"Max, calm down! You're okay!" Duke cried as he rushed over to help his brother. Waking up, Gidget joined in. Snowball had already been awake, his eyes wide in terror. After four minutes, Max finally stopped screaming. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Shaking uncontrollably as he lay back in his bed while Gidget gently stroked his forehead, Max mumbled, "It was a bonfire... a really big bonfire..." Placing a kiss on her boyfriend's cheek, Gidget whispered reassuringly, "It's alright, it was just a dream. It won't hurt you now."

"You need to work on that scream of yours dude, it sounds so... girly," Duke informed Max. A glare from his brother made the large dog keep his mouth shut.

"No, they're not just dreams..." Snowball murmured, speaking for the first time since Max woke up. The terrier was actually surprised that the rabbit wasn't the one who said something about his scream. Everyone turned to look over at their friend, wondering what he had meant.

Hugging himself as he tried to keep his breathing steady, Snowball quickly got to his feet as he cried, "I'll be back. I just need to see something really quick." Turning around, he added, "And whatever you do... don't fall asleep." Without another word, he left.

"What the heck is wrong with him now?" Duke questioned aloud.
