I just took her name and made that bitch an LLC.

Robert POV

  I woke up the next morning feeling a mix of emotions. I can't believe I caught the bouquet. It was random as hell too. I was just minding my business and then boom, a bundle of flowers landed in my cup. The funny thing was how hype everyone got when they noticed that I was the one who caught it. "Yes! My son is getting married next!" Alexis mom said as she ran up and hugged me. "Yes we've been hoping you were the one to catch it" "My boy!" "Lemme save this tux. Looks like imma be needing it again." were the other outbursts I heard. "Her family is funny as hell." I said to myself as I got up and went to do my morning hygiene. 

  Once I was finished, I walked back to my bed and just sat there and stared around the room. Does anyone else do this? Just sit there in a comfortable silence and take everything in? Just me? Ahh well OK. I grabbed my headphones and turned on Successful by Ariana Grande. "Yeah, it feels so good to be so young and have this fun and be successful, yeah. I'm so successful, yeah and, girl, you too, you are so young and beautiful and so successful, oh, woah, yeah" she sung as I swayed from side to side. I looked at the bouquet that was sitting in the vase as I smiled. I looked at Derrick sleeping and just nodded my head. I was in such a peaceful state of mind right now (A/N: I know that feeling all to well). 

  I was interrupted from my moment by my phone ringing. Only Alexis could do something like this. "Yes Mrs. Hughes?" I sung into the phone. "It's Bailey-Hughes negro but I've been knocking on your door for the past 10 minutes. Get dressed." she said as I laughed. I forgot that she said no matter what, she's keeping her last name. Welp lemme get dressed now. I threw something on as I walked to the door. "How the hell you still look good even when you just throw something on? It's not fair" she said as I laughed. "Stop hyping me up." I said I as I laughed. "I'm so serious though." she said as I closed the door. "Where are we going?" I said once we started walking. "To relax. Shush and let's walk." she said as we continued walking. 

  "Our spot is right there." she said as we walked down the steps:   

  "This place is so beautiful." I said as we continued to walk. Once we made it to the chairs, Alexis took of her skirt and walked to the pool. "Take my picture." she said as she handed me her phone. I took a bunch of pictures cuz you know, she's never satisfied with just one. She wasted no time flashing her ring too. "You getting in?" she said as I nodded my head. Good thing something told me to throw on these trunks. We took a few selfies before getting in the water. Of course we took a bunch of slo mos of us getting out of the water, thirst trap for the win. Only thing is, only one of us could freely post the video without having to ask for permission.

 She sent Antonio the video first before he OK'd her uploading the picture. "Y'all are so cute." I said as I smiled at her. "Yo shut up." she said blushing. Happiness looks so good on her. "Rob can I be real with you for a moment?" she said as her face got serious. "Uh sure OK." I said nervously. "Walking down that isle was a bit bittersweet for me. Don't get me wrong, I was happy as hell to make my dream become a reality but I couldn't bare to look at you as you were one of the reasons why I was crying." she said as she started to sniffle. "Wait what's wrong? What did I do?" I said confused. "Just looking at you standing there happy as hell with Derrick smiling at me reminded me that you was supposed to be next. We talked about how after I got married, you'd be up next. Remember we swore that to each other?"

  She said as I nodded my head. That after we left Malik's party, Alexis called me. She told me how if one of us got married, the other was to follow. Of course we couldn't just up and marry a random stranger. We had to be in a stable relationship. That's why we were both super excited when Derrick purposed to me. It looked like everything was falling in place. "Lex. It wasn't and still isn't about me. It was all about celebrating your happiness, your moment-" "BUT IT WAS! Rob, you don't think that I peeped that the spark you had isn't so bright?! You didn't think I noticed you playing off the hurt these past few weeks. You LOVED that man and that isn't something you take lightly!" she said as I started to tear up. All of those feelings I tried to suppress were coming back. "Stop. Please." I said as my voice cracked.  

  "No. It was supposed to be me and you. I was supposed to be like 'You up next baby boy!' as we bumped rings together. It's not fair." she said crying. I didn't think this really was going to hit her as hard as it did. "It'll happen again Lex. I promise."  I said as I hugged her. "I wanted it to be with him though." she said as that hit my heart. I didn't think she liked him that much. "Why'd you have to get hit by that car. We would've been crossing that line together. She said as she clenched onto me. "I'm sorry Lex but it's just the way it is now. It'll get better. I promise." I said weakly smiling. I don't know who I was trying to convince more, her or me. "You were so happy...." she said as I froze. "Let's just focus on the here and now. You're married Lex! The wedding was beautiful! I enjoyed watching you walk down the aisle like the princess you are. This is your moment, live in it." I said making her smile at me.

 "This is one of the reasons why I love you." she said as I laughed. "Good now let's change because I'm already bored." I said as she laughed. We went back to our rooms as we did just that. She ended up ditching me for her husband in the process so I ended up spending time with Markos. I'm gonna be honest with you chief, nothing is gonna come out of this. He lives to far and an LTR would be dumb as hell to even give thought to. I'm am enjoying his company though. "I should come to America with you." he said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hm?" I said as I looked at him. "I said I think I should come to America with you. Thanks for paying attention." he said as he laughed. "Sorry about that. I tend to do that from time to time. Back to the topic at hand, what made you say that?" I asked as I took a sip of my drink. 

