Jay ran into the hallway only to fun into a wall. His mother came running over.
"Honey are you alright?" She asked. He nodded quickly as he was helped to his feet.
"Mom, what are you doing home early?" He asked.
"Turns out the meeting was only 5 hours long." She smiled. He was so dead if his mom went into his room. No girls were aloud in his room especially a demon girl with fangs who could turn her wings into a tattoo. Then before he could try to direct his mother away from his room there was a loud crash.
"What was that?" She mumbled. Jay jumped between his mom and his room. Her arms crossed. She began to tap her black heels on the ground.
"What did you do?"she asked looking annoyed.
"Nothing. What on earth would I do?" He stated innocently. Her blue eyes glared at him threw her black glasses.
"Ever since your father got sick, you've been getting into a lot more trouble than what you usually do." She stated.
"Name one time."
"Last October you read online that cats help with focusing on homework so, you got one from the alleyway behind the building. Then it attempted to kill Mrs.Reed's cat Cinnamon."
"That was the cats fault for coming into the house."
"Then, there was Christmas two years ago when you tried to cook the turkey and almost burnt the apartment down."
"Well how was I supposed to know you don't cook it at 555 degrees!"
"Then there was last month when you almost drowned in lemonade when, Sam bet you $15 than you couldn't swim in a pool full of lemonade."
"Well jokes on her. I got the money."
"Last Monday you tried make a soda volcano and the entire hall way from the science lab to your class room was filled with that soda stuff . In fact it kept foaming so badly that, they had to evacuate the school."
"You know very well that happened because Wayne switched the chemicals by accident."
"Yesterday you almost got run over by a car trying to impress that Katie girl." She sighed. How did her little boy always find a way to get into trouble? One of these days she'd probably get a call from the police saying he dropped dead due to a stupid idea. Then when her husband died she'd be all alone until she died. Jay sighed. There was no stopping his mother from going in his room. Very slowly he moved a side. She tore the door opened and gasped. On the floor was his stack of CDs by his bed.
"The wind must have knocked it over." Jay's mom thought. She took a deep breath. Then, she dropped down to Jay's height and put her hand on his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry I thought you did something wrong. I should've trusted you wouldn't do a thing while I was gone. What can I do to make it up to you?" She asked sweetly. This was the tenth time this happened this week. Jays eyes searched the room. Where'd that girl go? Finally when his eyes met his mom's he knew what to do.
"Can we eat out tonight?" He asked. His mother nodded. As they went to leave he told his mother he didn't feel up to leaving the house right now. So she left without him. The second Jay walked back into his room his closet door opened. On the other side was the peached skinned demon girl. She was now wearing an old KISS t-shirt (that was too big for her) and blue jeans. A large smile broke out across her face.
"Now that's she gone why don't you tell me why you summoned me." She stated. Jay took a deep breath. Here goes nothing.
