The room full of people couldn't believe their wide eyes. The boy that was supposedly dead for over a week was...stood in front of them, looking healthy and very much alive!! Sabine seemed to need more proof as she raced towards the boy and attacked him into a tight hug; she held on for dear life, as if there was no tomorrow as she began to cry into his shoulder. "I can't believe you're back!!" she exclaimed "and your sight!! You have your sight back!! But how?!" the youngest teenager just smiled as they parted "I'll explain it all later". The couple were frozen in place due to shock; the Masters all smiled and happily greeted the Padawan, even patting him on the back or shoulder. 

Once Ezra had shared a heart warming moment with his brother and sister, he approached their leader and captain "hey, anyone home??" he joked - classic Ezra; Hera was the first to move, taking a step forward as tears began to spill "Ezra?? You...you're alive?!" she repeated what their artist had said previous. "I can't believe it!!" she exclaimed before pulling her son into a tight and loving embrace; the teen felt his shoulder become damp from the woman's tears soaking through. Reluctantly, Hera released the boy who stepped closer to his Master "hey Kanan, miss me??" the man seemed to finally snap out of his shocked trance and smiled "more...more than you know kid" he immediately wrapped his arms around his Padawan and help on tightly as he cried into the boys mop of navy blue hair. Ezra returned the embrace just as tight and listened to the mans soothing heart beat. 

Once all of the greetings were over - which was awhile - the council began to ask the boy how he was actually back in the land of the living as even the medical droids and living doctors had declared him dead. The all sat down as Ezra began to explain his story - he woke up in a dessert, met Horus - the God of air who seemed proud and impressed with his life and sacrifice before sending him back to the land of the living. "Well...that'll be an interesting bedtime story for Luke and Leia" Anakin stated earning many chuckles - he wasn't wrong; the Ghost crew eventually left the Masters and made their way to their private common room. 

They decided to celebrate their youngest member being brought back to life the classic way - a movie and games day, also known as a family day. Zeb and Sabine gathered some snacks and drinks from the mess hall: popcorn, sweets, chocolates, coca cola and lemonade cans, some fruit, bread sticks and different types of dips. Kanan and Hera collected all of the blankets, covers and pillows from each of their rooms and made a make shift den in the common room - all whilst Ezra hurried to take a quick shower and change his clothes. A pair of shorts and one of Kanan's shirts that he somehow had within his possessions and was never planning on actually returning. 

Once dressed, the teen towel dried his hair so that it was at least damp before leaving his room and returning to the common room; Ezra picked out a multiple of movies and board games. The others entered the prepared common room and they all sat down after beginning the first movie; it was brilliant. They each joked, laughed, played the games, watched the movies and spoke about whatever came to mind; they had never been happier. Half way through the second movie, Anakin, Ahsoka, Master Depa, Master Kenobi and Master Yoda all entered the room to see how the crew were - mainly Ezra of course - and ended up sitting and staying them. 

Hera even offered Anakin to call his wife to see if she and the twins would like to come over and send time with them; he instantly agreed and as soon as Padme discovered that the teenager boy who she cared for deeply was alive, she was already gathering her children and rushing out of their front door. Within an hour, the three came running through the door; Luke and Leia screamed in happiness and joy as they sprinted over to Ezra and jumping into their arms. The boy held the two toddlers tightly, full of joy that they were okay; everyone smiled as they watched the scene unfold. Padme soon embraced her young friend afterwards before taking a seat next to her husband. 

Once the movie ended, Kanan shared a glance with is girlfriend before standing up and leaving the room; he soon returned with a folder within his grasp. Everyone paid attention as he spoke, the woman he loved standing by him "Hera and I have an announcement to make" they listened closely until Sabine exclaimed with wide eyes "you got Hera pregnant?!" it made them all burst out into a fit of laughter. The couple shared an eye wide look of their own; Ezra raised a brow to this "wait...did you??" he asked seriously, stopping everyone's laughs. The couple couldn't but chuckle themselves as they shook their heads "no, I am not pregnant" Hera reassured; Kanan repeated his previous statement before his girlfriend continued. 