  "It's just that I think a change is needed for me and plus, it'll give me a chance to really sweep you off your feet." he said as I damn near choked on my drink. "I'm sorry?" I said through coughs. "You're an amazing guy Rob, It's like you radiate this vibe of positivity and love to everyone around you. I wanna be selfish and have it all to myself sometimes." he said as I was blown away. Here I thought I was just a mean little bastard who y'all wanted to fight 70% of the time. "I-uh, I don't know what to say." I said looking at him. "It's cool. I wasn't expecting you to. I just wanted to get that off my chest. I feel damn good now." he said smiling. I can't even lie, his accent makes things sound so much better. "What I will say is this, I don't think you should give up everything just to chase me. If you're serious about coming to America, then you'd need a solid reason for going. I also can't guarantee that we'd immediately be in a relationship."

  "I'm very protective of my  heart and if you want to be with me, then you'd have to honestly show me that you want me. I'm not that easy." I said as he smiled. "I fully understand that. You made a valid point then. If and when I do come to the US and you're still single, you're mines." he said as he grabbed my hand. "Yeah yeah yeah lover boy. Let's go." I said smiling as I got up. We talked a little bit more as we walked back to my hotel. "I can't believe today is your last day here. I wanted more time with you." he said pouting. Awww he's cute. "Hey I'll come back. I just have to make sure my money right. This ain't cheap." I said as we laughed. "Let me know if you need help." he said smiling. "Thanks for everything." I said as I gave him a hug. "Not a problem. Hurry back or you gonna make me come hunt you down." he said as I laughed again.

  We looked at each other for a few minutes before I leaned in to give him a kiss. "I'm going to need more of those." he said biting his lip. "Easy there cowboy. You gotta-" I started to say as he kissed me again. We were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. "uh excuse me." Derrick said as we moved out the way. I wonder how much of that he saw. For some reason, I felt guilty as hell. I watched him for a few seconds before I turned back around to Markos. "Like I was saying slick ass, you gotta work for more of those. You got lucky that time." I said laughing. "Cool no problem. I just needed something to remember you by. Make sure you Skype me when you make it home. He said as he turned to walk away. If things were different, I definitely can see us being a couple. Only if he lived in the US though, LTR's, especially with this much distance is dangerous and has failure written all over it.

  I made my way to my room and the first thing I see is Derrick dancing with nothing but a towel on. I instantly felt guilty yet again. "Uh..." was all I could manage to say as he damn near dropped his towel. "Damn I ain't even hear you come in. My bad." he said not looking at me. "It's cool. I forgot this is a habit of yours." I said laughing nervously. "Yeah..........imma go get dressed though." he said damn near sprinting to the bathroom before I could say anything else. I sat there and went through my camera roll on my phone. "Derrick get outta my face. Play too much." I said laughing (when I got my phone, my camera roll was luckily backed up so that explains this). I quickly turned the volume down as I watched the rest of the video. I looked so damn happy here. Ole hype ass. Once Derrick came out the bathroom, I put my phone on the charger as I took a shower before heading to bed. 

  "All set?" Alexis said as I met up with her in the lobby. "Yeah. I really had fun on this trip. Congratulations again you two." I said smiling at them. "Thanks Rob." they both said to me as Alexis pulled me to the side. "Have you thought about what I said?" she said asked. I looked forward at Derrick walking slightly ahead of us. "Yeah. If it's meant to be, then it'll be." I said as she looked at me. "It's something you not telling me." she said as I rolled my eyes. "He saw me kissing Markos last night." I said sighing. "Well damn fast ass." she said nudging me. "It just happened OK? Anyway after that, I just felt guilty as hell. It felt like I cheated on him or something." I finished. "Damn. Well hopefully it all works out." she said as I weakly smiled. Yeah hopefully. 

  Shortly after that talk, we boarded the plane. I put in my headphones as Come See About Me by Nicki Minaj  started playing. Way to make me feel even worse Nic. Once that song was over, Better Off by Ariana Grande started. If I wasn't crying before, I damn sure was doing it now. I don't even remember going to sleep to be honest. I woke up with my head in Derricks lap as he slept. Well, I don't have any words for this. We were in the process of landing so I guess you could say I had good timing. We all went our separate ways after that. This trip really taught me a lot about myself. 

 6 Months Later       

    "I just took her name and made that bitch an LLC. Stuff a couple stacks up in it, bitch get on your feet." I rapped as I finished cleaning up around the house. I was interrupted by my doorbell ringing. "One second." I said as I quickly finished mopping my floor before going to the door. I looked through the peephole to see Alexis standing there. "My baby!" I said as I opened the door. "It smells good in here. What you cleaning up?" she said as she looked around. "Yeah. Just about done. Wassup?" I said as her facial expression changed before she tried to put on this fake smile. "Nothing much. Just wanted to see what my favorite person in the world is doing. That's all." she said. "You lying. You would've called if that was it. Spit it out." I said as she sighed. "Damn you know me so well. OK well Rob did you get an invitation?" she asked as I looked at her confused. "Huh? What invitation?" 

  "This invitation." she said as she pulled out an envelope and handed it to me as I opened and read it:

  "We cordially invite you to celebrate the marriage of Derrick and Jasmine"

We are nearing the end of this book and I'm glad lol.
