"Dude, you're supposed to be the smartest out of all of us. That's the dumbest idea I have ever heard!" Duke exclaimed. Mel and Buddy rapidly nodded their heads in agreement. "I hate to say this but... I agree the dogs," Ozone meowed. However, Tiberius wasn't listening to any of their warnings. Pacing the floor, he muttered, "We only lose because we show our fear to him. The only thing we should fear is fear itself."

"That's still not a good excuse to get yourself killed," Chloe pointed out.

"My mind is made up!" Tiberius snapped, startling everyone. Huffing, the old hawk left without another word to any of them. Breathing heavily, Gidget hugged Max as she cried into his fur. "He's gonna get himself killed! I just know it!" Trying to soothe his girlfriend, Max embraced her.

"Someone should keep watch over him," Snowball murmured. Recieving looks from the others, he explained, "If it looks like he's losing, he's gonna look like he's having a normal nightmare, which would involve him shaking. Someone should be with him to wake him up if that happens. And then slap him across the face for thinking of such a stupid idea."

"I'll do it," Gidget volunteered herself without hesitation. Nuzzling Max, she headed off to go follow her friend.

Biting his lip, Buddy quietly spoke up, "Guys, I have a vet appointment today. I'll be back by noon but I just wanted to let you know." Giving Mel a reassuring hug, he left.

"Right, that leaves us six," Snowball murmured, "Tiny Dog and Fat Dog, you're with me. Ozone, you take Chloe and Mel. Let's go find those bones."
