"Three years ago when I was twelve dad found out he had lung cancer." He said quickly. Flame looked at him. Jay had closed his blue eyes and didn't open it yet. "When what I have for friends found out they tried their hardest to help us get enough money we needed for the treatment he needed but, then five months after the surgery it came back but, this time it went to his brain and other lung. That was this time last year. Then three weeks ago he had two day to live but, his lasted this long. Dad says he'll last until I graduate from high school. I'm not dumb. He won't last until Easter. My friend Sam's sister who's a total goth told me I could always summon a demon to make him better. I didn't believe it would work but, what choice did I have left." He opened his eyes. The looked as if tears would start coming out. Then he took a deep breath and smiled at her.
"I can't believe it actually worked." His smile got brighter. "Now you can cure him and things can go back to normal." Flames eyes got big. Should she tell him? She really didn't want to burst the boys bubble. Her fang turned into a nervous smile. Jay looked at her as if she was a Jewel Thief and he had found something that would cause him to find the truth. Well, better come clean.
"I'm not going to lie that's a great idea." She stated with a fake smile.
"I know right." He smiled back.
"Except there's a tiny itty bitty problem with your idea."she whispered sheepishly. His smile faded. He looked shocked.
"What problem?" He asked. "If you have to kill someone then you can take me. I know my parents would get over it."
"No, it's not that. It's actually quite funny." She stated. "Um I don't know how to do that." Jay's eyes grew so big that they looked like they'd fall out of his skull. Maybe they could do that. Flame didn't know exactly how humans worked.
"You mean to tell me I went to a stupid occult club with a bunch of crazies for two weeks to learn how to summon a demon for nothing!" He yelled quietly so none of his neighbours heard. She nodded looking guilty.
"Well then go home until you learn then, come back." He sounded a little more mad. Flame laughed nervously.
"I can't go home till you're either please, dead or seduced." She sounded nervous. Jay's face turned read.
"What do you mean seduced?" He asked. Oh boy. This kid didn't know he summoned a sex demon did he?
"I'm a succubus." She answered. His mouth dropped opened. He had been learning to summon a sex demon for two weeks? A short, tiny, demon who looked almost human except she had fangs,wings and her nails were so long they looked like they stab someone to death. Wait a minute. How old is she? She looked to be about 12 years old
"How old are you?" He asked.
"14 why, how old are you?" She asked. Holy crap! People could actually summon a 14 year old to do what ever they wanted with them? Suddenly Jay started to get the feeling that maybe it was a a good thing he summoned her before a perv did. Then he remembered he saw her in her underwear. Hopefully demons didn't put him in jail for what he saw. How was he supposed to know she'd be in her underwear? Luna didn't tell him that!
"I'm 15." Jay sighed laying down on his bed. "I guess you're stuck with me until dad either gets better or I die." She nodded. He smiled.
"Well I guess that mean we need to be friends then.... right?" Jay asked looking up. Flames fire coloured eyes were full of wonder. Finally she'd get the chance to have a friend who's not a demon bent on the destruction of the world or killing human!! This was going to be great.
