"I know what these niggas like"

Rob POV

  "Care for me, care for me, you said you'd care for me. There for me, there for me, there for me. Said you'd be there for me!" I heard some one's loud ass singing. "Shut up!" I yelled. "Nope. Get yo ass up!" they responded back. I slowly opened my eyes as the bright light burned them. "Why are you so loud this early in the morning? I'm trynna recover over here." I said looking for Alexis. "Cuz bae landed and nigga it's 2:30 in the afternoon. I know y'all not that tired." she said pointing behind me. Derrick was sleeping like a baby. To make matters worse, this nigga was hard, I mean harder then K. Michelle's old ass. God thing I was in front of him. "I don;t even recall getting in this damn bed." I said turning back to her as I rubbed my temples.

  "Hell I don't even recall going to sleep but at least we're woke. Come on let's go get lunch." she said as she threw a bottle of ibuprofen and a Gatorade at me. I took the pills and drunk the Gatorade before easing my way out of the bed and walking towards the bathroom. "she got me fucked up if she think I was going out there smelling like sweat and last night's regret." I said to myself. "Of course not dear." she said scaring the shit out of me. "Man get out of my face." I said as I laughed. I closed the door as I began to make myself look presentable/approachable. "You're the only person I know that takes 20 min showers. The hell you be doing in there?" she said as I started putting my clothes on. "Um having a little concert/rap battle, having a therapy session and of course showering. I'm not stepping out that shit unless I smell like S O A P." I said as I smiled at her. 

  "Whatever. Let's go." she grabbed my arm as I laughed. "This place is made beautiful. I could see myself living here." I said as we walked down the steps:         

  "I know right! Makes me question how much I really need that damn job." she said as I laughed. "Here we are." she said as we walked into this nice restaurant. "Χαίρετε" the waiter greeted us as we spoke back. We place our orders as and decided to make small talk. "Your getting married Saturday! Aren't you excited?" I said as she smiled at me. "Excited and nervous as hell. More so excited though. I've been waiting for this moment my whole life. The fact that you're apart of it makes it even better." she said as I smiled.  Seeing her so happy really makes my happy. "Plus the bachlorette party is tomorrow! We're gonna have so much fun." she said as I laughed. The waiter returned with our food as we dug in. After we finished eating, we took a couple of pictures before tipping the waiter. We decided that a little bit of sightseeing/shopping would be a nice way to spend the day. 

   "Well, this was cute but daddy's calling." she said as we literally just walked into the store. "Isn't it bad luck to see the groom before the wedding?" I said as she just ignored me. This nigga right here. "Welp I didn't come here for nothing." I said to myself. I bought a couple of outfits before I exited the store. I just wanted to see the city some more to be honest. "Fancy seeing you here." a voice said, causing me to turn around. "There you are." I said smiling. "Oh you was looking for me?" Markos said with a grin. "I hope the food is good." I said pointing to the restaurant behind him. "Woooowwww." he said as I laughed. "Let me stop playing. Hey ugly." I said as he walked up to me. "I wasn't ugly when you was dancing on me last night." he said as I laughed. "That was a pity dance. I felt bad for you that's all. I try to as much charity work as I can." I said as he had a fake hurt expression on his face. "Cold. Come here and warm me up." he said as he hugged me. "Move." I said laughing.

  "Come on." he said as he grabbed my bags and started walking. OK gentleman. We stopped by this ice cream place as he showed me the store. I wonder if it taste the same. We placed our orders as he sat down across from me, making small talk along the way. "What made you come out here?" he asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Well my friends getting married but this was also one of the places on our bucket list. I said as he nodded his head. "Why hasn't anyone snatched you up yet. That smile alone is beautiful." he said as I laughed. I'm not telling him about my ex because I don't know him all like that. "Welp. You're gonna make a man lucky as hell." he said as he place his head on his chin smiling at me. "Boy shut up." I flagged him off. "I'm just saying." he said as he ate some of his ice cream. I looked down at mine and noticed that it wasn't melting like that. 

  I shrugged and continued to eat my ice cream. We continued talking about the day before heading out for a walk on the town. Soon it got dark out and Alexis was blowing up my phone. "Thanks for showing me around but if I don't get back, Alexis is gonna kill me. "I can't argue with that. She seems like she doesn't play. You gonna text me?" he said as he handed me my bags. "I'll think about it." I said laughing. "Make me come back to America." he said as I laughed. "OK OK." I said before leaving. For the rest of the night, I dealt with nothing but 21 questions from Alexis. Let's not forget, the hoe left me for some dick foh. I took a shower and then headed straight to bed.    

