Chapter 37
"This is the spot?" Max asked. He was standing under an ancient oak tree with Duke and Snowball at his side. Looking at the map he had brought along with them, Snowball quietly nodded his head. "Honestly, this does seem like a good spot to bury someone evil," the white rabbit remarked, rolling up the piece of parchment.
"I still think that this is disrespectful," Duke mumbled. Max and Snowball glared at the giant mutt. "Get to digging," Snowball grumbled. Sighing, Duke went right to work. Before he started working alongside his brother, Max pulled Snowball off to the side. "I don't think it's safe for me to be around the bonfire," he whispered.
"Of course not Tiny Dog, nobody wants to get burned," Snowball replied. Shaking his head quietly, Max explained, "That's not what I meant. In the dream I had, I am engulfed by this huge bonfire. This might be the thing that kills me."
"Then stay away from the bonfire!" Duke called from where he was digging up the earth. Grunting, the large dog added, "And get your tails over here and help me!" Rolling his eyes at his brother, Max padded over and lended a paw. Snowball hopped over to help as well.

"Guys, I feel like I'm doing most of the dirty work here," Mel whined, his head peeking out of a hole that he had been digging in for quite sometime. Chloe and Ozone were laying on their backs in the warm sunshine. "I don't know what you're talking about," Chloe declared.
