Alllllllllll of these Drapple spawns and their parents had a conference. Apple told the family that she used to know Pear, and that the two had always disliked each other, but she wouldn't elaborate on the subject. She told the kids not to worry, but to stay safe. 

Then, Draco and Apple went up to their room. Draco knew Apple really well, and he could tell she was hiding something. He asked her about it. In a low voice, Apple told him more about her old enemy Pear, and how she thought Pear wanted to destroy the family.

Apple didn't tell the whole truth, though. You see, she had a dark secret. Her and Pears' relationship had been more than a simple disliking. Years ago, Pear and Apple had both had a crush on Grape. But he was turned into jelly. Both Apple and Pear had blamed each other, Pear said that Apple had pushed him in, which she denied, and she said that Pear had murdered him to hurt Apple. Actually, it had been Apple, although that was her secret.  She had done it in a fit of rage when Grape said he didn't love her, and had felt nothing but guilt since. 

She didn't tell Draco all of this because she didn't want him to know that she was a murderer, or that she had ever felt that way for somebody other than him. 

Apple knew it was her fault Pear had come here. She was terrified. But she couldn't tell anyone. 

And then, when Draco left the room for a minute, there was a knock on the window and a note was thrown inside...