"We've been thinks and discussing something for a while now, but when Ezra....when Ezra died, we had lost the chance to ask....but now you're back with us and we're not risking missing our chance again" Ezra stopped eating the bread stick that was in his hand and gave the two his complete attention - as did everyone else "Ezra...we love we, we all love you and care about you more than life itself" Kanan spoke before holding up the folder in his hand "so....Hera and I would like you to read this folder" and with that, he handed it over to the teenager. All eyes were on Ezra as he took the folder with a raised brow; he glanced around the room to see that it seemed no one else knew what the couple were talking about. 

He felt...nervous. Hesitantly, Ezra opened the folder to have some papers; they looked like official documents. All relating to one thing. The teens breath was caught in the back of his throat as his eyes widened at the first word his blue eyes landed on; there had to be a mistake!! Surely Kanan and Hera had given him the wrong thing?? Or maybe he had read it wrong?? The Padawan double checked - scratch that, triple checked - and yet the papers still held the same shocking and life changing word. Could they be playing a joke on him?? He looked up at the two before turning his gaze towards the others, expecting to see them all holding back laughter....but they weren't; they all wore looks of confusion, except the coupe of course. 

If anything, they looked excited yet nervous, terrified even. This was serious. They were serious....this was all real. Not some dream playing in the boys head. Finally someone spoke, breaking the intense silence "what does it say??" it was Luke; his father shushed him, even though his son was asking what they all wanted to know. Ezra somehow managed to find his voice "you....they..." well, he found his voice but he could barely use it; he took a deep breath "...they want to....they want to adopt me" his voice held so much disbelief. All eyes widened in shock; their eyes shot over to the couple who had yet to look away from the young boy "well Ez??" Kanan spoke, his voice gentle yet nerve struck "what do you say??". 

The teenager looked back at the papers in his hand; the adoptive mother and father lines were signed already - Kanan and Hera's signatures were bold and strong. They...they really wanted this!! Smiling, Ezra used the force to retrieve a near by pen from the table and did something he never thought he would ever do; he signed to be adopted by their leader and captain. His signature was sloppy but he didn't care; you could see it was his name and that was all that mattered. Placing the pen and folder on the table, the boy rushed over into the couples open and warm arms as tears began to fall down his cheeks "I love you" he whispered, just loud enough for the pair to hear. 

The one statement warmed their hearts as they smiled, embracing the boy as they shed tears of their own "we love you too sweet heart" the returned, both placing a kiss of their sons forehead or mop of hair. Sabine and Ahsoka both couldn't hold back their squeals, Luke and Leia clapped happily with smiles as big as the Cheshire cats and Depa, Yoda, Zeb and Anakin exchanged fold smiles. "Congratulations!! It's a boy!!" the Lasat joked making them all laugh. They all knew that no matter what, life was good and was going to get better; they were a family by all but blood. Ezra ad never felt so much happiness and hope before. He finally found where he belonged. 

Somewhere that no moral person can go.......

Horus watched the family and friends embrace one another and celebrate through an enchanted pond; he was in his home - the Palace of Egypt. He smiled as he watched the scene unfold before him "that is what a true family is about" he told his chief adviser and best friend. Bek looked at what the God was watching before a smile appeared upon his face also ""what was it you said??" he asked, searching his brain to remember "a family can be galaxies apart....but they are never truly alone, lost or forgotten...they are always with you, no matter what". This earned a nod from the God of air "indeed...I believe that statement is represented through this family, my friend". The two close friends began to walk away from the pond "I wonder if that droid of theirs is okay, Chopper was it??" the adviser spoke his mind "he's been on his own for quite some time now" Horus chuckled, earning a raised brow "oh trust me Bek, Chopper is perfectly fine". 

In the other universe, the said droid was on the Ghost with many other of his rebel droid friends...having a party?! The ship was an absolute mess!! Different colored lights were flashing everywhere, confetti covered the floor, oil had been spilled and music was blasting out so loud that the Empire could probably heard and find them. The naughty droid knew Hera would most likely kill him....or at shut him down for the state her beloved ship was in. But this was Chopper - did he really care?? Nope.
