~EJ's POV~

"What the hell is she doin-" I breathed, but my breath caught in my throat as I watched helplessly. Her brother was standing there... but I cant do anything...

My heart almost stopped as I realized how close (y/n) was to the ground.

I can't just watch... I darted out of my hiding area. A bush in the front yard.

I was barely fast enough... maybe if I wasn't so thoughtful about every little thing I did then I would have saved her quicker...

"(Y/n)... " i whispered her name right before we hit the pavement of the driveway. I slid a couple of feet with her safely in my arms.

Thank God she wasn't hurt... I wouldn't of forgiven myself... I know it's a little stupid of me to say... but I think I might have...

Feelings for her.

I realize that it is stupid. I just feel that she means something. Something that I don't understand right now.

I'll lock and bolt her window everyday now. I don't want her to try this again. She is too young. Still going to school. I mean... come on. I was only in colledge but that's not of any importance. The only thing that matters is that she has a life to look forwards to.

That she can't continue to beat herself up like this.

I had just realized that i was face down on the ground with (y/n) crying in my arms... well sitting on my outstretched arms sobbing into her hands.

Her brother kaelub rushed over after a moment. He couldn't stop going on and on about how he was thankful for me catching her. He held her in his arms.

He had taken her off of my arms now and I had sat up. My mask had a crack in it... great. I looked down not wanting her brother to see my mask.

My hood was up and my messy brown hair hung down in front of my face slightly.

I'm glad that she is okay...

I stood and started walking down the street. "Wait! What's your name! I should atleast tell her who saved her!" Kaelub shouted pleadingly.

I smiled to myself. "I'm Jack." I smiled as her cries got a bit quieter. She had found my note I was guessing...