The Next Day

  "Ight come on. Come on." Alexis said as she gathered everyone up. We was heading to her bachlorette party. It was already decided that I would be with her and Derrick would be with Jerad. "It just better be lit." I said as everyone laughed. "You shut up." she said as she opened the door. Loud music started playing as everyone instantly started turned up. "I got that juice. New Ap. She got that juice.She got that squeeze" Yo gotti rapped as we all danced. We made a few drinks before starting the games. "You cheated dawg!" I yelled as Alexis cousin laughed. "I don't know what your talking about." she said shrugging. "Nah Ree. Rob won fair in square." Alexis said as we all laughed. We released our inner strippers as we threw ones on each other. "Aye! Aye! That's my best friend!" Alexis said hyping me up. 

  "Excuse me! Excuse me!" A man said as we all turned around. "We've been getting complaints of loud noise and commotion. I gonna ask that you.......turn it up!" he said as the music resumed and he started dancing. "Who's the lucky bride?" he asked as we all pointed to Alexis. He went over to her and went to work. I must admit, he was fine. "I think I'm gonna need some back up." he said into his little walkie talkie. Two more guys came on as they started dancing on her. Gone head Lex. She whispered something to them as they came towards me. I felt myself being lifted in the air. "Oh my god." I said covering my face as they sat me down in the chair and started dancing on me. "There we go! That's my boy!" she said as they kept dancing on me. Thank god I was NOT in a relationship right now. We tipped the strippers once they were finished and continued to party. We're gonna regret this tomorrow. 

  Wedding Day

  "Rob. Hey Rob. Wake up." I felt some tapping me. "Stop. Let me sleep." I groaned as I rolled over. "Nobody told you to come back at 2 in the morning." they said as I pretty much ignored them. "You lucky her wedding doesn't start til 3 so I'll let you be." they said as I just groaned in agreement. I was out cold after that. "Ight Rob get up." Derrick said again waking me up. I'm up I'm up." I said as my eyes was still closed. "Rob." he said again as I ignored his ass.I felt the blanket get snatched off of me. "Get up man. Your phone has been blowing up for the past ten minutes. I instantly shot up from the bed. I forgot that Alexis wanted me to be there with her. "What time is it?" I asked him. "1:30." he responded as my ass ran into the bathroom to get myself together. 

  My phone ran once more once I was finished. "I'm coming right now. Gimme five. You have my tux there right?" I said into the phone. "Yes. Hurry. I really need you." she said as I nodded my head (like she can see me), before hanging up. I quickly put on my sneakers as Derrick laughed at me. "Not funny." I said as I glared at him. "You never on time yo." he said laughing again. I was on tine when it was time to jump on that d- whatever. "Eat my ass." I said as I grabbed my phone. "Already did!" he yelled as I walked out the door. Niggas. Luckily Alexis wasn't that far from me. I made it there in less then 10 minutes. I quickly made my way to her room. "Thank God you made it." she said as she bear hugged the hell outta me. I looked at her mom as I gasped for air. "She really needs you. She was gonna call it off if you didn;t get here sooner." she said as I looked at Alexis.

  "Stop being dramatic. Go ahead and get your make up and allat done. I'll be in the next room doing the same." I said as she nodded her head and went to her chair. "Thank you Rob." he mom said as she hugged me. "You know I got you. And you better look like a princess when I get out." I said turning my attention to Alexis. I grabbed my suit and headed straight to the bathroom. I did a quick pit check and allat just to make sure I was extra fresh. I'm glad she had the room set up for me. I applied a little extra just to be safe as well as a little bit more lotion. Jergens for the win. Once I was fully dressed, I looked at myself in the mirror. "I clean up nice." I said to myself. I felt like something was missing. I need a watch. "Damn I left mines in the room." I said aloud as I scanned the room. A black box and white envelope caught my eye. "Rob." was all that was on the envelope. 

