I'm gonna make you go mad.

2 months later.

Rob POV

  It's been two months since me  and Derrick kissed and to be honest, he's been acting weird every since. Like he literally spazzed out on me for not saving him a slice of pizza when there was only ones slice left in the first place. Plus I bought the damn pizza. It was my way of attempting to bond with him since he said work has been stressing him. I thought it would be nice if we had pizza and just watched a movie or something while I gave him a massage. Welp only thing that happened was he ate about half the pizza then fell asleep as soon as the movie started.  After that, he refused to talk to me about anything. Like I mostly got a hi and bye before he went straight to sleep. 

  The good news however, is that my place is finally up to par so you can guess where a nigga ran straight to. Trust me, I thanked him as well as left some money that should've covered my stay there. I know that wasn't exactly the best way to handle things but there was no other way I could even get him to have a simple conversation with me. "Rob hurry up." Alexis yelled from downstairs. We're just going out to eat and enjoy the weekend. "Can a nigga tie his shoes?! Damn." I said laughing. I finished tying my shoes and headed downstairs. "Damn you take linger then a female. Felt like you was giving birth or something." she said as I mean mugged her ass. "I KNOW YOU NOT TALKING!" I said as she shut right on up. She know better. Ms. I takes me 6 hours to find a damn outfit. Not even adding the time it took for her to shower and do her makeup.

  I took a damn nap and she still wasn't ready. It be your own friends man. "We taking you car or mine?" I asked her. I was so happy to see that my baby hasn't been stolen and has actually been taken care of. Lyfting to and from work to Derrick house when he wasn't available was costly as hell. "Mine." she said as I locked the door and followed behind her. We turned up to a few songs before we finally reached our destination. "This week was fun as hell, well except Monday." I said to her.  "Almost lost my job because she threatened to choke over something I didn't even do. Hands were ready for that ass though." Alexis said as we stepped out of the car. "Welp thank God you didn't because I would've been lonely as hell without my ride or die." I said as she smiled all ugly. "I knew you loved me." she responded as I gave her the middle finger.

  "You picked up pretty quick. I thought it would've taken you at least another month before you got back into the swing of things. Slowly but surely, my memory has been coming back. I got back into work within a weeks time of returning to work. Just went to sleep one night and it hit me. "So how was it living with Derrick?" she asked. This was what I was low-key dreading to be honest. "Oh it wa-" "Wait isn't that him right here?" she said pointing to the left of me. Thank God I wasn't trying to spy on him or nothing. She would've gotten me caught. He was getting some food, clearly not paying us no mind. It was when he turned around that I noticed he was walking our way. I turned around to see Alexis waving him over. Hype ass -_-. "Hey Derrick!" she said as she hugged him. 

  "Whats up Lex?" he said not even acknowledging me at all. I didn't even do anything, or did I? I don't know man. I sat there on my phone as the two of them continued to have conversation. I don't know how much time pass before the conversation ended. "Oh and Rob, I loved your noted. Nice touch. See you around Lex." he said sarcastically as he left. "OK......that was awkward as hell. He was cold as hell to you. What happened?" she said before returning to her seat. "Lex I don't have even the slightest of idea. I mean every since we kissed-" "Wait y'all did what?!" she said trying to stop the smile from forming. "Yeah we kissed that day you dropped me off at the gym." "What happened after that?!" she asked a little too hype.  

  "Well I told him that he owed me a full body massage due to the fact that my body was aching, which he happily did. Twice at that. He's really good with his hands I must say. I was out cold after that. Then like two weeks later, he started acting cold to me. I brought him some breakfast at his job one day and he just snatched the bag from me. Now mind you, we had a talk about Troy and I told him that I won't even mention him as a way of keeping tension to a minimum, but it looks like that was working at all. Then he was telling me about how his job was increasing the workload which was making him more stressed then usual. So I figured why not plan a chill day? Order a pizza, give him a massage and pop a movie in, whatever he prefers. I just wanted him to relax. I even ordered the pizza from his favorite place. Welp, he ate about half the pizza and fell straight asleep afterwards. Then got mad at me because I ate the last slice because I was hungry." I said as I looked at my soda. 

  "It's just been random arguments after arguments. My place was ready for me to come back to about a month ago but I decided to stay with him for a bit longer because I got comfortable." I said as she sighed. "What he mean by the note?" she asked. "Well I've been trying to tell him about me going back home for the last 3 weeks but he just wasn't trying to hear me out. So that same Monday, I left him a note telling him that I was going back home. I left what I thought was an adequate amount of money as a way of thanking him for letting me stay." I said. "Rob, i'm not saying your right but-" "What other choice did I have Lex?" "If you would've let me finished, I was gonna say what you just said." she said as I laughed "My bad."

Alexis POV       

  I know Derrick's upset that Rob's memory hasn't came back fast enough but this isn't the way to handle it. Wait hold on. "You said you ordered his favorite pizza. How did you know that?" I asked him. "Memory I guess. I was actually remembering a lot about him honestly." he said as I perked up. Interesting. "Like what?" I asked him. "Like his favorite color, car, where he worked, how many siblings he has. Small things to be honest. I guess I did know more to him than I thought." he said as he sipped on his soda. So it looks like Rob may gain his full memory soon. We can't pressure him, strict orders from the doctors. 

*Flashback* 

  "There's a chance that he will gain his full memory back in due time. I would advise again trying to rush it though as it could actually cause him to forget the things that he remembers, repeating this cycle. So he has to go through this on his own." 

