"What good will four nobles be against a wyvern?" Tia asked, her eyes wide. "You know the only way to kill one is by using the Sun Sword, and that is lost in history."

"We could find it," Sierra answered. "The last place the Sun Sword was seen was northwest of the Castle, in a town called Corona. We could start there."

"And even if we find the sword, how are we going to stab the dragon before it burns us to crisp?" Esther shouted. "I do not want to be burnt to a crisp, thank you very much."

"Drug it with a sleeping potion?" Sierra offered. "But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

"Wait- you're serious?" Diana's eyes widened.

"Yes," she stated firmly. "But I need your help."

"If you're going, then I'm going. I can't leave you, and you need me," Tia decided. Sierra nodded gratefully at her.

"Fine. Then I'm going too," Esther added, glancing at her sister. They all stared at Diana.

"I'll come," she said at last, smiling.

Her heart did a backflip. "Come on, there's one more member I want to add to our team..."

"Who's he?" Diana asked as Reed stepped out onto the porch.

"Everyone, this is Reed Sande," Sierra motioned to her friend. "I met him a few nights ago at the gala. He's a servant at the castle."

Reed smiled. "What do you need?" He asked.

"I assume you've read the newsletter?"she questioned.

"Of course."

"We are going on a- an expedition to find the Sun Sword and kill the wyvern," She stumbled, struggling to remain calm. "And I was wondering if you would come with us."

Reed stood with his mouth agape for a couple seconds, then finally spoke, "Are you serious?"

Sierra nodded, catching Diana's hostile expression, which seemed to say, I don't think we can trust him.

"If you're going, then I have to," Reed stated firmly, catching them by surprise.

Yes! Sierra thought. She shot Diana a firm look. I trust him. You should, too.

"It's settled, then. Pack your bags and meet here at midnight tomorrow," Sierra confirmed. I'll be ready.
