Aurora up there

Alexander's POV

  Me and David have been going over his Spanish work and he seemed to get the hang of it really fast. Like it literally only took him about 20 minutes to get the hang of it. I guess it was because of the way I explained it to him. He said I explained it better then the teacher did and that he would use my way from now on. "If you need any help, you know that you can come to me." I said as he closed the Spanish book. "Yeah I know that now. Wish I would've asked you sooner instead of failing test after test and pop quiz after quiz." he said making me laugh. "Let's go over your biology stuff now." I said as he got the book out. "I don't know about you but I'm hungry. Are you in the mood for anything?" he said grabbing his phone. 

  "I could really go for a beef and broccoli right about now" I said fantasizing about the food. He laughed "I'll order that for you. Specific rice?" he asked. "Oh yea. Shrimp fried rice. I don't like the white rice that it comes with. Shit be like eating a glob of glue." I said making him laugh. He called and ordered the food and said it would be done in about 15 minutes." he asked if I wanted to go to the store with him but I politely declined. I really didn't feel safe out there. "If you need me, I'll be back in a little bit the TV remote is right there just in case you wanna watch something." he said as he grabbed his keys and left out of the room and then the house. I just sat on the bed texting Sage and telling her that I may be spending the night here (It's about 7 now and we got out of school at around 3:30). She texted me back saying that it was cool and that she would let her parents know. Also she said to let her know if I feel like I'm being set up, she be here quicker then the collection plate at church. 

  I literally laughed hard as fuck when she texted me that. My friends are mad funny. I decided that I was gonna make and Instagram too since Sage and Aurora keep nagging me to make at least one social media. I decided that my username would be Life_AsAlexander (corny, I know but I really don't feel like having an extra ass name like steal_yoman or allat other bs). I decided that most of my pictures would mostly be of me and my friends and maybe the scenes around me. I uploaded my first picture and texted Sage and Aurora my Instagram account. "I'm back with the food." David said scaring the shit outta me. "My bad I didn't mean to scare you." he said handing me my food. "You good it's cool. Now let's get started on this Bio work shall we?" I said after taking a bite of my food. He pulled out the book and all of these papers with 30's and 40's marked on them fell out. "Damn, this might really take all night" I thought to myself

  "Sorry about that." he said with his face flushed with embarrassment. "It's cool. We all failed a few test in our lifetime." I said smiling. "Let's get started. The muscular system can be broken down into three types of muscles: skeletal, smooth and cardiac. Your skeletal muscles are the ones that control movement. Your smooth muscles are the ones in your stomach. They are smoother then your skeletal muscles and cannot be controlled. You cardiac muscle is your heart. It pumps blood throughout your body and keeps you alive. You following me?" I asked him making sure he understood and that I didn't lose him. "Yeah I'm getting it." he started taking his shirt off. I was a little confused until he said "Ok let's practice. This is a skeletal muscle right?" he said pointing to his shoulder.

  "Correct." I answered him. "These are mainly smooth muscles right?" he said circling his stomach. "That is correct. You're getting it." I said low key proud that he was catching on. "Last but not least, this is the cardiac muscle. It basically keeps all of them and me alive." he said pointing to his heart. "Mmmmhmmm correct. Ok so tell me what the respiratory system does." I said trying to see what areas he needed help with. "Easy, it helps us breathe in oxygen while exhaling carbon dioxide. The lungs, the trachea, and the diaphragm." he said pointing to each organ. I smiled. "See I know a little something something. I'm not that dumb." he said smiling.   

  I swear my heart dropped when he smiled at me. No beuno.

  I spent the rest of the time playing games and going through my new instagram while David read his biology book. Whenever David was ready for me to test him, he would let me know and we would review what he just to make sure he fully understood. "Could you tell me where the bathroom is?" I asked "Oh it's down the hall to the left." he said looking up at me and then returning his head back into the book. When I came back, I tripped over my book bag that was on the floor and landed right on top of him. "You good?" he asked as I just stared at him. I don't know what came over me but I kissed him (judge your mom ok). To my surprise, he actually kissed me back. After about 10 minutes of us kissing, we finally broke it. "Finally." was all he said as he sat up and had me in his lap. 

