          chance like this."

        - Plump, Don't Deserve You

"Hey," I shouted over top of the music while tapping the small figure in front of me. "let's get out of here."

"Why?" she giggled, curious in my hesitant answers.

"Because." I answered taking a hold of her hand in mine. The lights flashed on our face as people screamed and if you looked close enough, she was turning red again. I smiled down at her yet she kept her head down and leaded her out of the mob of people. Suzan, I think was her name, was leant up against the booth watching the concert from a far. Anna waved at her before we walked around the stage.

No more words were spoken until the music blasting out of the stereo's were mumbled lyrics. We sat on this rock that was out in the open. People had came here before due to different names and nicknames carved into the worn out solid of nature. But the one thing that I kept having written on my head was that I was the first one to move. Grab her hand, talk to her, fall in love. And let me tell you, the restless nights would've been a lot better with her by my side then in my head.

"May I ask you a question, Lucas?" she murmured as we looked up at the stars. I nodded my head and looked towards her. The crescent moon's light hit her perfectly, every angle showing. "Why me?"

"What?" I asked, a little bit of a laugh coughing up.

"Why do you hang out with me? There are so many other girls, your type as well."

"How would you know what my 'type' is?"

"I'm certainly not it." she stuttered, looking away from me.

"What if I said you were?"

"Then you'd be certainly lying, Mr. Hemmings."

"But all I do is the truth, Honey." I smiled at her, making it was reassuring enough for her to recognize that she was the one I wanted. But she shook her head and laughed.

"You're lying again." she teased, sliding her hand away from mine. I looked down at my now lonely hand and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Can I ask you something myself?" I asked crawling my hand to my lap.

"If it's about me liking you --"

"No, I kinda of connected two and two together." her mouth made an 'oh' shape, her cheeks turning red a little bit. "I have a serious question and you can't answer with a maybe. It's a yes or no question, you got it."

"Stubborn are we?" she sarcastically questioned. I looked up to her and grabbed her chin with my hand. Her facial expression read that she was currently confused.

"Can I kiss you?" I asked, her eyes going wide in the process.

       "Is that a joke or.."

"I'm serious." I nervously bit attacked at my lip ring, awaiting for her to answer.

       "I --"

"Hey, you two kids!" someone shouted from a far, cutting off Anna. We both looked away from each other to find an elder man, a pistol in hand. "What are you doing on my property?"

"Run!" I shouted grabbing Anna's wrist and shooting off the rock. Dodging the low branches and other items that poked out from the ground, we ended up on a pathway. Looking back, Anna looked terrified. The man shot his gun up in the air as he chased after us. As soon as I saw him aim the gun towards us, I threw my hands over Anna. "Duck!"

The bullet brushed through my hair and with that, I shot up and ran off the path. The old man chased after us, Anna moved her hand to my elbow, her nails scratching at my skin. I flinched in pain, but only a tad.

Reality really buzzed through when we met a cliff. A gasp left Anna's throat as I pulled her back from diving into the ice cold water below. The waterfall lit up with the moon light's shadow. Waves drowned under bigger waves and the waterfall seemed to cackle away at the sight.

Another gun shot went off and Anna was terrified. And with that, there was only one decision.

"Screw it." I muttered wrapping my arm around her waist. The water rushed us under and it was cold as hell. Well not technically since hell isn't cold what-so-ever, but within the moment I wasn't thinking about that.

Scavenging around I couldn't find Anna. My heart began to pick up it's beat as I went above the water. Still no sight of Anna. I swam my way deeper and that's when I finally found Anna. A smirk on her lips as she swam her way up towards me, placing her lips on to mine.

Then my heart stopped beating, my mind went blank, and all I could feel was the world stop and stare as the girl was currently falling for had fallen in love for me.
