Rob POV

  "Take a deep breath Rob. Chill." Alexis said to me as we were meditating. After everything that was going on, I needed a release or something. It was just all too much for me. "OK OK. Let's start again." I said as we folded out hands and started up again. We started meditating for real this time as I was now transported to a beautiful forest full of lush greenery. "It's so beautiful." I said as I put in some head phones and turned on Childish Gambino's Pink Toes. This song definitely went with this scene right here. I just walked through the forest, admiring all of the animals just being in there natural habit uninterrupted. Man this feels good. 

  The alarm wet off, signaling that our time was up. "Man that felt so good." I said putting my amethyst, quartz and topaz stones away. "Who you telling. It was definitely needed I tell you that much. So tell me what's been going on with you." she said as she turned to me giving me her full attention. "Well after healing, I went to talk to Troy about what happened and he started off all wrong. He was apologizing for dancing with that girl at the party which isn't even what I was mad about. Remember the guys that jumped me?" I asked as she nodded her head. "Yeah well it turns out that he knew them. That's not even half of the story." I said as she unfolded her legs to get more comfortable.

  "He knows about them randomly jumping people, people who he happen to get in a relationship with yet he doesn't do anything about it. That right there bothers me Lex. Like if you know that they are doing this shit, why still be cool with them? Why not check then or better yet beat their ass yourself since they are sabotaging your potential relationships? Like you probably lost 'the one' five times over because of them niggas. Oh and I definitely got ole boy back for that shit. I don't forget shit." I said as she nodded her head. "Yeah that's definitely crazy. Like why still keep that energy around  you when you know it's not gonna bring you anything blessings.?" What are you gonna do with him?" she said as I literally got stuck. 

  "That's the thing Lex, like I'm made skeptical of him after all of that. Like I really don't even want to be bothered with him but I still have that what if moment in the back of my head. You know that's my problem. I mean he tried to make it up to me but I really don't want to anything with him right now. Like is he literally trying to get me jumped again on purpose to see if imma stay with you or what? I really do not have time for these childish ass games with him because best believe if I get jumped again, I'm coming for his ass as well and I won't be playing so nicely like I did the first time." I said as she laughed. "You know I'm right there with you. Wait you already hit him?" she said as she caught on.          

  "Sure did sock the shit outta him. Especially after finding that shit out." I said as I looked at her. "Yo you wild." she said as she laughed. "Welp he definitely deserved that shit after telling me he knew them." I said shrugging my shoulders as I walked into the kitchen to make me something to eat. "What you about to make?" she said following me. "Eh just some shrimp scampi. I'm craving shrimp right now." I was as I grabbed the things I needed from the fridge. The rest of the time, we just talked about the job and the little things. 

Two Months Later (Just to be where I'm at currently)

  It's been two months since everything went down and honestly, I'm at peace. I stopped talking to Troy because I honestly thought I could handle the unnecessary baggage that he came with but that's too much. If I have to fight with your friends almost everyday in order for this to work, I don't want it. "Let's go. Stop day dreaming and shit." Lex said as she grabbed a water and headed to the car. We decided to go to the beach since we both were off and it was beautiful as hell outside. "OK OK." shit I was having a Moesha moment. I grabbed my phone wallet and keys before following behind her. 

  "She think she getting that spot, I think the fuck not bitch." Alexis said as she and another lady literally waited for the spot to open up. The happened to back out on the lady side, leaving the spot wide open for us to take. "Take that bitch." Alexis said as she slid right in the spot. The woman drove by us, cursing us out as if we cared. Can't say that shit to my face lil bitch. "She salty as shit with her mad ass." Alexis said as we laughed and continued to walk. "Hey! Didn't know you was gonna be here." someone said a I turned around:

  He gonna have to start putting his shirt on. Shit. That body is...y'all see it so yeah. "Oh. Hey." I said awkwardly. I really have been keeping to myself so this is the first time I've seen him within a month. "Hey how you been? You been MIA and shit so yeah at least it's cool to see that you're doing good. I sensed the sarcasm dripping off his tongue when he said that. "Um I'll see you around Derrick." I said as I walked away from him. He low key followed me but stopped mid step and just turned around. "What was that about?" Alexis asked me. 

  "I have no idea but I have no time for the negativity right now." I said as we walked to our spot and sat down. "This looks too beautiful right now." Alexis said as she snapped pictures of the scenery on her phone. We were on the same page because I was doing the same thing. "We're getting our feet wet. " she said as she stood up. I followed behind her. It actually turned into a mini photo shoot. We was taking bomb ass pictures and shit. We stopped taking pictures and I handed her my phone while I went to swim. After about two more hours we decided to leave. We should do something tonight. It's too nice to not enjoy the day." she said as I agreed. "Go carting?" I asked as she rubbed her hands. "Prepare to get your ass bust." she said as I laughed. 

  We grabbed a bite to eat before heading to the go carting place. Something about today just made me feel so happy. "Best two out of three?" she said as I nodded my hand. She know's she almost never can beat me at this but I never back down from a challenge. After about the 5th round, it was no longer a bet. It was just two friends hanging out and enjoying the night. "That was too much fun. I almost had you on that last turn and you know it." she said as we walked out arcade. "You did. I was like aww fuck that." I said demonstrating the turn I did on her. "You annoying." she said as she playfully pushed me. "You got ya ID?" she asked as I looked at her confused. "Cool. Let's go." she said dragging me to this club. 