  "What?" I said as I tried to get in a more comfortable. "You finally stopped playing hard to get. Acting like you don't like me and shit." he said doing that damn smile. "Eh, that wasn't and act but I don't know why I just did that to be honest." I said low key confused. Damn you body of mine. "Well I'm glad you did." he said kissing my cheek. "Come on lets get back to work." I said climbing off of him and grabbing a book. "I guess." he said shrugging his shoulders and went back to studying. "One last question, Alex do your parents abuse you?" he said looking at me concerned. That question made me freeze and completely shut down. It took me a few minutes to get myself together and actually answer his question. I took a deep breath "Yes they did for the past six years. I gotten everything from raped, to starved to beaten. I wouldn't say starved anymore since that changed when I was sixteen and got my job at the bakery." I finished. 

  "That would explain it." he said. "Explain what?" I asked a little thrown off and confused. "Why Dominic beat you up that day and those marks on your body that day in gym." he said. "You saw them?!" I said shocked. He nodded his head "At first I didn't think too much of it until I saw that closed fist print on your stomach. Alex I swear on everything that I'm not gonna let do that shit to you anymore." he said getting upset. "It's fine David. I handled it and now I'm living with Sage." I said somewhat calming him down. "Let's get back to studying. I don't want this to be all about me." I said changing the subject. The rest of the night we studied and I ended up falling asleep on him. When I woke up the next morning, he had one arm around me. "Damn it, I don't have any clothes." I said as I jumped up realizing that I really didn't have anything to wear nor wash up with. 

  "There's extra towels in the bathroom and you can wear some of my old stuff." David said sitting up rubbing his eyes. I didn't even pay him any mind after he said that, I just ran into the bathroom and ran the shower. When I got out, David was already dressed and had clothes laid out for me "Hurry up you got about 15 min before I leave your ass." I quickly got dressed and walked downstairs with him. On our way out, I greeted his parents, who were downstairs eating breakfast. David stopped by a iHop on our way to school and got us something to eat. I got out of the car to meet up with Sage and Aurora, who were waiting for me by Sage's car. I waved to them and ran to me up with them when I heard. "Alex get down!" followed by a loud crack. I turned around to see David lying on the in pain and my father standing there with a bat in his hand.

  Sage and Aurora had already dropped their things and begin tagging my mother's ass. "You again." I laughed as I dropped my things and begin to square up with my father. The fact that they are that bold to try and hurt me on school grounds shows me that they don't care about me whatsoever. That's fine, let me serve him this nice ass whooping real quick. I began tagging my father, while trying to avoid the bat he was swinging. "Come on pussy!" I said as he tried to swing at me with the bat. I took that opportunity to snatch the bat from him and  punch him in his eye. Bulls eye bitch. "Fuck" he said as he stumbled and turned to run away. I threw the bat right through the rear view window, hoping it clocked his ass. Sadly, it didn't. My mom scary ass took that opportunity to run as he met her by the gate (Sage and Aurora ran to David side after my dad punk ass ran). 

  Shortly after they left, Dominic came running out of the building, straight towards me. Looks like I'm gonna be fighting twice today. I dropped my food once again and quickly dodged that punch he tried to throw. "I definitely owe you and ass whooping too." I said as I punched him in his face. He punched me in my stomach but the made me right hook his ass. He stumbled back and spit out blood. "This is your fucking fault!" he yelled as he tackled me. "He should've never agreed to tutor yo fagget ass!" he yelled as he threw a punch to my face. I turned my head to side, making him hit the gravel. I headbutted him and got on top him and starting fucking his dumb ass up. "This ain't my fault shit! I had no idea no idea that this shit was gonna happen. "Alex stop!" David winced out. "No fuck him, he gonna get this well deserved ass whooping!" I yelled as I punched Dominic in his face.  

  "This is why I never let him fight" someone said as I was lifted in the air.  

  I knew I was right when I said I started a war and best believe I'm gonna finish this shit.
