her.
her;
"You make me wanna throw this shoe
right through that concrete wall."

"Mom," I looked up at her, her eyes blinking nervously back at me. "he needs to go home."
"Let the young man speak for himself, Anne." she shook her head at me, staring back at the tall figure who stood before us.
"Anna." I muttered under my breath before looking at the gold hinges in the wall. My mother must've not heard due to her bad hearing and began to talk right again to Lucas.
"Now, Lucas, right?" she asked, stitching her eyebrows together in reassurance. Luke nodded his head in response and awaited for her to finish. "Do you have to be somewhere?"
That's when his eyes trailed to me, mine mocking. I flared my nostrils at the sight of a smirk placed on his lips. And let's be honest here, smirks on boys were never a positive thing.
"Well, Ma'am, I would love to taste your roasted chicken and I wouldn't see why not my mother could hold herself for a little." he smiled deviously at me before looking back at my mother. My mother fluttered her lashes at me before grabbing a hold of my arm and pulling me back with her.
"Anna, he's a guest. Be nice or I'll take away your phone."
"Take away my life while your at it." mumbled Maddie from behind us. She walked down the stairs and walked her way into the kitchen.
I followed her as my mother helped Lucas into the house. Which I totally didn't understand due to the fact my mother hates me to have any contact with boys. I was still honestly trying to detach myself from him. I tried to escape the thoughts that laid upon the nights air and the words that whispered into my ear.
I'm getting better too. It's seems that he doesn't even acknowledge my actions anymore, which he never did, but it seemed more easier to let go when he wasn't staring directly at me. As he was as I spun myself on my heels.
"Take a picture, it lasts longer." I stated, blinking deadly towards him.
"There would be only one use for that hun." He winked at me before Maddie walked into the living room.
"Listen," she started, licking her black lipstick slightly off her lips, "if you guys do anything, and I hear, I'm burning the house down." Maddie walked away with a death glare and traveled up the stairs.
"Would she really?" Lucas questioned sarcastically shaking his head.
"Knowing Maddie, yes." I mumbled back to him, "And I would've done the same if I knew you were visiting.
"Your mother invited me in."
"And you allowed it."
"I couldn't resist the glare."
"I'm so tempted to slaughter you right now."
"At 3 in the afternoon, isn't that a bit too early?"
"Never too early for murder, hun." I tossed myself on to the couch and turned the television on. The stereo began to blast through a young ladies voice. The image of her figure slowly appearing itself in.
"And next week, Gillian's Records is going to try to find the next 'punk rock' band. Choosing 4 people out of them to tour around the world and make an album for a worldwide hit. The producer announced to be looking around the ages of 16 to 19, wanting a young, fresh band to begin with. Do you think you have a chance? Well nice voices, guitar playing boys will definitely have a chance he commented." Changing the channel, I listened along to Lucas humming in the corner. He was looking into the mirror, running his hands through his hair.
"You break it, you're paying for it." I snickered, taking a sip from the drink besides me.
"Surprised it hasn't broken already."
"Shut up." I spat back, knowing afterwards how stupid my 'comeback' was. I watched out of the corner of my eye Luke roll his eyes and sit himself in the chair besides the couch. He rocked himself back and forth, the tip of his converse bouncing up and down off the floor.
"Anna!" my mother shouted from the kitchen. I let out a heavy, unjustified sigh as I sat myself up and steped my way to the kitchen. My mother was fanning her sparkly, pink mitt around the smokey stove. She was bug eyed when she faced me. "I need help."
"I told you to just get take-out." I shouted over the smoke detector before grabbing the fire extinguisher. Taking a hold of the nosil, I sprayed the solution towards the stove. My mother ran towards the fire alarm and hit the battery locator with the tip of a broom. Lucas ran into the room as well with a confused facial expression.
"Thank god for you." my mother sighed as she pulled out a chair from the dining table. She sat herself down and stuffed her head into her hands. "I hope you like pizza, Lucas."
Luke let out a small chuckle, "Pizza is perfect."
My mother rose her head and smiled up at him. He smiled back, even though it was small and showed only his lips it was a smile.
"I'll order the pizza. You take Lucas upstairs, show him around. I have a big feeling he'll be around more often." she smiled at me before grabbing the phone and walking towards the fridge, where multiple pictures and magnets laid.
I looked up to Luke who was currently rocking back and forth on his feet.
"I'm gonna guess your room is bright pink and your sheets are zebra."
"Just because your room looks like that, doesn't mean mine does."
I rolled my eyes to the side before pushing past him. Hours were about to roll by and I didn't know what laid upon them.
But it was nothing as I would of ever guessed.
