Feelings... Feelings of attachment are one of the many feelings Bardroy, the cook of the Phantomhive household tried his best to avoid at all cost. Soon he began to break that rule. He soon began to get attached to the house itself which was something he figured to be unavoidable. It was better to protect something you cared about rather than protect an object you have no attraction to. Or so he thought because really it is worse either way if you really aren't fond so much of the object in need of protection you are more likely to let your guard down and face the consequences. On the other hand if you were to let your guard down on something you care about you will not only face those consequences but also the reminder that that object is gone and will not return.

His attraction to the house was really nothing worth making a fuss over. It is his attraction to the other servants he thought to create the biggest issue. Meyrin was a good friend and loyal companion. She was the maid at the Phantomhive manor and he always figured she was probably a good person to talk to about his feelings, but he never did. The other servant however, was the main issue. Finnian was the gardener at the Phantomhive estate. He was still only a teenager around the age of 16. His feelings for Finny were different then that of Meyrin. He felt as if he needed to protect the boy at all costs even though his tough outer shell made it hard for him to do so. Finny was called a "brat" on many occasions and each time it made tears well up in his eyes. And Bardroy always felt horribly afterward but never once thought to make amends.

Regret seemed to follow him wherever he went. Things he should of said and things he should've done...
