark. The sound of a car coming to a stop before his car sent him into a mini praise. He had no idea who it might be but that didn't stop him from running to the car.

Lily sat patiently in her car, desperately trying to calm her glitching nerves. Michael knocked on her car window causing her head to snap towards him. She wind her window down allowing some of the rain to get in her car.

"Ms. Flinn? Oh thank the heaven it's you. You mind giving me a life to my place?" He asked, he was drench she realized. Could ruin her car seat but she shakes her head stiffly. Michael smiled in joy, joy of getting out of this bad weather, hoping he doesn't catch a cold.

He slammed the door shut once he was in the car, "Thank you so much Ms. Flinn your a life saver." He took his jacket off leaving him in only his white dress shirt was only soaked at the front. Lilly took a glance at him and her eyes zoomed in at the red lipstick stain on his neck and his shirt collar.

'I bet it was that bitch Lydia.' she thought clenching the staring while tightly.

Lily started her car and started to drive, by this time she felt normal, no glitching feeling so she started to build a normal conversation.

"Sooo, boss. Busy night?" She asked nicely.

He chuckled a bit, "you could say that." His mind going back to his wild love making. "But the big question is why are you out so late, shouldn't you be at home?"

At this point Michael had no clue that he was the reason. Even though he doesn't remember her asking him out or any intention of ever going to that restaurant with her.

"I made a reservation for a guy but he didn't show." She said staring ahead.

"Wow, that's rough." She said looking at her side profile before looking back to the road.

"Indeed. It was at the Li Chung restaurant too." At this his body stiffen.

'...its at your favorite diner down town...' he remembered her saying.

"Oh." The car fell into silence before he spoke again. "Umm. Ms. Flinn you've miss my turn." He said looking back.

Lily knew that she had miss the turn. She did it on purpose. She only wanted to spend more time with. Even if it meant to drive the long way. But the only problem is that Lily was not thinking straight. In fact her mind was blank and a blank minded Lily was no good, especially when off her medz.

The pebbles cling the bottom of the car while the dirt crunch beneath the tires.

"Look out!" Michael shouted, once he turned to face the front again but it was already too late. The car had already hit the animal causing it to break through the wind shield.

Michael shrieked, startled as the car came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the read.

"What the hell!" He shouted, panting out of breath.

"Please, I beg you just end my suffering" the deer she now realized spoke. "Please."

"Ok." She said quickly searching through her glove compartment for her knife.

"What are you looking for?" Asked Michael.

"Pleaasssseee!" The deer cried out to her in agony.

"My knife." Just then she found it and in a flash she cut the deers throat. Its blood splashing everywhere, even in Michael's face causing him to scream out in shock. He felt as if he was about to faint.

"Oh my God your crazy!" With that he jumped from the car and began to ran.

"Michael wait!" Lily exclaimed and she too jumped from the car. For a girl her size she was quit a fast runner, gaining on him. Micheal saw this and instead of running straight he turned and ran through the forest. But he didn't make it to far before he tripped over a tree root.

Lily wasn't far behind for as soon as Michael turned over to his back she too fell on him. Causing the knife she was still holding to plunge in his chest.

They both was shock until Michael started to plead with her.
"Please, help me. I don't want to die."

"Shhhh." Lily shushed him. "Your going to be alright. She then pull the knife from his chest causing him to gasp. The blood running more freely from his chest. Michael saw a change in her. Something she hid well. Something, evil. He knew he was near his death but that didn't stop his plea for help

"P..p...please. Don't do this. P..please I.. beg..g you." Micheal was begging.

But what lily heard and saw was different. "Thank you lily. You make me really happy. Thank you." With a smile on his face. That was what lily saw and heard. So with the she plunge the knife in his chest again and again and again while repeating how she loves him, he's going to be okay and how everything will be alright. She watch as the life slowly left faded from his eyes.

As if splash by ice cold water, her eyes grew wide. Panicked she felt. She got up from the ground and ran to her car. The deer was still stuck in her car windshield so she pulled it out and drove home.

She got home in record time, tears rolling down her face as she sat in her couch holding her head. " I-I killed him. I killed my boss."

Her cat, Pooche jumped on the couch beside her. "I should- I should go to the police. Tell them what I've done."

"Are you a f*cking  idiot!" Pooche snapped at her. "Do you want to go to jail?"

"No." Lily's answered like a child being scold by her mother. "If-if I go to jail who's going to talk care of you?" She sniffled thinking about it but her mind when back to her boss who she had left in the forest.

"Exactly. She my advice to you is, you're going to go back for the body and get rid of it."

Lily had never done that before. She had no clue as to get rid of a body. "What do you suggest Pooche? Bring the body here?" She asked dumbly looking around.

"You can't bring the body here you dipshit! Have you no brain? Just get rid of your mess." And with that Pooche jumped from the couch and left.

Lily went back to the site and the body was just laying there. looking so beautiful, so peaceful with that smile on her face. It took her several hours to decapitate the body, placing it in her trunk and driving to the cliff near the forest. she opened the bag and started at the face of the man she once loved. And so she decided to keep the head.

She drove back home and placed the head of the once young bachelor, Michael Lawson in her fridge. That night, Lily dreamt of her past life.

**

Lily drag her feet to the fridge, and once she opened it, there Michael face stared angrily upon her.

"Look what you did to me Lily!!! You killed me!!" Michael said.

"I-I I didn't mean to. You looked so peaceful then." She bowed her head out of shame.

"What! I should just fire you right this moment." Shouted Michael. "You should take your pills Lily."

But Lily didn't want to listen, "Take your pills Lily!"

"Ok, ok. I will." And she did. That morning before she went to work she went to the car wash down town. It was really early so there was no one in sight. Or so she thought.

Per occupied by cleaning the blood from her car she didn't see the police car that stop by her.

"Quit a mess you got there Lily."

Work was hectic the past four days, staff members where starting to murmur on about there boss not coming in.

'this is unusual.' one girl said.

'maybe he's just sick.' another commented.

It didn't help when that bitch, as what Lily would refer to her as, Lydia showed up demanding to see him. Another day past when his father reported him missing.

The whole media blew up. Women that he have slept with started to cry, being all dramatic.

"Hi." A girl with gray eyes and short shoulder lengths black hair spoke.

Lily turned in her direction, "hi." She said awkwardly.

"You where his secretary right?"

"Yep. Who are you?" Lily asked finally taking notice of her. She was actually beautiful.

"Just a colleague. I'm Amanda" Lily nodded, drifting her attention to the man on the news. "I've been watching you you know."

Lily's body tense at her words. Could she have known what she did Lily thought. She slowly turned to her.

"I don't want to seem weird or trying to pry but I know about your past."

"Oh." That was all she could say.

"Look, I know you're probably devastated about what happened to our boss so I want to take you out."

"As friends!" She quickly corrected when Lily raised an eyebrow at her. But what Lily didn't know was that she wanted to be more than friends with her.

"Ok. Tonight?"

"Yes!" She beamed with too much excitement. "I mean yes." She cleared her throat.

They both went there separate ways after exchanging information, but Amanda had more pep in her step.

If only she new.