*End Of Flashback* 

  I just have a feeling it might be too late because from how Derrick is acting, it looks like he may just reached his breaking point. Rob is my best friend so I'll be riding with him til we 6 feet under. "So how have you and Troy been?" I asked as my stomach churned a bit. I just do not trust that boy but whatever. "We've been good. I mean I haven't been extensively talking to him that much since my attention was more so on Derrick but we've hung out a few times." he said as our food arrived. "You would've thought Derrick was my boyfriend instead of him." he said as he laughed. That's because he is. "But yeah I'll be seeing him again this weekend. I just nodded my head while we ate our food. 

Rob POV

  The rest of the night we just joked about work before heading to a nearby park and sat on the swings. "Hey Rob?" Alexis asked as she sat there. "What's up?" I asked her. "Do you think you'll ever get married?" she asked me. "I wou-" I started as a picture of a ring flashed in before me. I was engaged before? "Hey Rob? You OK? You kinda spaced out on me. I didn't mean to scare you or anything." she said as she laughed. "Nah it's fine. To answer your question, yes I would like to get married. Hopefully they'll be ready for me when the time comes. I was engaged before but I guess it didn't work out seeing as though I no longer have a ring on my finger." I said holding my hand up as I laughed. Only thing is, I was the only one laughing. 

  "Uh Lex? You the one that spaced out on me now? You OK?" I asked her. "Huh? Yeah I'm good nothing to worry about." she said as she laughed. That laugh was a bit weird but I paid it no mind. "I get to be your maid of honor though right?" she asked me as I started smiling. "Duh! If we decide to have a big ceremony, then yes you'll be a shoe in for that. You know this. If we have just a plain courthouse type of situation, you'll just have to be my ring bearer." I said as I shrugged. "That's fine too." she said as I laughed. "Now what role will I play in your wedding sis?" I said with my head tilted to the side. "Now you know your my man of honor and ring bearer. That was actually something we decided on together." she said as I smiled. "Awww you guys are gonna make me cry. Did you think of a location yet?" I asked her. "Yup we're thinking about Santorini, Greece." she said as I smiled (A/N: Theres a video showing the this place that circulated on Facebook. Can't find it though).  Seeing my best friend so happy makes me happy. 

  "That place is beautiful! The water is a beautiful deep blue! Let me get my bags packed." I said excitedly. "Well in all honesty, we were waiting for you too wake up anyway. I refused to get married without my right hand there. Now that you are right here with me, we're all set. The date is July 28th." she said as I had to do a mental calculation. "That's in 3 weeks! I gotta put my request in." I said as I reached for my phone. "Rob chillax, I handled that plus your ticket was already paid for. All YOU have to do is pack your damn bags and come to the rehearsal Friday. We set two more for you next weekend so you'll be all caught up." she said as I smiled. Looking out for the cookout! A real one. We sat and talked some more before heading back home. "This was well needed." I said as she nodded her head. "This is our thing from now on." she said as I nodded my head and hugged her as I said my goodbyes before walking to my house. 

That Weekend

  The weekend finally came! Thank you Jesus Mary and Joseph. This week has been a but rough for a thug but I handled it. I was changing my clothes as my phone started to ring. "Hello?" I said as I pulled my jeans up. "You still coming?" Troy said as my ass was over her trying to do two things at once and failing miserably. "I am!" I said as I sat down on the bed. I put the phone on speaker while he talked. "You said you was gonna be ready about 20 minutes ago. Take longer then a female" he said as I laughed. Why everybody coming for me? "Nigga shut up. I just gotta put my sneaks on then I'll be on my way." I said as I laughed. "Nah I not falling for that shit again. Imma stay on the phone until I hear you leave out the house." he said as I laughed. Man he childish. 

  I finished putting my sneaks as I took on more look at myself in the mirror before heading out. I muted his ass while I drove to his place. "You gonna open the door or nah?" I said as I unmuted the phone. "You play to much yo." he said as he laughed before hanging up. "Wassup ugly." I said as he opened the door and hugged me. "Ugly, nah." he said as he we continued to hug. "You smell good." I said smiling. "Thanks. Let's go." he said as broke the hug and locked the door. We were going to the arcade today. "Cool." he said as he walked to his car. I made sure I turned my alarm on before following behind him. The ride was a calm one, minus me getting hype to a few of my songs as we drove but yeah. "You ready to get your ass beat in air hockey?" he said as we entered the building. 

  "You win a game against me? Never that kid. Let's go." I said as we walked towards the table. After 4 games, we ended up tying so this was the deciding game. He tried to do this trick shot that made the ball zig zag all crazy but I was ready for his ass. At the right moment, I hit the ball making it beeline towards his goal. "That's game!" I said as he laughed. We went to play some darts before trying some racing games. He wanted to do this ticket game so I just let him. He actually ended up wining the jackpot twice, which took all the tickets from the machine twice! I know they was mad at him. "What you want?" he asked as we went to cash them in. I pointed to the medium size dog in the corner. "What else. These yours so go crazy." he said. See me, I'm different. I don't want all the bears and junk. 

  I pointed to the Ipad they had hanging up and told them to put the rest towards the candy (of my choosing of course. "Thank you so much." I said as I hugged him. "No problem. I wanna take some pictures before we leave. He said as he pointed to the photo booth. We took two sets of pictures. The first set being goofy poses and the last set being happy ones. "I love these." I said as I smiled. "Same here." he said as we continued to walk. We stopped to grab a bite to eat before heading home. "I really had a good time with you today." I said as we approached his step. "That's all I wanted you to do, even though I let you win that game." he said as I scoffed. "Yeah whatever." I said as I stared at him.  "What I say?" he said looking at me confused. I just kissed him as he kinda stood there in shock. "Good night Troy." I said as I walked away. "Get home safe Rob." he responded.

  Today was a good day indeed. 

Trust me, I know what I'm doing.

It was my mom's birthday yesterday (7/11) so consider this a late birthday gift from me and her to you.