  Well shit when this get here? Didn't even notice it was here. We got our ID's checked before entering the club. I t was lit and the place looked just like  like it was like this every night. One of my favorite song was playing , Starrah x Diplo- Imperfections. "Aye This my shit!" I said as I made my way to the dance floor and started turning up with them. "I need imperfections, I don't need you to be perfect. We all got a past now, you just gotta leave it in the past now. So cancel out your ex and let 'em know I'm next. Cancel out your stress , 'Cause baby I'm the best." the song sung as  I got lost in the music. "You have to put this on my phone." Alexis said as we vibed out.

  When the song ended, we headed to the bar. On our way back, I bumped into someone. "Excuse me." "It's co- we gotta stop bumping into each other." the person said as I looked up and saw Derrick smiling at me. "Didn't expect to see you here." he said as I laughed. We always end up running into each other. Is this a sign or something. "Where's your girlfriend?" I blurted out. I don't know what made me say that but can't take it back now. "She's at home I guess. How about you? Where's ole dude?" he said as I laughed at him. He's so petty man. However, it was something about how he answered that question that kinda rubbed me the wrong way but hey at least he answered it. 

  "Cat got your tongue or something?" he said laughing at me. What he just ask me? "Oh he's.....he's home I guess. I don't know." I said shrugging my shoulders. Hey, I was being honest. I haven't spoke to Troy in a good minute so I don't know what he's been up to or who he's been up in. I sipped on my drink as we continued conversation. For some reason, I felt like I was being watched, but I shook the feeling. "Imma let you get back to enjoying your night. I'll see you around." he said as he walked away with his friends. When We Love by Jhene Aiko started playing as everything around me slowed down and I danced with myself. "Don't lose me. Don't lose me.  Don't choose me, then use me. Just stay right beside me, oh. Don't you dare deny my love." she sung as I was taken to another place. 

  When the song ended, I opened my eyes to complete chaos. "What the fuck." I said as I heard nothing but yells. I looked to my left and saw a crowd formed. I didn't see Alexis anyway so I made my way to the crowd. I brushed past the people to see who it was. It was Troy and Derrick fighting. Of course their respective friends were fighting each other as well but i was more so focused on them. I saw Alexis trying to break it up without getting involved because she knew I would fuck shit up if anything happened to her. They were literally going blow for blow. If i don't stop them, they'll literally kill each other. I tried my best at breaking them and was somewhat successful. They both threw one last punch at each other. I stepped back just in time for both of their hits to connect. Derrick's to Troys jaw and Troy's to Derricks stomach. 

  "That's enough! Fuck is y'all doing?!" I asked pissed off. "I came here to talk to you and you over here bussing it up with this nigga." Troy spat as I got even more pissed. "You needed a group of niggas to come with you. Then you bring the niggas who jumped me on top of that. Fuck is you doing?" I yelled as I looked at the other guy who jumped me. I was trying so hard not to beat his ass right now. Like how the fuck did you think that was a good idea? "Troy just go. Come on Derrick." I said as I grabbed his hand. "Are you serious right now?" he asked as I wanted to know who the fuck he was  talking to? I continued walking with Derrick and Alexis as we got into the car. Once she dropped us off at my house, I told her I would text her later tonight or tomorrow. 

  "Come on you." I said as I walked into the bathroom. I grabbed the first aid kit and sat on the counter top. After about a few minutes, he finally came walking into the bathroom. I began cleaning his face as he just stood there not saying a word. "You know this is your fault right?" he finally said. "How? I didn't know he was even gonna be there." I said as I swabbed his cut making him hiss at the stinging sensation. "He came up to me talking reckless. Saying that I was trynna come in between y'all and some other dumb shit. I tried to tell him that I'm not for the talking and that it was best for him to walk away but he ain't listen." he said as he shrugged his shoulders. "I apologize for any part you think I played in this. I really just wanted to enjoy today." I said as he didn't say anything else after that. 

  "Lift your chin up." I said as he did just that. Good he has no marks there. "So what happened between you and your girlfriend?" I asked trying to change the subject. "Caught her fucking one of my homies so yeah that's chalked." he simply said. Well damn. I noticed that he was staring at me. I couldn't really read his body language or what his eyes were saying so I looked at him confused. Next thing I know, his lips were on top of mine. They were so soft. I wanted to pull back but this felt so right. It just felt like this was supposed to happen. He opened my legs and got between them as he deepen the kiss. My heart is flooded with happiness right now and my body is warm all over. He placed both of his hands on my either side of my thighs that only intensified the heat. 

  My mind was all over the place that I couldn't even think straight. Only thing I could do was just go with the flow at the moment. When he finally broke the kiss, I finally caught my breath. He snatch that shit straight from my windpipes earlier. "You all done." I said as he bit his lip. Damn. I put everything away before leaving out the bathroom with him following me. He's definitely watching me, shit I feel it. I  turned to say something but I tripped before I could even get the words out. He caught me right on time. He didn't say anything but just looked at me with that same look from earlier. I hope I'm not red as fuck right now. That would be mad embarrassing.

  When he let me up, I just continued the walk to my room. I didn't know what to say so I didn't say anything. I noticed that he took his shirt off and laid down in the bed. I went to the bathroom to change clothes before getting back into the bed. You guys, I'm on autopilot right now. I have no idea of what to do or say. "C'mere." he says as he pulls me closer to him. He lifts my chin up and kisses me with so much passion that Aphrodite herself would be jealous. "I like this." he says in between kissing me. Still speechless. After about 10 minutes, we finally break apart. I reached over to turn the lamp over as he pulled me to him. It's like he doesn't want to let me go. We weren't in a spooning position but his arm was around my waist. 

  "You'll see." was the last thing he said before he drifted off. I just hope he wasn't drunk.
