"how are you coping? jacksons been away for two days and i already miss him so much. i can't help but feel sorry for you..." bambam trailed, playing with the straw that was popped out of his cup of juice.

"i'm barely coping, trust me but it's alright, i can do it. we can do it. so what, eleven weeks? that's not even that long..."

bambam could tell jimin was lying. in fact, anyone could tell that jimin was lying. but it wasn't such a bad thing that he was lying, he thought that if he told himself that he's okay then he will be.

"eleven weeks is a pretty long ti — okay i'll stop talking, don't look at me like that, you're scaring me."

jimin rolled his eyes and finished his drink, glancing around the cafe when a familiar face walked in, their eyes meeting. the tall boy made his way over to where jimin was sat, smiling at the him.

"yugyeom! hi, it's nice to see you again." jimin beamed, smiling widely as his new friend sat beside him.

"hey jimin, it's nice to see you again too!"

"bam, this is yugyeom. yugyeom this is bambam." jimin introduced his best friend to his new friend, smiling as his eyes flickered between the two boys. bambam smiled at yugyeom, waving his hand a little. "it's nice to meet you."

"you too." yugyeom responded before looking around the cafe and standing up, telling the two that he was going to get a drink before he would come back, instructed to do so by jimin.

"how did you meet him?" bambam took a sip of his drink, raising his eyebrows at his friend. jimin explained to him what happened the day he went out shopping and literally bumped into yugyeom, leading them to become friends.

"seems like he has a thing for you."

"he knows i have a boyfriend and he knows it's yoongi, i told him." bambam just slowly nodded his head, glancing over at the boy, who he knew by yugyeom, while he walked over and sat down beside the orange haired boy. "ahh."

"so what are you doing here? how's things?" yugyeom asked jimin, taking a sip of the coffee he was holding in his hand, not removing his eyebrows from as he spoke.

"i'm just here meeting with bambam. i'm fine, missing my boyfriend though." jimin chuckled quietly, playing with his cup as he stared at his hand.

"oh yeah, yoongi's gone. how are you keeping?"

"he's doing good. speaks to his boyfriend every night. even though he's gone, they're still madly in love." bambam spoke, emphasising the words boyfriend and madly, making sure yugyeom was very aware that jimin was in a relationship.

jimin raised an eyebrow, looking over at the red haired boy who was sitting in front of him. yugyeom nodded his head slowly, pursing his lips as the three of them suddenly became silent, not speaking a word.

"well i'm gonna get going. it was so nice to see you again jimin, text me and we can hang out again soon!" yugyeom beamed, smiling at the orange haired boy before mumbling a bye to bambam, not wanting to seem rude. "yeah, you too. see ya."

the pair watched as yugyeom walked away, leaving the cafe. once he was gone jimin instantly turned around and looked at bambam, raising both his eyebrows. "what was that about?"

bambam just shrugged, sipping on his drink. "i was just stating facts." jimin rolled his eyes, finishing off his drink before the two decided it was time to leave.

"i'll see you later. stay strong, jackson will be home soon." jimin said, slapping bambam on the back. bambam rolled his eyes, wrapping his arm around his hyungs shoulder. "thanks but i think you have it worse than i do."

jimin and bambam departed from one another, bambam going home and jimin just walking about. he didn't bother to take his car with him, wanting to take a walk and get his mind off of things. he didn't know where he was walking to but he thought maybe it would take his mind off of missing yoongi. even if it was just for an hour.

when jimin stopped walking, he looked around only now realising he was at the beach. he didn't realise he had walked so far.

jimin loved the beach, something about the sound of waves crashing off the rocks and the feeling of the cold water around his ankles made him feel calm. the smell of salt water reminded him of when he was a child, when his parents would take him to the beach, playing in the sand and the water with him. that was before his dad had sadly passed away.

jimins father died when he was 14 years old due to a heart attack. it was all so sudden but it impacted jimin, his brothers and mother a lot. it was only about 3 years ago that they all started acting normal again.

jimin didn't realise he was crying until he felt a tear fall on to his hand. he reached up and wiped his face, taking a deep breath before he slipped out of his shoes, pulling his socks off, making his way down to the water.

with his socks shoved into his shoes that were held in his right hand, he took out his phone using his free hand, taking a photo to put on his instagram later before putting the phone back in his pocket, taking a well needed walk around the beach.

after staying to watch the sunset, he decided it was finally about time he went home. with his socks and shoes somehow getting soaked, he knew he couldn't wear them. his first instinct was to call yoongi but then he remembered the latter was in japan, so that wouldn't be helpful so he called jinyoung who said he'd be there in 10 minutes.

"thank you so much for coming, i wanted to walk so i didn't bring my car." jinyoung nodded his head, smiling at his best friend as he got in and put his seatbelt on.

"it's fine, what are best friends for?"

jimin and jinyoung spent the rest of the drive to jimins place talking about their boyfriends, informing each other about how they've been. even though they had seen each other just 3 days ago.

when they arrived to jimins apartment building, jimin said goodbye to jinyoung before going inside and straight to his bed, stripping out of his clothes. once he got to his bed, he took out his phone, texting yoongi for the first time in 4 hours saying he got distracted so he didn't see his messages. yoongi instantly replied that it was fine, saying that he was about to go one stage and that he loved him to which jimin replied with a good luck and an i love you before he went on instagram, the app he hadn't uploaded on to since yoongi left.
