Wyvern Attacks Ballia

It is said that at approximately 9:30 pm last night, a ferocious red wyvern attacked the peaceful Clestonian city of Ballia. Few managed to escape, and are now being treated at the Castle. Meanwhile, King David has issued twenty of the Knights of Cleston to go to the city and try to locate the dragon.

She looked up from the newsletter she was holding, horrified. If a dragon was on the loose in the kingdom, a wyvern at that, couldn't King David send more knights to fight? Why only twenty?

Diana, who had been reading over her shoulder, shook her head, "Well, he should probably send more reinforcements to the cities around Ballia, because they're most likely to be attacked next."

"I think that King David is scared for his life," Esther spoke up. They all turned to hear her out. "He thinks that if the dragon was to attack the kingdom, he'd be safe with practically every Knight in Cleston to guard him."

"We need to do something about it!" Sierra pronounced. "We can't sit here while the citizens of Ballia watch their whole world fall apart. You saw that man in the ballroom. Innocent lives are at stake, and the King is barely doing anything about it."

"But what can we do?" Diana asked, her dark eyes intense.

A silent moment passed when no one said anything.

Sierra stared at her. "We could hunt down the dragon ourselves."