  I opened up the envelop as I read the letter: "To one if the best brothers a girl could ever ask for. You've been with me through so much and never gave up on me. You've always motivated me to do better and when shit went left, you was ALWAYS by my side, even if I was in the wrong. That's why having you in this wedding was crucial to me. If you weren't here, let's be honest, I don't thank I would be getting married today. Hell even be in this relationship. Rob, thank you for saving me and keeping me sane. I could say more but we'll be here forever lol. Knowing you, you probably forgot this so I bought you an even better one. I love you so much! We're finally at the finish line! Xoxoxo Alexis". Great, now this bastard has me crying. An ugly cry at that. I opened the box to see not one but two watches     

  "Oh my god." I said as I looked at them. I decided to put the Versace one on since my tux was the same color. "Wow." I said as I wiped away tears. I wiped my tears away (yes I did wipe my nose and allat -_-) as I finally put the watch on and before giving myself a look over. "Perfect." I said as I left out the room. Alexis was ow fully dressed as her back was turned to me. I put my finger on my lip as everyone else looked my way. "Alright gorgeous. We'll see you soon." her mother said as they all left. "Whew god. I'm so nervous." she said to herself. "There's my princess." I said catching her off guard. She smiled super hard when she seen me. "There you are. You look so good Rob." she said taking a step back and admiring me. "This isn't about me. It's all about you. Thank you so much for the watches and making me cry." I said smiling at her. 

  "I'm sorry. " she said as we laughed. "We've literally talked about this day since we were in highschool and now we're finally here. Today is all about you baby girl and I'm so happy that I;m here to experience it. I want you to take everything in and just enjoy yourself. Thank you for being strong for me at times when I was weak. Thank you for never giving up on me when I thought the world was against me. Thank you for just being there for me." I said as she started to tear up. "Your missing something." I said with my hand on my chin. I grabbed the veil and placed it over her. "There you go. That's my princess. Last but definitely not least, Thank God for bringing us together and bringing you to this point. Now go out there and bless the world." I said as she hugged me. "I love you so much." she said as she choked up. Not gonna lie. This is the second time I teared up.

  "I'll see you down the isle." I said as we broke apart. I left the room and went downstairs. "We're all set." I smiled as everyone cheered. We got into the car and headed to the destination. Shortly after we arrived, the wedding began. Happily Ever After by Case started playing as people made their way down the isle. "OK just like you rehearsed." I coached myself as it was now my turn. Once I saw Derrick approaching, I instantly got nervous/butterflies again. It's so  bittersweet. I smiled as he linked his arm with mine as we made our way down the isle:   

  This is so beautiful! Way to go Alexis! "Couldn't we be the happily ever after? We could be strong together for so long. Couldn't we please be happily ever after? Leaving you never stays forever strong" the last chorus to the song said as Alexis walked out right on cue. I swear to God, I started to cry again. The wedding bells in the song and her just coming down the isle was perfect timing. Antonio (A/N: her fiance's name. I don't think I ever gave him one), started tearing up as he saw her. That's right nigga, you got a good one. Once Alexis mad it to us, she couldn't hold back her smile and tears that were starting to form. 

Derrick POV   

  As they were exchanging their vowels, I couldn't help but stare at Rob. He looked so damn handsome. I was imagining that this was our wedding and that he was walking down the isle towards me. Like we were literally so close towards this being a reality that the shit hurts to watch. The day I proposed to him, I felt complete. It felt like I finally did something right in my life and for once, I finally got the one thing I wanted. When I watched give the rings with that beautiful smile on his face, it felt like something stabbed my heart. That was supposed to be us. Alas, thing happened that was unfortunately out of both of our control to the point that we had to let each other go.

  It was for the best anyway as things only would've gotten more worse and complicated then what they already are. Whoever snatches him up will be a lucky dude, word to God. "I do" the couple said as they kissed. It made me smile to see them both so happy but still, I couldn't help but picture me and Rob. Damn we were so close!

Rob POV   

  Alexis changed into her reception dress as the party was in full swing now. "My baby is married now." I said as we danced together. "I love you so much!" she responded. To be honest, it felt like we've both accomplished something. I handed her off to her now husband (feels weird/funny to say at the moment) as the had their first dance together, followed by the father daughter dance. I took the time to get me something to drink. Okay more like after a few conversations with family and friends did I get something to drink. I was now in the middle of making a bomb as IG caption with my empty cup in hand as a bunch of flowers landed in the cup. "Who caught the bouquet?" everyone said. I stared at the flowers wide eyed as I turned around to a loud ass applause.

  Oh shit! I CAUGHT THE BOUQUET!
